“The dolgana latte was a good blend of honey and coffee. The pumping spice really tasted like it should be and is earthy and doesn't taste artificial. My favorite was the sugar free vanilla latte. It was a good blend of sweet and again it didn't taste artificial.“

“Love the milk teas here! I always get one when I'm at this mall. (I think there was a different bubble tea shop here before but no matter, they're both really good.) Taro or brown sugar milk teas with boba are my usual tried & trues, but I had a lavender milk tea with lychee jelly recently and it's fantastic! The lavender is subtle and the jelly is ambrosial. Sounds like a bizarre combination but it works! They also do fruit teas and slushies. Would love it if they add rose tea in the future. There is only one size and it's large - the cup quality is nice, not the flimsy kind of flexible plastic that are used at so many bubble tea places. I can actually keep it and reuse. Service was quick and very friendly. I didn't get the name of the girl who took my order but she was lovely. The location is on the 1st floor of the hall section connecting the main mall area to Nickelodeon Universe.“

“Since we randomly visited any cheesecake place, we didn’t expect the cafe. But the cheesecake was good.For me, their waffle was the best because it was very fluffy and chewy. The waffle gave me quite a rare experience and I loved it.Even though I do not recommend visiting here just to come here, if you go by here by any chance, you should try the cafe. Enjoy the rare waffle and small and cute interior.“

“I selfishly want to keep this place a little secret, but I know it's not right to do and so I must share my thoughts and quick review so that you may enjoy it too. My go-to coffee is usually black and nothing else. Instead I opted to try their "Hot Chai latte"and a choice of oat milk, half/half and milk and other options. I went with the half/half and It was absolutely delicious. Groundwork's Cafe is just the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself with their many food and drink options. The energy and vibe is exactly what I like to surround myself in. The cafe is extremely clean all around!!!! The staff members are beyond friendly and welcoming. There's off street meter parking and town meter parking lots within a short walking distance. What I ordered: Hot chai latte Chicken Colombian empanadas A small cup of Tomato Soup I LOVED IT ALL! My NEW FAVORITE PLACE and I'm looking forward to going back.“

The boba was cooked and sweetened perfectly, and the tea and almond flavor were top notch So, when I dropped my bubble tea while getting out of my car after arriving home, I was devastated. It was a tragedy! I could feel the tea soaking into my shoes as I imagined sad violin music playing in the distance. The boba is freezing on my driveway as we speak. I drove back to the store because I don’t live too far away, and because my drink was THAT GOOD! The restaurant is very clean and organized as it is a new restaurant in Newark. The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite in particular there is the walnut shrimp, a creamy sauce covered over delicious shrimp. I’m generally not a fan of bubble tea but this place has changed my mind with the awesome Crème Brûlée Boba Tea! Great place to eat!“
“Tasty food with lots of choices for the whole family. We did takeout for 5 items: --Wok Fried Noodles - bouncy and satisfying! --Bao Sampler Platter - Really good, especially with chili oil! This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)“

The bubble teas served at Rui Tea are not overwhelmingly sweet. While pricey, this place is one of two bubble tea places in my/the neighborhood that I'm aware of, so I think with few options, the prices are justifiable. Their offerings are really really good. And tasty! So far I've tried their mango slush, pandan dessert drink, and honeydew boba. All were exceptionally flavorful and none tasted artificial. The boba was a nice consistency, too. No hard bits. They also had Asian-flavored ice creams (which they source from an Asian owned vendor). The ube cheese flavor was DELICIOUS. Don't be fooled by the cheese flavor--it works and it's a common Filipino dessert flavor. There's a cute little seating area, too! We're looking forward to trying more drinks and ice cream flavors!“

“FINALLY a solid taqueria within walking distance! We got chorizo and carnitas tacos - both excellent. Carnitas had a deep, meaty flavor, chorizo was flavorful. Green salsa was awesome, red salsa was a nice heat but not as much flavor. Got a lime cucumber agua fresca too, refreshing and not too sweet. There's only 3 tacos to an order (double tortilla) so they're not cheap, but it's enough food. The restaurant itself looks pretty nice - clean, bright, nicely decorated. We'll 100% be back.“

Do to covid restrictions they still have in place you cant watch them make the ice cream like you used to but you can see the "magic" from a distance. Place looks clean.
