I just give her a picture or a concept and she nails it every time! Some of my personal favs are the tres leche, funfetti carrot and champagne cake.“
“Can’t sing their praises high enough, the man and woman who work behind the counter here every day always know your order, greet you with a friendly good morning and treat everyone with respect. They work hard and obviously care about their customers. I even started learning some Albanian words and phrases to show the care and respect is mutual. Great coffee at good prices, good pastry and love the organic environmentally friendly soaps and other products too. They are a huge plus for the neighborhood.“

“This place is amazing! It's always clean, nice, and neat. They offer delicious options for desserts and grab-and-go meals. I love that they have a simple yet fulfilling menu. The atmosphere is super chill and totally worth it. My family and I love to grab a few pastries to take home, and now it has become our go-to gift store. Whenever we have an event or an office meeting, we travel all the way from New City to Englewood without hesitation.The only details that sometimes disappoints us is that at the end of the day, the staff's attitude or vibe is not as nice as in the mornings. We totally understand that it's the end of the day and they want to go home, but it would be great if they could maintain their friendly attitude throughout the day., and that it only opens at 8 am, so work commute to grab a coffee becomes hard. However, around 90% of our experiences there have been nice, and we look forward to visiting again soon“

Slow churned treats include several dairy and non dairy flavors (on a rotating basis), with just enough flavors to keep your taste buds wanting more. Never have we been disappointed. The staff are always friendly, and there is usually more than enough, even in the smallest sizes, to please your desires. If you have a big appetite (or a hungry partner), the cookie sandwich with freshly baked cookies and a massive helping of ice cream, is a favored order.“
“Wow, this place was incredible. They serve incredible French press coffee and have a large selection of expertly prepared Filipino desserts. We got a mango souffle, mango creme brulee, and the ube tiramisu. Each was so delicious and the textures were so smooth. They also serve hot food but we didn't order any.I highly recommend this place for cheap delicious treats.“

“I love this little Gem in town. I absolutely love this backery there isn't a thing I've tried that was not delicious. The chocolate cake was so moist and rich. And the Lemon coffee cake was amazing. The cookies are soft and fresh EVERY single time I've ordered them. But good luck scoring some they are so good they usually sell out early. This is definitely a must try.“

“Vegan baked goods??!! Let's give it a try. Dulce de leche - not too sweet at all, a good nutty flavor. Buttercream is not sweet and the cupcake itself is very moist Oreo - a bit dry on the outside, the buttercream has mashed up oreos in it, which doesn't make it creamy but with a crunchier texture. There isn't much of a chocolate taste. My least favorite Dark chocolate - the cupcake itself is on the dry side and less chocolate taste. The buttercream is smooth and a rich dark chocolate. Carrot cake - very moist and soft. You can see shaved pieces of carrots. I think it needs a pinch more of cinnamon. The cream cheese buttercream on top is on a sweeter side but really creamy. I didn't like the carrot decorations bc it's too much food coloring in it. Overall, I'm a fan of vegan cupcakes as it's not on the sweet side. There is a balanced ration of buttercream to cupcake. The chocolate cupcakes needs to be baked a bit less and need more chocolate taste.“

“Don't miss this jewel box of a bakeshop for celebrations both big and small! We ordered a lemon raspberry cake for a family celebration and it was such a big hit. Tall, elegant, and sprinkled with freeze-dried raspberries to hint at the flavor inside. It looked like the top tier of a wedding cake! Everyone was so impressed with it visually but once we tasted it, we all loved how moist and lemony it was. The guests were all raving about how balanced the buttercream was. The texture and sweetness was just right. The guest of honor even swiped some extra frosting off someone else's plate, which I've NEVER seen him do!In this day and age, everyone wants a cake that photographs beautifully. But sometimes a gorgeous cake will be too dry/dense or the frosting just tastes like colored butter. You never want a second piece. It really can be a lottery sometimes. But with this gorgeous, delectable cake we definitely hit the jackpot!Thank you, Carrie, for putting as much thought into the flavor as you did on the presentation. “It has been four weeks since our wedding and my mom is STILL talking about the cake. She stole three extra slices from the venue and had cake for breakfast three days in a row. I think she’ll be talking about this cake for the rest of my life. She might drive me crazy but…she’s right. The cake Luckybird made for our wedding was the best cake I’ve ever had. That’s not an exaggeration. It really was next level. We ordered a fully frosted chocolate cake with seasonal berries and crème fraiche, and it was simply divine. Sweet but not too sweet, decadent but still light, and totally addicting. I cannot tell you how many people have reached out to me specifically to compliment the cake!Besides her incredible skills as a baker, Amy is also a lovely person to work with. “I have nut allergies and am so so happy to have Baked Cravings!! The grab and go cake was perfect!! I waited too long to place a custom order and needed something that day. I added the option of birthday candles and then bought some strawberries to decorate it a bit. The flavor was rich but not too sweet. I think I actually prefer the taste of the cake not being completely iced and decorated!! It was a big hit with the party too. $60 for the cake and was able to get about 16 slices/servings from it. “This is going to by my weekly bubble tea spot. They were so friendly which is always a driving factor for a quality establishment for me. Price point was great. We only got teas today, but I can't wait to try some of their pastries. They looked beautiful and based on other people's reviews they're probably delicious. We got the brown sugar bubble milk tea and Passion fruit green tea with lychee popping boba and just look at that adorable little heart shaped tea stopper. I will be a frequent flyer here“

“Love this place ! Wish I knew about this place sooner honestly. The communication is 10/10 and the cakes were sooooo good, so soft and moist ! I'm a vegan and been a vegan my whole life and my family is really used to buying cakes from the same places and the cakes are never fancy looking, no designs nothing really with character, also sometimes very dry or hard or just straight up bland ! But this place omg !! Great all around love how they have different designs for vegan cakes and not just 1 ! I feel so inclusive for once by having a nice looking cake for my birthday & the pricing wasn't bad at all !!! I got a vintage pink heart cake for my birthday on January 19th and my lil sisters birthday was on the 23rd so we also got her a cake but it was a Valentine's Day cake turned into a birthday cake ! “I can't give Sans Bakery enough compliments! Their service and care about items shipped is better than anyone I have dealt with past present and probably future.My sister wanted to order a Lamington cakes for my birthday. Brian made sure I was shipped what my sister had ordered; the six individual cakes that are wrapped(I thought it was the cake). However, UPS in their divine wisdom, deemed it necessary to ship them on a scenic tour. They didn't arrive on time for my birthday but that was NO FAULT of the bakery's. I want that to be perfectly clear. I reached out to Brian and while I was disappointed that I wouldn't get them on time he was so kind and empathetic that I couldn't stay upset for long. Again, I thought it was the regular cake and not the individual ones. Brian said he would ship replacements but once I saw they were the individual ones and confirmed they were still fine to eat, I was happy, my sister was happy, all was well. But Brian wasn't having it, he was unhappy that UPS failed us both. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I received another box of the Lamington cakes! I was not expecting that. I was perfectly fine with the outcome but Brian again is an amazing person and he didn't appreciate that this was a representation of his bakery by UPS's failings. So now I have plenty of Lamington cakes and they are freezable so I put a few away so I can enjoy them later.As far as being true Lamington cake like the original in Australia, it took me right back to Adelaide where I had my very first one! Oh my goodness they're so good! And did I mention they're gluten-free?!I cannot thank Brian and Sans Bakery enough for making my Unbirthday amazing and tickling my palette enough that I sent pictures to my cousin in Melbourne Australia taunting her a little. “For my daughter's sweet 16, she insisted on a specific cake in a specific color and size. NYC Birthday Cakes made her dream come true! The order process was extremely easy and I was able to provide a swatch so that they could match the color as best as possible. (color matching fondant is not easy - I've made cakes myself but didn't have the time now) We only had 40 people and 4 layers (6:, 8", 10" & 12") would have been too much cake. So, they made the top layer and bottom layer with a cake form instead of cake. The two middle layers were red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the vanilla with chocolate mousse. They were absolutely delicious!! The cake was delivered to the venue on time and as promised. These are truly professionals and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a special cake! (FYI - we bought the topper on our own)“

“I highly recommend Goldelicious Cakes for custom cakes and cupcakes. Not only is Jennifer so skilled at baking, she is also thoughtful, friendly, and super easy to communicate with. For my son’s first birthday, she helped create the most memorable orange cake with coordinating cupcakes. Pick-up was easy breezy and the packaging was great and kept the baked goods perfectly in place for the hour drive back home. Jennifer’s creations were such a hit with our friends and family.
