“I was staying at the Motel 6 in Elizabeth and there isn't much for breakfast around here that isn't fast food. Roc's Cafe is incredible! I had the Miss Piggy and a coffee. The staff are also very pleasant. definitely worth stopping at if you are passing by or are in town!“

“When I first came here, I didn’t know what to expect. I think the guy at the register was Dominican I asked him to put me on the top seller. He didn’t really do that. He just pointed me to the menu. I didn’t know what to expect my first time, but I tried pancakes with eggs toast because I wasn’t sure if the sausage was pork. A cheese and a beef empanada and a egg and cheese sandwich. “But I was blown away by the flavor. The food was so fresh.” 5 star for the food. I was expecting some more eggs with my pancakes, platter, and toast, but the food is good.“

Panini Caffe Cafe • $$
535 3rd Ave, Elizabeth

“For an authentic Italian experience, Panini Grill is a must! The servers are warm and friendly; and Christina is just perfection! She really made our dining experience memorable. My husband and I drove in from PA after watching Chef Peter’s reels on Instagram. We called two couples from Brooklyn and met them. There were parking spots all over (early Saturday night) but they do have valet parking, which is a big plus. Our food order was as follows: Italian Nachos (so good, especially with the cheese sauce on the side), fried calamari (I’m not a fan but my husband and everyone who ate them said they were good), Margherita Pizza (thin, crispy, delicious), another pizza with prosciutto, mushrooms, cheese & arugula (possibly the best pizza I’ve had in a really long time), baked clams (my friend said they were really good), chicken cutlet parm panini (Delish! The chicken cutlets were pounded, tender and delicious… for $15 you can eat for 2 days… their panini are huge), broccoli rabe panini that I heard was excellent, my husband had the special pasta dish of paccheri with burrata (I tried this and loved it), and finally, an order of cacio è pepe — the presentation of this is so fun, they play Mambo Italiano and we clapped and sang while Christina tossed the pasta in the flaming wheel of parmigiano and I think my friend’s husband ate it all, so it must’ve been good bc he’s not a big eater. It was a great night … and the music!! If you want to know what we listened to growing up in an Italian household, you’ll feel joy coming from the speakers of Panini Grill… classics like Felicità, Tu, O Saraceno, Sarà Perché Ti Amo I think were all songs I heard last night. What a blast from the past! They even had fun American music, but my favorites were the Italian tunes. What a great night! The 2 hour drive was so worth it and we will definitely be back, and both couples we were with said they were definitely going back. Panini Grill makes me wish I still lived in the neighborhood bc I’d be there a couple times a week! Great place! And before we walked out the door, my husband and I said to the patrons and staff “when you dine at Panini Grill, non ti preoccupare, tutt’ apposto!!! ?? Thanks for a terrific dinner and we will be back soon and I’m already thinking about catering! Yes! We are going to drive in to pick up trays of food to bring back to PA bc we want to support this exceptional business! Una cosa fantastica! Grazie mille.“

“I've been there a few times whenever I would see my dentist, who is a few doors over from them. The ladies there are very friendly, though their English is limited--but it's good enough that I can get my favorite food from there: their chicken breast sandwich!! I think it's called "sandwich de pollo". It's one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had!“

“Ordered a simple hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was a bit bland and they did not a good job or mixing it up well. However, the pastries, cakes were on point. As a non-coffee drinker it was good to see many hot and cold tea and various drinks to that satisfies quenchesWith a purchase of anything you can able to use the wifi. Through this we were able to use it no problem“

“Cute and inviting atmosphere, and the workers are very considerate! The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was delicious. The caramel latte was a little too sweet, however it could’ve been us since we didn’t modify the coffee order. I would come here again the next time I’m in the area!“

“Tricolory is an Ecuadorian/Peruvian restaurant since they serve very good food from both countries and above all they are typical Creole dishes from each country, especially in this Tricolory restaurant. The dish that I like the most is the green ball soup, onion and the mountain flag, three dishes that make it delicious and, above all, with a lot of love from the owner of the restaurant.Above all, I also want to send a cordial greeting to all the staff that the restaurant has there. Very good waitresses and, above all, professional staff. Regarding the prices, they are fair, neither very cheap nor very expensive, so I can describe them as fair and the rest, because I want to let you know that the restaurant has a variety of decorations, it is never kept with the same colors, they always vary and they always make it look with a good update. Bonita, I want to let you know that I congratulate you and that you continue as you have been doing. You are a well-known restaurant here in the Hispanic community and it is especially in the city of Elizabeth. ????Vegetarian options: Tricolor and it is not a vegetarian restaurant, therefore you need to go somewhere else because here the food is seasoned very well and above all the meat is very delicious so I am very sorry to vegetarian people I do not recommend it since they do cook here Very delicious, especially what is the cow, the pig, the goat, the chicken. Find another VEGETARIAN place ???? ?Kid-friendliness: The tricolor restaurant is a very good place to come with family and children, it is a very friendly place, it is a very nice family atmosphere, very cool, cool as they say in Ecua.Wheelchair accessibility: I could see that the people and the staff make space and above all, they give all the comforts to people who are disabled, so good job TRICOLORY ♿“
