“I selfishly want to keep this place a little secret, but I know it's not right to do and so I must share my thoughts and quick review so that you may enjoy it too. My go-to coffee is usually black and nothing else. Instead I opted to try their "Hot Chai latte"and a choice of oat milk, half/half and milk and other options. I went with the half/half and It was absolutely delicious. Groundwork's Cafe is just the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself with their many food and drink options. The energy and vibe is exactly what I like to surround myself in. The cafe is extremely clean all around!!!! The staff members are beyond friendly and welcoming. There's off street meter parking and town meter parking lots within a short walking distance. What I ordered: Hot chai latte Chicken Colombian empanadas A small cup of Tomato Soup I LOVED IT ALL! My NEW FAVORITE PLACE and I'm looking forward to going back.“
“Employees were very friendly :) they are have many selections on their menu. I ended up getting the Mango cream cheese drink. And I also got a chocolate mocha donut with chocolate rice crispy on top. It was soft and delicious definitely coming back. They also give you a little card for everytime you visit they stamp it and on your 10th visit you get the drink for free.“

My favorite tea is and always has been the Taro milk tea with grass jelly. They have a few board games and it is an inviting vibe. My adult children get everything from Passion Fruit and Green Tea. Sometimes the slushy type of drinks. It's always pretty good and I believe it is up to par with the Montclair location.“

“Love the milk teas here! I always get one when I'm at this mall. (I think there was a different bubble tea shop here before but no matter, they're both really good.) Taro or brown sugar milk teas with boba are my usual tried & trues, but I had a lavender milk tea with lychee jelly recently and it's fantastic! The lavender is subtle and the jelly is ambrosial. Sounds like a bizarre combination but it works! They also do fruit teas and slushies. Would love it if they add rose tea in the future. There is only one size and it's large - the cup quality is nice, not the flimsy kind of flexible plastic that are used at so many bubble tea places. I can actually keep it and reuse. Service was quick and very friendly. I didn't get the name of the girl who took my order but she was lovely. The location is on the 1st floor of the hall section connecting the main mall area to Nickelodeon Universe.“
“The owner is super professional and nice to people, all their dishes are authentic from northeast to southwest China. The restaurant decorated warm and beautiful, makes you feel at home dinning room. If you are a MU fan then would get a surprise gift.“

“We moved from Fort Lee to Carlstadt area a year ago and struggled to find good Korean Fried Chicken nearby. Tried this today and it’s delicious! Family owned and very authentic to me. It came with a large serving of Coleslaw for my 20 pcs wing order. Crispy and saucy but doesn’t feel greasy. We will definitely be coming back whenever we want KFC!“
“I worked with Ma’s Tea House for a corporate event. Initially we wanted them to come on site at our NYC office location at make fresh bubble tea as people came into the office, which they do offer, but the building had a lot of specific requests which made it difficult to coordinate. We ended up deciding to switch to a delivery of 100 bubble teas in the morning for my event that same afternoon. From start to finish, they were very easy to work with and responsive. I stopped by the shop and Justin worked with me to decide on what would be best for delivery and what flavors would be good options. I even requested they add my company’s stickers to the cups along with their own and they did. Delivery was a little tough (but that was due to the location of the office in midtown, police officers not allowing vehicles to stop, etc.) but we eventually found each other for delivery and they helped bring the bubble teas into the building within the delivery time discussed.As for the bubble teas during the event, we decided on 50 white peach rose with strawberry popping boba and 50 passion fruit with mango popping boba. They were a HUGE hit and mostly gone within the hour from the start of the event which we didn’t expect. We were anticipating some leftovers by the end of the day, but in the end, there were none.Pricing was reasonable and comparable to other quotes that we received. Brian was great to work with. We would look to work with them again in the future!“

“I really love this place. The ice cream is made to order and its done quickly. Do to covid restrictions they still have in place you cant watch them make the ice cream like you used to but you can see the "magic" from a distance. Place looks clean. Only thing is thats a minor inconvenience is the tenants upstairs have ACs that drip directly in front of the door way.“
“I've only discovered Rui Tea a couple of months ago; it is a new and welcome addition to the neighborhood. It is a tiny, clean and cozy spot. The bubble teas served at Rui Tea are not overwhelmingly sweet. I chatted with the manager who told me that they use fruit and other natural ingredients whenever possible and try to stay away from added sugar. What's not to like?“
“Well first off I’d like to say that I’ve visited many Chinese service food establishments in my time. And without question Moge Tee is one of the finer ones. The restaurant is very clean and organized as it is a new restaurant in Newark. The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite in particular there is the walnut shrimp, a creamy sauce covered over delicious shrimp. I’m generally not a fan of bubble tea but this place has changed my mind with the awesome Crème Brûlée Boba Tea! Great place to eat!“

The waitress was nice and speak much English but she knew what I wanted. I ordered the combo with ramen soup & teriyaki chicken. It came with white rice.. I was very hungry so I ate everything. I love the broth of the soup. It’s very delicious. It was cold last night so this really hit the spot. They have plenty of parking and Plenty of seats. “I thought at first I wrote I lackluster review for this place because of their prices, but I'm glad I didn't have to eat my words. While pricey, this place is one of two bubble tea places in my/the neighborhood that I'm aware of, so I think with few options, the prices are justifiable. Their offerings are really really good. And tasty! So far I've tried their mango slush, pandan dessert drink, and honeydew boba. All were exceptionally flavorful and none tasted artificial. The boba was a nice consistency, too. No hard bits. They also had Asian-flavored ice creams (which they source from an Asian owned vendor). The ube cheese flavor was DELICIOUS. Don't be fooled by the cheese flavor--it works and it's a common Filipino dessert flavor. There's a cute little seating area, too! We're looking forward to trying more drinks and ice cream flavors!“

“They are so much more than your average icecream shop, not only do they have bubble tea (which isn't always easy to come by) they have delicious and unique flavors of rolled icecream they prepare fresh. You can tell how much they care about what they are preparing, if the fruit for something they have isn't ripe yet, though they might have the fruit, they let you know so you're not just eating any bland fruits. And they have constantly been trying new flavors and creations of this delicious rolled ice cream. They prepare it right there in front of you. The icecream isn't the only thing making this place amazing, but also the huge variety of bubble tea flavors. Even with different types of boba, and they even have the new craze of the cheese foam varieties! There are some place that make bubble tea really watery or just plain gross, but this place makes it the best I've ever had. I didn't even use to have the tapioca boba pearls untill I had it here, its just so fresh, sometimes it is even still warm in my drink because they are constantly making new fresh batches. They even started serving Acai bowls, which also taste incredible here. I highly recommend this place, it is honestly the best newest thing to happen to Kearny.“

Other budget ramen shops tend to forgo having many ingredients inside like Nama Noodle bar, so I prefer coming here when I feel like having a bowl, however rare that may be.Like I said, I'm very routine and very happy to have Nama Noodle Bar in my routine! “FINALLY a solid taqueria within walking distance! We got chorizo and carnitas tacos - both excellent. Carnitas had a deep, meaty flavor, chorizo was flavorful. Green salsa was awesome, red salsa was a nice heat but not as much flavor. Got a lime cucumber agua fresca too, refreshing and not too sweet. There's only 3 tacos to an order (double tortilla) so they're not cheap, but it's enough food. The restaurant itself looks pretty nice - clean, bright, nicely decorated. We'll 100% be back.“

Counter order-taker was friendly and cheerful. Food came out within 5 minutes and I sat at a table in the window. Was the only one dining-in, although they were doing a decent pick-up business.I ordered the spicy bowl and it was excellent. We got complementary hot jessamine tea in that rainy day, and it really warmed us up. Strongly recommend the sesame sauce and garlic seasoned green bean sheet jelly noodles (which has meat in it) and the country style pork bone. And the inside environment was clean and quiet. The sesame sauce and garlic flavor so great, and the green bean noodles were fully covered with it. But if you are a vegetarian, make sure told them to avoid any meat in that dish.“

“I had the salmon sushi lunch special. It was 3 salmon sashimi, 3 salmon sushi, and a salmon avocado roll. It was tasty and very well put together by the sushi chef. The host/cashier/waitress was very competent and courteous. The restaurant is 3 tables, but takeaway is always an option. The miso was way better than most and a nice portion. My wife had the 3 roll lunch. I snapped a photo, the sushi chef did a very nice job. I will probably return and have the same thing, it was good. They have some Chinese options as well, which we may try in the future.“

“The last time I bought it, I asked them to make it without ice, but there was probably a misunderstanding and they served it without sugar. When I went home and drank it, I didn't like the taste at all and couldn't drink it. I went back the next day and explained the situation. My purpose was just to tell about this negative experience. Even though I didn't make any requests, they very politely served me the drink. They said they wanted to do it again for free. Even though I insisted on paying, they never accepted it and I liked their behavior very much. I have already observed that the employees are friendly and treat the customers well, but after this behavior, they are now number 1 in my heart.“
“One of my fav bubble tea places in the area. Great menu, very fresh boba and good prices. The small is a good size, and I can ask for no sugar and no ice. I usually pay 6-7 dollars for a small with boba which is reasonable for the area. The staff are very friendly. There is also a punch card they have, 10 punches get you a free drink. They only take Venmo or cash. I have gotten fruit teas and the oolong latte. Everything I tried here is good and I’m looking forward to returning more often. They have tables as well. But I take it to go. And they have a bathroom!! Which is so great. Their boba is the freshest around, melts in my mouth“

“My family and I love love love Kubo. Since they opened, we def try to come here any time were in the area. My fave fave fave is the Ube Soft Serve with Taiyaki and boba. Their soft serve is just so creamy and flavorful. I haven't tried everything on their menu yet, but I def plan to. Posting a pic from our most recent visit last week.They have a small seating area, but in the warmer seasons they add some extra outside seating which is nice. Its always a great place for some pics, too.10/10 Highly recommend!“
