“I just happened to be here for work reasons. I noticed the level of attention towards customers. Immediately greeting all who walk in the door. Very personable. Each interaction seemed like an old friend visiting. I was fortunate enough to try the cheese steak. Why this wasn't on a top 10 list for best cheese steak in South Jersey is beyond me but they surely have my vote. If anybody asks me where to get a good cheese steak you know my answer.”

“This is my favorite place to come for takeout, I probably visit way too often but the butter chicken is SO good and they have great prices, a ton of variety (the krispy krunchy chicken is always good and so are the sandwiches!), and they are really nice! Would recommend!”

“Food was delicious! Atmosphere is so cute and quaint. I will say, our server was very nice but we're pretty sure he forgot to put in our entrees. Our appetizer came out in a timely manner, but it took a good 45mins for our entrees to come out after we finished our app. It was busy and he had 2 large parties so I understand and and giving him grace. I'm also a server at a different restaurant so I totally understand it's a lot to juggle at once. Definitely will come back to eat here!”

“I've been here a few times, it's a fun place to bring people because of the whole speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so it's hit or miss if you can actually get in. Drinks are hit or miss for me too. Over time I've done drinks from the menu and the bartenders choice. I know it sounds silly but I really dislike the ice they use! It's like ice chips which cheapens the drinks, which seems to go against the suave swanky vibe. I got the pickle mule this time though and really liked it.”

“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.”

“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!”

“This restaurant is located on East Passyunk in South Philly. I love the ambiance and service was great. Meat and veggie platter was delicious. The platter also came with pizza dough which was surprisingly really good. I am also currently obsessed with their gnocchi, it has the perfect texture and the sauce was amazing. Will definitely come back!”

“My wife and I came here before a musical at the Kimmel center. She decided on it based off of good reviews found on Google and Yelp. We were not disappointed! Parking was a little tough but it didn’t take long to find a close spot. The neighborhood looked decent, unlike most other areas of the city where I feel like my car will be broken into for spare change.The lattes were delicious. They came to us hot, which can be hard to find surprisingly. I ordered the Shawarma, which came with steak, rice, pita, sweet potato fries, and scrambled eggs. She ordered the Entrecôte omelet. The potatoes were amazing. We also split an order of the Baklawa pancakes. Everything was delicious. The avocado tartar spread on my plate went so well with the rice and eggs. We would definitely like to come back here!”

The burrata and focaccia was a delightful favourite.The Caesar salad was overdressed and the croutons were too hard for my preference. The pepperoni pasta was exactly that - not the worst but it was something I'd make drunk in my kitchen at 3 am. Fries were meh.A solid 4 on the food front. Go just for the decor alone, feeling like I was in an 80s golf clubhouse. The pool table is cute and fun too.”
