“My husband and I love this place. We used to live around the block and even though we moved, we will still make the drive back to GP's for the amazing food. I always get the chicken parm, while the hubs likes to switch it up. We always enjoy our meal, the sauce is so good! The salad is also amazing, I don't know what they put on it, maybe the cheese? or the oil & vinegar? I don't know, but the salad is amazing. It's a classic NJ Italian spot, small, cozy, amazing food, and the same friendly waiter is always there all these years :). It's definitely a special spot. We aren't big drinkers so I can't say myself but the bar also often looks pretty hopping!“
“The food was amazing; in my opinion, the large, cheesy pizza tasted almost exactly like heaven. It was styled in the New York way. We walked to the pizza place in about three to five minutes, and the staff was prompt in preparing our pizza, so we were out of there in under five. The people were likewise largely typical. I adored how they preserved the ambiance and setting in keeping with the Italians' arrival ages ago.“
“Recovery is tough, but I do think that this center set me on the right road and I'm forever grateful. From the admissions process, to speaking with an admissions coordinator;.. to the discharge and process of moving into halfway this place made every move comfortable for me. Thank you staff for giving me my life back, eternally grateful!“
“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“
“We really enjoyed our experience at Kimika. The cocktails were amazing - unique with great flavors. I loved the kaga milk punch, shishitorita and the unami in kenmare.Dishes are a fusion of Japanese flavors in Italian style dishes, such as the sticky rice arancini served on a Japanese curry sauce. Other menu highlights were the tuna tartare, hamachi collar, truffle carbonara, rigatoni, and the steak.Dont miss the yakult soft serve for dessert!Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We were seated in a back room which felt private with so much space on the large tables.“
“Food was incredible, but the service wasn’t the greatest. Our first waiter was lackluster, but the second waiter was great. Also the receptionist was a bit rude. Other than that, I’m still thinking about the espresso martini and oysters - they’re amazing!“
“Tried the TikTok viral restaurant. It used to be a Michelin one-star in 2021 and 2022. Although it has lost its Michelin star last year, I still think it’s my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC so far. Had a fantastic experience here! The salad turned out to be a game-changer. As someone who typically shies away from salads, Don Angie's version won me over with its unique flavors and freshness. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence.Don Angie lived up to its viral acclaim. My friend and I walked in at 9:15 pm, and we got seated in 20 minutes!! Strongly recommend this way of dining.“
“Tie-Dye is quite possibly the best pizza I have had in NYC and I've had a lot. Clams...fantastic. Any of the pastas are awesome. We loved the Lumache with vodka sauce. Stuffed artichoke might choke Artie but it ain't gonna choke Stymie. Service was great. We were given a wait time of 1h 15 to 1h 30 and it ended up being 1h 15 on a Saturday around 1pm. Perfect amount of time to stroll around the neighborhood and check out Godfather location sites. Don Corleone and Pete Clemenza would love Rubirosa. They have many offerings you can't refuse.“
“Simply the best every single time we go! Super friendly with kids, outdoor backyard spaces, beautiful, and feels inside but open… And the pasta is amazing.I’m still remembering the mushroom special pasta I got months ago. Also, the wine list is great and good price points for quality.“
“I wish I had found Bella Trattoria sooner! My wife and I have been trying to find some 'go to' dinner spots since moving to the east coast, and I can confidently say we found a keeper. The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for a date night or a nice family outing and you'll absolutely find something on the menu for everyone. We started with the calamari fra diavolo and the sauce had the perfect amount of spice to it. The main course obviously had to be some pizza but we couldn't decide on one so we tried the veggie and the salsiccia. You guys...they were amazing! The crust was just right and there was plenty to take home for late night snacks. All I can say is I can't wait to go back“
