“We went to Fontana Di Trevi for our anniversary, and the service was great. They were very attentive and periodically checked in on us. We ordered a pitcher of the ‘Full of Grape' and the mussels appetizer from the Chef's Special. Both tasted great and the appetizer had generous portions. Unfortunately, we found the entrees to be just ok, nothing really remarkable considering the meal started off with a great drink and appetizer. We ordered the jumbo shrimp and chicken scarpariello. At the end of the meal we asked for our check but they surprised us with a complimentary panna cotta dessert which was delicious. The place is small and would have been nice for a romantic anniversary dinner date except it got too loud when the restaurant started to fill up which made it difficult to carry out a conversation without competing with the noise of other guests talking. I would give this place another try and perhaps ordering something else from their menu would improve my opinion of the place. The service is really exceptional and would be the main reason I would try coming back.“
“So fresh, delicious and authentic Italian that if you eat food from here and didn't love yourself already, you might sit there and think you don't deserve food this good... ? ?Vegetarian options: Italians love thir vegetables so it should come to no surprise how many out of this world dishes are vegan and out of this world!Wheelchair accessibility: Has no stairs at all and wide doorways and walkway“
“Cassie's is an excellent little Italian pizzeria in Englewood, NJ. We dined as a large group (three long tables). Food was excellent and service was efficient. Quaint atmosphere. We had the caesar salad, house chopped salad, fried cheese sticks, pepperoni pizza, rigatoni with meat sauce and chicken parmigiana, all served family style. Food was so good we ordered a takeout the next night! REALLY enjoyed the pasta and fresh basil on the pizza. Manager was onsite and genuinely took pride in his restaurant. If in the area, I recommend.“
“Great food and great service. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The ribeye was excellent! Definitely get medium-rare. The NY strip was a bit too rare, so I would suggest sticking to medium for it. Whiskey Sour was also a great choice. They do know how to make it here!“
“Excellent buffalo mozzarella pizza and the sea bass was an incredible surprise in both flavor and freshness. High quality products of TRUE Italian origin, which in themselves are already synonymous with quality. Young and dynamic environment with staff who know how to put you at ease with a smile. We will definitely return during our next visit.“
“Superior in every way: impeccable food, gracious and knowledgeable servers, warm and inviting atmosphere. The simple things stood out: the bread, olive oil, original and authentic flavors. Black truffles shaved over delicate ravioli. Veal chop with sautéed peppers and onion. Swoon worthy grilled swordfish. Delicate Dover Sole presented before plating. Meltingly tender meatballs. And those were just a few of the specials. Next time, I'll try the house menu options.“
“First time. Not upscale or trendy. Old school pizzeria. And I was pleasantly surprised. I met a friend for just a slice or two after our meeting. He got there first and had ordered a plate of sausage and broccoli rabe. Well, that sounded good to me so I decided to pasta up, too. Linguine with garlic and rapini. A not unpleasant dining room. Clean, dark with well spaced tables. Our meals were brought out to us on real plates. (I make note because nothing is more disappointing than being served a takeout container of spaghetti while eating inside.). Generously portioned. The bread was fresh and warm. My friend's sausage looked a little dry. My linguini was al dente. Lots of garlicky oil and tasty rapini. I think the greens had been parboiled. They missed that sometimes unpleasant bitterness they have when not. Anyway, we tucked in. Conversation and comfort abounded. Well worth the stop for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner.“
“I started ordering from them 20 years ago and I still order from them. Their Pizza is really delicious and dough is nice. Staff has a great welcoming smile. Place can use a bit modernization in decor.Thank you for being the best one in our area.“
“Awesome NYC style pizza. The establishment was super clean and had some lovely art decorating the walls. I decided to keep it simple with 2 plain slices. It was served really quickly and piping hot. Everything was delicious and made to perfection. I definitely will be coming back.“
“Highly recommended. It started a bit bumpy with having to fill out an order online form to make the reservation because no one answered the phone, just a voice mail was available. They made up for it though, first they returned my call / form immediately and rescheduled my reservation with no problem. The food came out right away, we got a delicious bread too. The food was out of this world! Got the black linguine frutti di mare. We be back for more!“
“I went there for my first time and it was amazing. Service is excellent. Food I can not explain how delicious was…. BYOB!! People there are super nice. The chicken sandwich was to die for and the chicken wings AKA SALVAJE!!! specially the pepper lemon ones. Omg!! Definitely, will come back for MORE ?“
