Burger Restaurants near Frankford

“The place has a very comfortable, nostalgic country feel. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The plain Burger, ( no picture sorry) The Smokehouse Cheese Burger ( brisket, pulled pork, cheddar cheese, cole slaw, and an onion ring) and the Cowboy Cheese Steak (brisket, cheddar cheese,mac n cheese on a sour dough roll) I didn't eat. However I was told they were delicious. No one's plate had anything left on it.As for me, I had the Brisket entree. With a side of garlic mashed potatoes, collard greens w bacon tips, and a piece of cornbread. Also, I requested a side of gravy. It was great. Of exceptional note, was the smoked brisket. The smoke flavor was strong and rich but didn't over power the flavor of the cut of meat. This brisket was tender and extremely juicy!!! Not dry and withered as with many smoked meats I haven't enjoyed in the past. From other restaurants offering smoked meats on the menu.That brisket carried this would be a possible 4 star rating way above a five star review. YES!! IT WAS THAT GOOD!!!“

“We've been coming to this place since they first opened up, and let me tell you, we haven't been let down once! The food never fails to be scrumptious, the service is always top-notch and super welcoming, and the dishes are always served up in a jiffy.“

“On 2 May 2024 I decided to stop by at the Mountain House. I walked in and it is an amazing interior. It’s a bit of rustic, a little bit of industrial and very aesthetically pleasing. as I was meeting a friend there I obviously got there way too early so I sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice beer with some amazing fried pickles. Anybody that knows me knows my weakness is fried pickles and I have to say these are some of the best I’ve had in my almost 60 years. They were crispy and crunchy was spicy and I wish I would’ve gotten a couple more orders. When my friend arrived, we went out and sat by the lake. We both ordered the New York strip steak, which was cooked exactly the way we wanted it and came with a sauce and some onions and mushrooms on top. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of the mistake because as soon as it was put in front of me, I just dug in and started eating. It wasn’t until I was almost done that I said dang it. I should’ve taken a picture. The steak came with vegetables and potatoes. I’m going back to the mountain house to try the fish tacos and the tzatziki bowl. Those caught my eye, but I didn’t have enough room in my belly. And you can see from the picture I attached. It is a great view, and it was very peaceful and relaxing.“

“Hands down best omelettes in Sussex County. I'm a picky breakfast gal so for breakfast I almost exclusively have western omelettes and as such consider myself an expert - so go there and get one, you won't regret it. Their homefries are yummy too! I've heard great things about the pancakes and French toast so I'll definitely have to give that a try soon!“

“I've lived up in this area for going on 5yrs now and am so happy to see there opened again, as they are a 5 minute walk from my place. Tried them first the first time today and tho my expectations are always high, they did not fail to impress. Cup of coffee was immediately addressed as soon as I sat down, which is always nice-not having to wait. Coffee could be a bit better as I drink mine black, no sugar. Went nicely with the food, but normally I have 2 cups, but settled for just one. Waitress was very friendly without being overbearing. I was given ample time to read menu and make my decision. My order came out in the perfect amount of time and it was delicious I ordered an American cheese omelette with side of bacon and home fries (hf come with the omelette). No toast for me. Home fries were nicely done; crispy on the outside and tender and creamy inside. The omelette had just a wee bit too much cheese, but the omelette was light and fluffy and very near perfect. Bacon was cooked just right. The restaurant itself was warm and welcoming, with some historical accents, in the form of some antiques placed nicely throughout. Very clean with tables arranged and spaced well so as not to feel crowded. There are some seats in the window facing out with a nice wooden counter. Stepping up to pay, (which btw, was extremely reasonable) I noticed a lot of attractive desserts in the bright, clear glass case, so I purchased a blueberry turnover to go. Tho I don't know if they do much, if any baking on premises, it was fresh and scrumptious. I look forward to my next visit, as there are more items I wish to try here. A+“

“Got the classic and a special order cheesesteak with the Mac n cheese. Excellent bread. Excellent portions. Excellent prices. Super satisfied. One of the better cheesesteaks and Mac n cheese I had in a while. And I had to drive with it for 15 minutes and wasn’t soggy at all. Actually think the steam made it even better! Lol I will definitely be making my rounds frequently.“

“We wanted a cake with our cats photo on it. After about an hour waiting, it was determined it wasn't going to be possible. Chris, the young man helping us, kept checking with us during our wait. He showed us a gel icing likeness of our cat he did. After about an hour, we decided to go with the icing likeness, rather than the photo. It came out fantastic! Chris refused to charge us and just kept apologizing. We told We understood and didn't feel he needed to apologize. No matter how much we insisted, he would not take our money. That right there, is excellent customer service. We have always gone to DQ in Newton to get our ice cream cakes. After today, trust me, we will ALWAYS go to DQ in Newton! Thanks Chris! Fuzzy loved his cake!“

“The Barnyard is easily the pride of Branchville. I stopped in there last night and not only got great food but had amazing conversation with the staff. The place looks like it would have good food, and didn't disappoint.I will definitely make it my go to place whenever I am back there!“

“Fantastic restaurant hiding in Sparta NJ. They dry age their steaks and seafood on premises. The Ribeye Cap is cooked perfectly and delicious. Very friendly staff and fun environment. Great drink options including some great local beers. Absolutely worth a visit.“

“We were a party of 10, including 4 young kids, so placing the order was a bit chaotic. However the 2 female employees were extremely patient and fulfilled the order in a timely manner. Lucky for us we were the only people on line when we arrived. I had the Reese's blizzard which was great but having tasted my son's peanut butter pie blizzard I would definitely get that next time.“

“It was my daughter's birthday. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers. My grandson had the chicken quesadilla child's meal. Everything was very good, the waitress was friendly and offered great service.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere. My grandson watched as the waitresses walked by. The manager said hello to him as well.“
