“Their food is good, but the soda always has a salty taste to it. I dont live in the town, so i dont know if its the water supply. I understand some towns get salt in the supply.during the winter due to runoff from the roads, but this is all year round.“

“A great find on 517 My Wife and I were riding to Newton yesterday and passed the Lenape Lodge. We have passed by numerous times and figured we would stop in. This was the best thing we have done in along time. The place is cute inside with plenty of friendly regulars inside. We started with the Buffalo wings (bone in ) of course and they were excellent with a great Blue Cheese and celery accompaniment. Next we both had the steamers , a generous portion in a sauce worthy of the garlic bread that was served with it. Loaded with flavors, ready to be soaked up with the breaded. A regular told me to try the mussels and they were fabulous as well. Black mussels in a green sauce excellent. My Wife ordered the Grill Blackened Salmon and it was to die for. My wife and I are both food snobs as we come from families that are in the food business all prime and top of their class. The bartenders were friendly and the Chef is fantastic. I saw large burgers come out with homemade potato chips on the plate as well as other fabulous looking meals. Friends have been in for the ala carte brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it.Before we left we met with one of the owners Mindy McQuaid and were filled in on Taco Tuesdays and some of the specials as well. Tim & Mindy McQuaid are both working hard at this business post covid to be on top. They hoping to get approvals for a deck outside over looking Lake Lenape soon. “Hands down best omelettes in Sussex County. I'm a picky breakfast gal so for breakfast I almost exclusively have western omelettes and as such consider myself an expert - so go there and get one, you won't regret it. Their homefries are yummy too! I've heard great things about the pancakes and French toast so I'll definitely have to give that a try soon!“

“I past but this place very often and it always catches my eyes, because of it's unique A-frame log cabin look. Also, that it has a sign that says 'Drive-Thru' and next to it is another sign that says 'We Sell Beer'...always shake my head and have a chuckle!! One day decided to pop in and grab a dog. The inside is a bit odd, as the outside. The interior decor is a mashup of ski log cabin, a diner, and a hot dog stand...hilarious!! The staff at the counter was friendly and patiently waited for me to decide on what I wanted...breakfast or lunch...brunch times are the toughest!! Their menu board is larger than expected, also they serve breakfast all day. So, I got the breakfast sandwich to go and a hotdog with fries and a shake to eat in. The food was ok, a little pricey for average size portions. The staff was nice as they brought the food to the table. As I was sitting there looking around, taking in the unique decor once again. Not saying it's bad, just needs a few things updated. One area I enjoyed looking at...was a display case with the owner's father U.S. Army service jacket from WWII with a couple of his medals, photos, and letters. Definitely respect and appreciated that display of that history. One day I would like to come back to help them update that display case.“

“Apart from the fact that the food was amazing, the customer service was phenomenal!! My server was Juan, an extremely friendly young man who got us everything fast and was always attentive. Customer service is one of my biggest factors when picking a restaurant, and this IHOP in Kenvil, NJ was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. My family and I will most definitely be returning. “While I do like this location and staff, the food quality for mcdonald's in general has to improve. Fries were fresh and probably the best part of my meal. Chicken nuggets tasted like breaded chewing gum. I had a quarter pounder and it was so flavorless that it tasted like cardboard not even extra ketchup helped the patty which by the way looked like a cheeseburger patty. Nothing quarter pound about it. Will be back for the fries though.“
“Lakeside tavern is a great place to go! The bartenders are amazing. Michele is my favorite to visit every time I go. The line dancing every week is so much fun! It’s great when they have entertainment. They really should charge a cover charge because you’re getting a lot.
