“Got takeout from here the other night for dinner and the food was absolutely fantastic! The chana masala and the sage paneer were particularly delicious. All of the food we got was delicious but those were my favorite dishes. I would love to go back for dine in to get more of the experience. The food was delicious and I look forward to returning.“

“I'd like to begin by praising the excellent food and atmosphere. However, despite making a 9:30 pm reservation for Friday via OpenTable, upon arrival, we were hurried to place our entire order right away due to the kitchen closing at 10 pm. Initially, we were advised to hold off on ordering drinks until after we'd ordered our food. It's worth noting they don't serve alcohol; it's BYOB, though their mango lassi is outstanding. By 10:15 pm, we found ourselves as the only patrons left, feeling pressured to eat quickly. Given that our reservation was accepted for 9:30 pm, we had anticipated having at least an hour to savor our meal but felt rushed by the staff to conclude by 10:30 pm. Despite our eagerness and appetite leading us to order generously, we were compelled to take most of our meal home.“

“Wanted to try a local Indian place and this place came up in my search. I got the butter chicken with basmati rice and paratha. I am so happy I gave this restaurant a go! Food was excellent! Butter chicken was so flavorful. I was nervous it would be too spicy for me bc I don’t like too too spicy but this was just the right amount of kick for me. I can’t wait to order from them again! “I decided to go out for Indian and picked this place. The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. We started with a few appetizers. Chicken samosas, vegetable spring rolls and paneer pakoda . They were excellent! Everything came out hot and fresh! For our entrees we desired to go with goat Tikka marsala, butter chicken marsala and chicken jalfrezi. The goat was tender and succulent. The butter chicken was delicious and creamy. We paired that with garlic naan and roti. It also comes with rice. The rice was soft and fluffy absolutely delicious just on its own! The waiter was super friendly and helpful, even suggesting items we might like to try in the future. Don't forget to treat yourself to a Mango lasssi! I will absolutely be back. If you are looking for an intimate local restaurant for top notch Indian cuisine! I highly recommend you try this place for yourself!“

“I am here on a weekly basis for the most part and I have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. I can’t find a lighter to light the candle, but thank you so much for the birthday brownie. You guys are awesome.“

“Lets Start Here..... The website has an issue, The menu has the wrong days they are open, and the prices are different. But those are small things and I would just suggest giving them a call to make sure they are open. Ambiance of his place is what you would expect. You are not going there for a 5 star luxury experience. This is a local family owned Indian spot with great food. It is very clean but it is not going to be on the cover of Restaurant Interiors anytime soon. Service was great. The gentleman apologized for the information being incorrect, was very polite and my food was ready on time. Now the Food. As my cohorts opened their containers every dish looked correct. Not too creamy, just enough Ghee floating on top. The consistency of each meal was what you would expect. Flavor was excellent, rice was fresh, we couldn't have asked for anything more. This will become our new Indian lunch spot moving forward.“

“The service was incredible . We ordered the mumbai bhel which was outstandingly tasty. Paneer tikka sizzler was decent . For the entree , ordered vegetarian biryani which was very well cooked . The portions were also good for 2 people . Overall , very economical for the location. Highly recommend it“

The chutney is fresh w/ a hint of spice.2. Lamb Gyro.Very tender and flavorful. I would definitely order again.3. Vegetable Kachalou.The potato filling is delicious. My complaints are that the outer part of the deep fried shell was a bit overcooked and that it is deep fried.4. Falafel, although deep fried, is light and fresh. Has a very nice flavor.Pros:1. “Place bit away from the temple building but within the same complex. There is separate parking lot with covered parking. Prices are nominal ($5 each for any food). We had pongal, dosa, vada, coffee, tamarind rice, etc., We moderately liked the food we ordered, specially the coconut chutney was very good. Service was fast, staffs are friendly, clean area, restrooms are clean/well maintained. One thing i find issue here is they don't display the price, but mostly all food are $5 except tea/coffee $2. Food served here is VEGAN (so don't expect ghee, milk based food ingredients). For coffee/tea they use oatmilk(personally i did not liked it). But all in all good price at nominal price.“

“Previously the Hot Breads in Monroe, Currys & Cakes is under new ownership but remains an Indian bakery. The owners are very nice and helpful. One day I called asking if they had pav bhaji buns available and they didn't, but they asked me how many I needed and told me to come at a certain time because they had begun baking the bread. When I picked them up, the buns were still steaming hot and they remained hot once I arrived home. They were fluffy, soft, and delicious. I appreciated their kind actions and look forward to supporting their business in the future!“
