“Dined here a few weeks back and absolutely loved it. Didn't have a reservation, but was able to sneak in before dinner service got busy. Interior was well-designed and open kitchen concept is always cool. We had a bunch of apps- ceviche, calamari, a fish crudo. We each had a ramen (shortrib and duck). All the food was great, fresh, and interesting. Definitely would recommend.“

As well as Joseph and Kathy who were amazing servers, they were so attentive and gave some of the best customer service. They are an excellent team, with some of the best personalities. “We accidentally ate everything before taking photos. We thought the photos on DoorDash were fake but they looked that way because they were just that perfect in person. We could not fathom how they could have so much variety and in the menu but everything we've tried was the best versions of that meal that we've had. The cauliflower wings were crispy with a meat-like texture and perfectly flavored. The veggie lo mein was perfectly seasoned and full of vegetables. The steak sandwich was packed withnflavor and fresh herbs. Lastly, passion fruit lemonade was super tart and fresh. With a clean, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home right away, i already thought this was 100% perfect and the best place i've been to in my 29 years in NJ...then they said it was dog friendly. Somehow they've succeeded at 110% perfection.“

“There are many Peruvian restaurants but Julia’s Cafe is one of my newest favorite Peruvian food in town. The food is definitely authentically made by a Peruvian cook that understands the passion of culinary through Peruvian cuisine. Even down to sauces and spices you can taste some authenticity. We often get catering when we have a get-together or a birthday and they often times accept despite not having delivery drivers sometimes. I’m grateful for the owner and his service and for food. Everyone should give them a try and have a taste for themselves. ??“

“I walked in on a whim and was greeted with open arms and an education into what Peruvian food is traditionally and how fantastic it is. There were so many possible options that I couldn't decide. I ended up with the ceviche combo plate, and wow! I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.“

“If you like Peruvian food this is a good stop. It was my second time visiting and though the waitress was new and couldn’t help much with the menu her service was good. People do order out a lot from here but they do manage to get your food in there in time as well. They play music which keeps the atmosphere entertained my only complaint was that it was extremely hot inside and the ac was on. Overall good food. The drinks saved me in the heat.“

Sitting area is not huge; parking on side is generally available. Always futball (soccer) on TV. Service is friendly…looks like the son has taken over after his parents or at least is more enagaged…definitelly starting to modernize…but food is ?.“

“The staff is nice, a very authentic place. I ordered a Chaufa de mariscos but I noticed the seafood they used was pretty small kind of like they used frozen seafood. But of course it was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and it's a small family owned place so not many come and sit down to eat. My father ordered pescado a lo macho and it looked absolutely delicious! A giant fish fillet with seafood and sauce, I was jealous I didn't order that dish. Perhaps I will next time“

“The food is really good. The girls are kind and attentive, just too many for a small place. For me personally, I might never eat in there, just for take out. The problem is that the place is really small and so there is not enough space to attend the customer and for the employers to move with liberty. They should look into keep the place cleaner and fog free. Their display with the desserts is full of water on the glass because it is too hot in the place.Since, they do have a really good flow of customers, I think that the owners should see into make the place more efficient for comfort. It will be a great investment since they do have a really good flow of customers. They have an air-conditioning unit on entrance door, when you come into the store, dripping water outside, from almost all its sides to the front mat, you have to try to avoid to get it on you. It makes seem the place not well kept. Sad because they could make the place better not only for the customers but also for their workers.The place is there for years but they haven't done any improvements to it.How might be behind the glass that gives to the kitchen? ?“

“My brother and I ate some scrumptious ceviches, the grilled octopus was magnificent and the choritos a la chalaca were very good. It would be great if they opened another restaurant in other locations so we don't have to travel so far, although the trip is well worth it. I recommend them.“
