We had breakfast, eggs Benedict for her, eggs, scrapple and hash browns for me and we split a Belgian waffle...More food than we could comfortably stuff down!The waffle was really, really good. Crispy exterior, light, fluffy and creamy center.The Benedict was done to perfection, perfect.The scrapple, I asked for it deep-fried, was perfectly crispy on the outside, eggs over-easy had no running whites...Lots of great photos on the walls! “We are seniors, Philly foodies, and new to living seasonally here all year round. And I'm a retired chef. The cafe style, all day breakfast/lunch menu is varied, the food was fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the service friendly and efficient. I had the (really) grilled (really fresh) chicken (breast meat) Caesar sandwich and my husband the burger Florentine. He asked for medium rare. It wasn't, but it was pink. We shared the tasty, crunchy sweet potato fries and finished them off. I had lemonade w/o corn syrup and they kindly checked the label for me to make sure it was. We'll be back. Often.“

“This was a great local spot in Atlantic City. Great diner food affords pricing and a lovely server. Everything was good. Very homey feel when eating the food. Makes you feel good. We had the two eggs over medium with bacon and grits plus pancakes eggs with cheese beef sausage and turkey bacon. Everything tasted great. Better than other diners I’ve had. “My boyfriend and I came here a few months ago and everything was wonderful. If you’re looking for a restaurant that feels like home, this is it. I got the chipped beef over toast which hit the spot. The Oreo hot chocolate was also very good. A cozy place to enjoy a meal and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly! “

I prefer chopped up potatoes, fried in butter and slightly crispy. Not a small amount of dry hunks of potatoes. Gilchrist’s home fries need a complete overhaul. Still, I will be back!“
“Food is always magnificent. However, The lady that answers the calls and sits ppl down needs better phone etiquette when taking orders or attending people. She is not polite, and rushes in taking phone calls, doesnt let u finish your sentence, and she already asking "anything else?" Other than that everything else and everyone else is great“
“I visited Brittany's while in AC for a concert with my Dad, finding it in searching online for good breakfast places. Very happy we ended up eating here. I had a breakfast sandwich with pork roll and potatoes on the side, which was very good, and my dad enjoyed his Belgian waffle. Would definitely return to Brittany's if ever back in AC.“

“A friend recommended Uncle Bill's Pancake House in Ocean City, NJ for breakfast. I had never been there but he insisted that we try it. Needless to say, I've never had pancakes that good, ever! Their coffee was equally as good. The waitress was fantastic and checked back several times and even had the entire menu memorized. Trust me, I tried giving her a few numbers, and she nailed everything listed at those numbers without hesitation. If you are in Ocean City, NJ, go check out Uncle Bill's Pancake House. “Absolutely Delightful Restaurant!! Definitely can feel the warm welcome when you walk in.. Google list open time at 12pm on Saturday, however they opened at 1:30. We choose to wait based on previous reviews. We were so glad we did! Hostess was extremely friendly as she took our order and suggested favorites. Orders are freshly made with love, and trust me when I say true perfection takes time… The owner knows his flavors! We tried a few different entrees. Fried Shrimp was seasoned perfectly, whiting fish and lemon pepper wings were crispy and tasteful. Salmon w/sautéed shrimp over rice covered in cream garlic sauce was exquisite.. And let’s talk about the sides. The Mac and cheese was definitely mackin, the green beans were tasty, the yams and collard greens were as good as Grandmas .. Each entree was paired with a piece of cornbread, and it was nothing short of amazing. Sweet Soft and specially made.. You can definitely taste the love in this food . If and when we come back to Jersey we will definitely stop here again ⭐️“
