“Went Easter Sunday. Table was ready when we got there. Our server 'Alex' - she was the best. Kept an eye on us to see if we needed anything. Food absolutely out of this world Nicely spaced between appetizers and main meal. Gave us time to digest. Absolutely must come here.“

“This joint was jumping on a Friday at 6:30. We would have been turned away without a reservation. The pork chop scarpariello, short ribs and filet were excellent entrees. This was a birthday celebration, which is why we went a bit high-end. This venue at this time of night might be a bit noisy for some , but no complaints here - just an excellent meal!“

“What a nice spot. Good fare and great service. The place was hopping on good Friday. I had mahi mahi tacos they were above average. Gluten free options which made me happy.Dietary restrictions: Gf buns for burgers available, and corn tortillas upon request. I wasn't sure about the black bean burger. So I steered clear.“

“We came here with a party of eight plus a 7 yr old child. The restaurant was clean and had something on the menu for everyone. The service was amazing. Jason was fantastic as well as the chef and his wife who's the co-owner.The food was flavorful and not over seasoned like what you'd find in chain restaurants. We ordered wings (extra crispy) for appetizers and we ended up ordering some to go-they were very good. The chef (Bishop) came out to say hello and he was so warm and delightful. This is a hidden gem and we'll definitely be coming back again soon!“

“Hadn't been there for years. We had a satisfactory experience but not as good as we had hoped. The menu choices were rather limited. My husband's entre was very nice but my salmon dish was lack luster and bland. Herbs and spices were missing. The service was very good and hopefully with the introduction of some more interesting entrees, we would be more enthusiastic about Acacia. We definitely will try them again.“

“I was interested in trying a traditional Philadelphia Cheesesteak....they serve exactly what I was looking for. The meat was good the cheese to meat portion was good, and all melted in there..my only complaint was the serving size was way to big...a half of sandwich was all I could eat..being so large, the price like the sandwich was 2 x too high.. They serve bottled Birch Root beer, which is excellent.“

“Great small down cafe. All of the options (although limited) are great and definitely worth coming back for. Waitresses are relatively attentive, but there is often quite a lot of traffic in and out. There may be a short wait for seating depending on when you arrive.“

“First I would like to acknowledge our waiter, Joshua B. He was such a pleasure and so attentive and personable. The recommendations were great and his personality was an experience in itself. The manager was also amazing and my only regret was not getting his name. Now let’s get into the food…EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING prepared was delicious. The tuna tartare and lobster bites were my absolute favorite apps. The entrees were phenomenal. I have the surf and turf and my wife had the cowboy with the lobster and cherry pepper topping and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely and the drinks ESPECIALLY THE POMEGRANATE SPRITZ and Pomegranate Sangria …AMAZING !“

“We had a long wait to get a server to come by. My wife went to look for someone to make sure we hadn't been forgotten. The manager came by and apologized for the wait, blaming himself for the delay. He offered us a free appetizer for waiting which was nice. The food is always good but atmosphere is just so-so. I don't think the place has been updated in 20 years, so it's due.“

“Just recently we celebrated our daughter’s bridal shower at the Americana Kitchen and Bar. I can’t express how impressed I was with everything. From the staff being so kind, friendly and attentive. The food, the artisanal bread basket the delicious elegantly plated entrées, the dessert was so beautiful and delicious. The cake was made exactly as my inspiration photos. The ambience of the live jazz band playing in the background was superb! If you looking to book your next event and impress your guests don’t look no further. Call Americana Kitchen and Bar and speak to Athena.“

“Excellent experience. My wife and I went there as a belated Valentine's day treat for ourselves and did the 17 course tasting menu. We also sprung for the wine pairing. I think 16/17 dishes were excellent and there was only one that was "just ok". Wine pairing was excellent and pours were generous. My only advice would be to pace yourself, don't need to eat and drink everything! A little expensive but worth it for what you get.“

“First good points. Chicken is wonderful. Juicy and tasty. The ribs are excellent. Smokey and tender. The less than stellar is their potato salad. Tastes and look like it's from US Foods. Tasteless and overall not good. Lastly just check your bag. Last time I asked for macaroni salad and got coleslaw.Overall very good ?“

“I've stopped in here a few times with my partner and teen for breakfast. It's a simple little place for breakfast or lunch doesn't try to add a lot of frills. The place is typically busy whenever we've gone, which I don't prefer, but is indicative of the quality in this case. While my partner has only ever ordered the fish and chips, I try something new more often than not. Everything from the above mentioned fish and chips, to the burgers, to the eggs, to their chicken and waffles have all been delicious so far, and I look forward to slowly exploring the rest of the menu.“

“Awesome place to have a drink and some great food. Chris the bartender was awesome! He suggested a few of his favorite items on the menu and he did not disappoint. We had a personal pizza and the 50/50 Firecracker shrimp and Calamari. We will definitely be back again.“

“Witherspoon Grill was amazing. We were greeted by our server within seconds of sitting down. He took excellent care of us, from talking about the daily specials to ensuring our drinks were topped off. The food was simply amazing. I had the fresh caught cod with a lemon beurre blanc sauce and the house salad. 10/10 will hopefully be back soon!“

“This is my second visit to The Dinky Bar and Grill in Princeton which offers great views of the campus. We were going to see a play at McCarter and it is so convenient being across the street. The Dinky has an intimate vibe. Being the original Train Depot the feel of the place is still a train depot which I love. The menu is limited but certainly enough to choose from. There are shareable plates as well full entrees. Very good food and drinks. Our server Kayla was amazing. She needs to be recognized because she was extraordinary. A very busy place pre theater but Kayla never stopped smiling Great experience all around. Will definitely be going again.“

“We both very much enjoyed our meal at the Roadhouse. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and our sides were delicious as well. The only issue was the Caesar salad because it was under dressed. It was practically dry. Other than that, we enjoyed our dinner.“

“I went in today for lunch with a good friend who is fighting cancer and haven't seen in a long time. Her stomache is very fickle and she did amazingly well with the food. It's definitely leaning towards fine dining. Linen table cloths, linen knapkins, polished silverware, white glove service without the gloves. Our sever observed us without being intrusive. He only served the next dished when we stopped eating the first one. If you're accustomed to being entertained by your server, this is not for you. If you value uninterrupted time spent with your guest while still not being neglected, this is for you. I actually like it when the server is vigilant but not overbearing. I want to enjoy the food, take in the atmosphere and speak with my friend, and our server allowed us to just be present. We never had to ask for anything. It was brought out at the right time, our needs were anticipated and we were greeted by Chef Jason, who greeted every table. I recommend the truffle oil fries, beet salad and hand held chicken pesto. The presentation of all three dishes was beautiful. Thank you so much. It was a really good experience.“

“So this is a hard review for me, I live very close (currently). Their wings are phenomenal for the price and the kitchen is open till 10pm. I came in at 9:30 after a late night and the wings were just as good. Wings 5 stars, the rest is 3.5 stars. Atmosphere is not for everyone but a good time and the regulars are very nice. Free shuffle board and a few bucks for pool. It is definitely worth trying on a Wednesday or a late Friday or Saturday night as they are open late and know how to party. I’ve come on quiet Sundays and middle of the week, all was well there too. It’s a solid 4 stars overall and that is a brutal review for a place I truly love. **edit** alcohol is relatively cheap. Mixed drinks could use some work but lots of options. I got 8 wings and a miller draft for $9.89 (03/2024)“

“One of our “go to” restaurants/bars. Mistral offers a unique blend of American cuisine infused with a touch of ethnic flavors. “My husband and I have had breakfast here a few times, always good, so we tried dinner last night. We both ordered the 12oz. strip steak and I like mine rare and he likes his well done and they were both cooked perfectly! The meal also included a baked potato and green beans. I love the food! The prices are reasonable and I can't wait to try their lunch. So happy we discovered this place!!“

“It wasn't too busy when I went. Actually, it was well after lunch. They seated me right away and brought my drink out immediately after taking my order. Service was good, and the food was even better. Didn't take long for them to serve me. Waitress kept checking in with me, as one should expect. I highly recommend this establishment for those of you looking for place of comfort as you dine with friends, family, or casual encounters with coworkers.“

“Amazing food, everything we ordered was truly delicious. One of the best meals I’ve had in a very very long time. Honestly was shocked to find such a high caliber of food in a small town like Hightstown. better than any restaurant we’ve been to in Princeton and new hope for sure, and rivals many in Philly NYC Boston and beyond. Can’t wait to return. Love that it’s a totally unassuming spir while still very charming inside plus lots of options for all sorts of diets, very inventive menu and farm to table as well!“

“The food is really good they have a standard gastropub type menu and then a seasonal menu on rotation the chef mixes up. Very large bar area that can get quite busy. Many craft beers on tap and they offer flights. There are tvs in the bar area for sports and a space for live music. Parking is adjacent to the restaurant never had an issue finding a spot. In the summer there is a larger outdoor seating area“

“What a gem of a place in the Plainsboro area (which doesn’t have many bars to begin with). Good food, great prices, amazing service, clean. No super loud music means you can actually talk with the people at your table. Great place to chill out after a long day or work.“

“This place is amazing! It used to be on the main drag many years ago, but somehow it lasted over the years. It has great food and super friendly staff. We went in there and I told them that we have never been here before. The server walked us through all the items on the menu and was very friendly. On the menu they have interesting items that you would not expect at a diner. I had a cajon dish that had crab and eggs. It was great. There are a lot more options too.Inside the restaurant it is still decorated in the old 1950s style. It has cast aluminum fixtures including doors and trim along the bar. It has classic styling that has years of use, but the restaurant is still clean and in good condition. In one of my photos notice the old table top and the old plastic leather chairs from the 1950s. It is really neat to see this all still in use today.Parking: The parking lot is large and has room to turn around.“

“Had brunch here with friends. Very cute place, and the food and drinks were tasty. The server was nice as well. Main reason for not 5 stars is that the tables are small (so takes some shuffling of plates if in a group) and are so close you overhear the conversations of every table around you, and they hear yours. Not ideal for a gossipy girl brunch or flirty dates, but otherwise we really enjoyed the experience. Would eat here again for sure - I had the scallops and they were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right.“

“We always enjoy dinner here. I had a piece of salmon with brown rice which was delicious but I thought didn't LOOK amazing. My dining companions all enjoyed their meals too.The atmosphere is rustic elegance with exposed rock and earthy tones. When it's crowded it can be very difficult to hear the conversation at the dinner table.Vegetarian options: Veg is not the reason to go, but if you're going there is at least a pasta dish.“

New owner has the Place so Friggin clean! Noticebly Different!! Same old Pat's dont get it mixed up. I couldn't see a spec of dust in the place, counters sparkling, glass shining, floors you can eat off of, super clean kitchen from where my girl and I were sitting. Most Important, the food was "Mind Blowingly Fresh, homemade to order, pot roast special completew/ soup to salad 2 vegetables and desert included and The BestCorn beef Reuben Ive ever eaten in My Life !!!! Seriously, UnFriggin Believable. I got up from my table to introduce myself to the female owner and she was super nice soft spoken n seemed very humble. The thing I took notice to was her attention in overseeing the running of the Diner. There seemed to be a general level of respect between the staff and owner which is rather rare to witness and feel when youre in a business today. We didn't feel rushed at all to get the table " Turned Over" and thoroughly appreciated that. Im taking the time to explain this experience to those of you that are blessed to have taken your time to read it because I think its so very very crucial to our existence to know that there are people and places Still in Existence Today that show up and are of service to other still doing it with Dignity Respect and Honor. I wont do a comparison to the few surrounding diner's Because I dont need to. Visit Pat's Diner on South Broad Street and see for yourself precisely what I Described and I'm ? that you'll have yourself a "New Diner" you can Thank me when you see me there - One of them BurgerBits“

“This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. A short walk away from Princeton University and all of the shopping of downtown. The heated floors in the bathroom were a huge plus for this southerner. The beds were extremely comfortable, as well as the pillows. The continental breakfast was delicious, especially the blueberry muffins. “Since the Plandemic, OLT has been following Murphy's EO (not law) to the "T".They also made major permanent improvements to the bar;1) A large outdoor seating area with an enclosed fence.2) Wireless pay for the pool tables ($1.00 for one game or $3.00 for 30 minutes). There are no house cues anymore because shady customers were stealing them. You must bring your own. HOWEVER, pool tables are ONLY available for APA players & paying customers.3) You can only run a tab if you use a credit card.“

“Stopped at Gaetanos this afternoon for lunch while working in the area. Read some reviews and was surprised with the number of 1 star reviews! Maybe I made a mistake coming here? Well, I definitely did not!!! The service was perfect. And most important....the cheesesteak was amazing!!!! I ordered the "small", which is actually a pretty large sandwich. I normally don't eat everything I order in one sitting, but I devoured this entire sandwich in my work truck while traveling to my next job!!! I had a nice conversation with the owner, who I found to be a very personable, very nice and very serious small business owner. To those morons that review with low ratings for customer service.....complete liars. To the other low star raters.....move the f out of jersey and go to California with the rest of the fruits and nuts! Gaetanos will def be my go to spot anytime I am in the hamilton area!!!“
