“I've only discovered Rui Tea a couple of months ago; it is a new and welcome addition to the neighborhood. It is a tiny, clean and cozy spot. The bubble teas served at Rui Tea are not overwhelmingly sweet. I chatted with the manager who told me that they use fruit and other natural ingredients whenever possible and try to stay away from added sugar. What's not to like?“
“They serve the best tea in NJ!! If you ever come to Jersey City, this is a must visit place!!! Being a Taiwanese myself, this place is the most authentic bubble tea I ever have in the States. With the price you pay, the quality and quantity worth every penny spent:) I will have no problem drinking 3 cups per day if I live closeby. I hope they open another one soon in my area and all over NJ!!!“
“I thought at first I wrote I lackluster review for this place because of their prices, but I'm glad I didn't have to eat my words. While pricey, this place is one of two bubble tea places in my/the neighborhood that I'm aware of, so I think with few options, the prices are justifiable. Their offerings are really really good. And tasty! So far I've tried their mango slush, pandan dessert drink, and honeydew boba. All were exceptionally flavorful and none tasted artificial. The boba was a nice consistency, too. No hard bits. They also had Asian-flavored ice creams (which they source from an Asian owned vendor). The ube cheese flavor was DELICIOUS. Don't be fooled by the cheese flavor--it works and it's a common Filipino dessert flavor. There's a cute little seating area, too! We're looking forward to trying more drinks and ice cream flavors!“
“The dishes were all came out with extremely large portions and tasted authentically. The services were also great. We got complementary hot jessamine tea in that rainy day, and it really warmed us up. Strongly recommend the sesame sauce and garlic seasoned green bean sheet jelly noodles (which has meat in it) and the country style pork bone. And the inside environment was clean and quiet. The sesame sauce and garlic flavor so great, and the green bean noodles were fully covered with it. But if you are a vegetarian, make sure told them to avoid any meat in that dish.“
“One of my fav bubble tea places in the area. Great menu, very fresh boba and good prices. The small is a good size, and I can ask for no sugar and no ice. I usually pay 6-7 dollars for a small with boba which is reasonable for the area. The staff are very friendly. There is also a punch card they have, 10 punches get you a free drink. They only take Venmo or cash. I have gotten fruit teas and the oolong latte. Everything I tried here is good and I’m looking forward to returning more often. They have tables as well. But I take it to go. And they have a bathroom!! Which is so great. Their boba is the freshest around, melts in my mouth“
“Bubble Tea-licious is one of the best bubble tea spots in Jersey City. I’m pretty particular about my bubble tea and I just love every sip of the flavorful options they have! The staff is incredibly sweet and the lo-fi music sets the mood for a great study environment. 10/10 would recommend!“
