My hometown, family owned and operated Carvel. It's our go to for ice cream cakes and after dinner sundaes for 25 plus years. It feels good to give your money and business to local places although it's still franchised. Don't buy from Acme you only get the freshest ice cream cakes from this spot.

While I would have given a 5 star I was a little disappointed when I asked for a cookie butter flying saucer. I wanted 1 and when I asked they told me they couldn't make them. As there is ice cream and cookie right in the case. I had no need for a 6 pack of them. Seemed odd that a scoop or 2 on a cookie and then another on top was an impossible task. However staff was as always very nice and not their fault per say no sure if they are told not to make them to force people to buy...read full review
