“The bar tender was super involved with his customers and you can tell he cares. I forgot his name but I have never had a bar tender ask me if I wanted a cup of water until 2 days. The locals that come in are very relaxed and Nice to talk to. Drink prices are very fairly priced. They have one pool table and a small Foosball table. The one thing that could make this bar shine is if it had food to serve. Besides that I loved it. Must go to“

“A cool local pub that serves amongst other things, pork roll sanwiches. I had never had a pork roll and so on a whim was suggested to try The Pines Tavern and it was pretty good. The service was exceptional, super friendly staff behind the bar, which I always appreciate.“

“Wow!! Thank you Yelp!! We feel like we found a hidden gem!! But it's definitely not hidden. It was a pretty busy tavern. Service was wonderful! The food was delicious! The portions are huge!! I had the Country Chicken. So much flavor!! It is listed as spicy. You can request the level of heat. They add red pepper flakes. I asked for a little and it was perfect. My husband had the Spaghetti and Meatballs which is a Sunday special and enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this restaurant! We will definitely be back!“

“I had my Moms 87th birthday here at DACYS last week. WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME!! The food was delicious by Leon the chef . The waitresses were right on top of everything just wonderful, Chrissy our server & bartender went out of her way to even help us decorate. Steve the owner is an Awesome guy! “03.09.24Stopped for an early dinner. They were able to seat us right away. Ordered the pretzel appetizer. Pretzels were beautifully soft on the inside and had a lovely garlic butter and herb drizzle with a rich cheddar and ale dipping sauce. I ordered the fingers and dips, we also enjoyed the beef stroganoff, and the chicken and brie sandwich. All was served perfectly. The batter on my chicken was so crispy and the chicken was tender. The creamy Chipotle dip was my favorite. I also had the strawberry lemon drop martini. Easily one of top 5 martinis! Loved it! We finished with the chocolate peanut butter mousse. It was creamy and beautifully served. I would have preferred a stronger chocolate to peanut butter ratio. I also would have taken off the mixture of nuts, chocolate chips and Pretzels.Our server, Devon, was WONDERFUL!ALL in all - WORTH IT! Would definitely return!“

“Generally all is great. Made reservations to get a booth. (Way bad back) and when we got there they JUST gave it away. Then they tried to put us in a 2 top scrunched in the upstairs closer to the front windows. If you know the seats , there is no way we were sitting there. Walked out and went to the new place Bordentown Square. Which was very good. Been back there twice.“

“Phinney's is a great bar nice crowd and good menu I just think a bar like that and the kitchen should be connected and the cook shouldn't be a separate issue from the bar.... you should still have to order thru the cook because sometimes the bartender is busy too be taken orders“

“I called ahead to schedule a team lunch for our out of state hockey team (total of 36 people, about half were kids). They were extremely accommodating, quick to respond, and set up a plan to make sure we were able to order and pay for each family efficiently.I sent our orders in 24hrs in advance by family hockey number and when we arrived, everything went so smoothly!!! Pitchers of water were already on the tables, additional drink orders quickly taken, and food started to come quickly. “Great bar. My favorite place to chill and work via my laptop while I wait for my kids to finish practice. Staff is friendly and attentive. You can tell it is managed really well. Food is great. I recommend the chicken pot pie (Tuesday night special) and the Caesar salad with steak.“

“I'm a sucker for Dives lol. Higher-end bars, city rooftops and lounges all have their place, but so do local dive bars lol. Calm casual atmosphere, not smoky or anything inside. Plenty of pool tables and keno that locals play. I got breakfast. Eggs were great, and toast was perfect. Very reasonably priced. People weren't used to newbies coming in but were very friendly. It's a good place to try out if hiking the Canal Path!“
