One of those is a perfect dessert after dinner. They have so many homemade delicious flavors; they are all amazing!! They do not use any artificial ingredients either. I especially love their lemon ice. I find little bits of lemon rind in it so you know the flavor is real. The lemon ice quenches my thirst, especially on a hot summer day. The staff is very warm and accommodating. They are happy to answer questions.“

Long before the Sopranos filmed here we were enjoying homemade ice cream, burgers, grilled cheeses, and turkey sandwiches. This is old-school, old vibes, but good food. “I selfishly want to keep this place a little secret, but I know it's not right to do and so I must share my thoughts and quick review so that you may enjoy it too. My go-to coffee is usually black and nothing else. Instead I opted to try their "Hot Chai latte"and a choice of oat milk, half/half and milk and other options. I went with the half/half and It was absolutely delicious. Groundwork's Cafe is just the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself with their many food and drink options. The energy and vibe is exactly what I like to surround myself in. The cafe is extremely clean all around!!!! The staff members are beyond friendly and welcoming. There's off street meter parking and town meter parking lots within a short walking distance. What I ordered: Hot chai latte Chicken Colombian empanadas A small cup of Tomato Soup I LOVED IT ALL! Here, you just go by the list and hope you picked right. So call me spoiled, because I live next to the best ice cream in North Jersey and here is only second best. But the noise of Route 23 and nowhere to really sit and enjoy yourself - it gets to me. 5 star ice cream if you're taking out, but don't even think about eating in. Oh, and don't order Italian ice. “Rita's fan for many years. Unfortunately the few around us closed down. Glad we found this one which is a few minutes away from our son's school. We almost always get the mango gelati (mango water ice with soft serve custard. They taste the same no matter which one you go to. The custard is very rich and smooth and it may not sound like a good combo but it's great when combined with mango ice. It also became our 4 year old's favorite dessert. He actually doesn't care much about ice cream but he likes Rita's. Staff is always nice. They have benches in front of the parking spot which is pretty smart.“
