On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. “PROS:- This place makes their bases (which they have numerous kinds of) right in front of you. It's not premade like Frutta Bowls or Playa Bowls. So you can customize it completely.- The portions are HUGE especially compared to Frutta Bowls. I much rather have more of the base (which is difficult to make at home) than the slices of fruit on top (which is easy to do at home).- Krystina and Shanel made our bowls and were so warm and patient -- explaining all of their options and even giving us free samples of their sugar free peanut butter which they grind right in front of you (this was the topping we chose -- highly recommend).- They even have a BOGO on Wednesdays if you use the app. You can bet we will be there again this week for it.CONS:- Acai bowls in general are not cheap. But I've made many acai bowls myself at home, and those 100% acai packets from Trader Joe's are a pain to open and work with. My daughter got the Short Hills Sandwich (Steak, fried eggs, sauteed onions & cheese). I got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl (Quinoa brown rice, fresh sliced avocado, cucumber, carrots, soybeans, fresh scallion, fresh ginger, sesame seed - I said no to the avocado). It was too much food, and I couldn't finish it, but my daughter did that for me.The service was super nice. The place was very crowded and busy but they were keeping up.The place is kind of a small diner and a diner-like selection. I suspect they could do a lot more business with more space and parking.The image is of a watermelon radish, which they used as garnish on both our dishes. They have radish texture but only a faint radish taste. Very large, 5 or 6 cm.Vegetarian options: There are several, in the way that any diner these days has several vegetarian options. It's clearly not a specialty of theirs, but you absolutely have non-meat choices.Parking: They have a lot, but it isn't large nor immediately adjacent, but it's not far. There's not a lot of street parking or municipal lots in that area so I'm not sure what we would have done if their lot was full. It was Easter so maybe I'd park in a spot reserved for some business that was obviously not open.Kid-friendliness: There were lots of kids when we were there.“

“I have been to this perfect little neighborhood gem several times over the years, and I have never been disappointed. Many customers are greeted by name as they clearly have many regulars. The ambiance is nothing fancy, but you will feel comfortable. As for the food you really cannot go wrong. The soups are very popular. The tomato basil is perfection, and they serve it with an exceptional roll. Every crepe I have had, both savory and sweet, has been delicious. Also, they are huge! “I wish I went here sooner. I love everything about this place. There’s plenty of food options. They have a sandwich and wrap station , taco station , pizza station , a fresh salad and bowl station and fruits and desserts. There’s plenty of chips and drinks to choose from. This is a great lunch spot. I had a “Livingston” pizza which had bacon, pineapple , and Gorgonzola cheese and it was real delicious. I also tried an “Essex” sandwich which was chicken cutlet , spicy ranch and tomato on Focaccia bread toasted nicely in the oven. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating. “Tucked away in a Wyckoff strip mall is Suoer Juice Nation. Inside you can find endless smoothie and juice combinations that a vegan friendly. Some of their specials are protein packed smoothies that are incredibly delicious! My all time favorite is PB&J. The retail part of this location is just as wonderful. There is a HUGE wall filled with vegan and vegetarian friendly snacks. A few that caught my eye were vegan jersey, different types of veggie doodles, and chocolates. They also have a fridge with specialties such as Mac and cheese, chicken salad, chopped salads, and a few others. There is a cute little section for you to sit with your smoothies and snacks. It's a peaceful and welcoming little store that I hope to visit more often.“

They have many flavors and options to choose from. Chicken was ok. I got the spicy one but there wasn’t much spice behind it. However it was very fresh and hot temperature wise. Having curly fries as an option was really cool and nostalgic. I’d come back for the tea for sure especially when it gets warmer in the spring and summer.“
