“Food is good I like going there but the prices are deterring me. Their regular pies are $5 more than others and specialty pies are $10 more than others. Nothing to justify the price difference. Hope they can fix this as I want to continue to return.“
“I've never had pizza that tasted like it did ever before. It was almost novel at first, the sweetness of the pie. But as I kept eating, the bites got better and better. Our large pie was finished in about 10 minutes, maybe less! And the shrimp cocktail was on point too. Was easy to get a seat at the Lima bean shaped bar. It was fun to sit like that. It is one of those places whereby you might be having a difficult day only to have that change by the hospitality and quality of food. I always enjoy the pizza with sausage and anchovies as well as the Brooklyn pie which is also “heavenly”. The chicken parmigiana with linguine, garlic and oil alters your feeling state and makes you smile.It is delicious! “We came here on a Saturday night with a reservation for a group of 6. You enter through the pizza shop to get to the dining room and were promptly seated. Our server was excellent! She was very polite, friendly, did not mind repeating herself and was very patient with the elderly members of our group. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and everyone enjoyed their selection. Found a new gem with great prices plus BYOB. Only downside is the dining room gets a little loud. “This was a very spur decision after my work brought me down to Lakewood for the day. This was right where we parked our cars and got good Yelp reviews, so I figured let's walk over and take a look. As soon as I walked inside, I discovered it was still the 1970s. Very old-school place. Definitely not kosher like most Lakewood restaurants - this is right on the border and has dairy, meat, and very much non-kosher meats at that. Well, if that doesn't bother you, you will find that Red Moon offers great food. I actually got a sandwich instead of pizza and it came out with a perfect balance of cheese, great sauce, excellent crispy bread, piping hot. It's definitely made to order, because we had a few minutes to sit and, not really go over the project so much, but just chat with the owner. Very friendly guy. I don't know if I would believe this is "NY style" pizza, but it sure offers the goods for the sammies! If work brings me back, I may risk a slice to see if there's a fifth star hanging around.“

“Romeo’s is a name that is known in this area. There are like 5 places named Romeo’s and I am not sure if they are connected. This spot is an “italian kitchen” but looks like a normal pizzeria. It does have some table service and thats what we did. I tried the chicken bacon ranch slice and my wife had the bbq slice. The specialty slices are on the thicker side so 1 was good for each of us. We also tried a personal plain pie and it was good. We also tried the zucchini sticks which were nicely done and the boneless chicken tenders. We enjoyed our meal and the staff were very nice. “One of the better pizza places in Brick. A plain large pie is $15, unheard of when others cost $20. Their crust is light and thin and fresh dough.You can tell it’s old dough when the crust is so chewy and dry that you have to dunk it in ranch dressing, like Ampara on Route 88, which is hit or miss.Their garlic knots are wonderful, fresh and not dry, like New Corner in Red Bank or overly soaked in oil, like Chiafullo in Middletown. The accompanying sauce has flavor and not bland like most.Their pies actually have plenty of toppings. A pepperoni pizza actually has the whole pie covered with pepperoni so you don’t get just a slice on your slice like many others. Also their chicken pies are loaded with chicken, not sparsely spread like so many others.It’s not surprising that they have a line of tickets hanging on a Friday night.My new favorite pizza place when I don’t have the time to make my own. :)“
