“One of my favorite cheap eats in Manhattan. I cannot explain how much I love this place. You go up to the counter to order and the food is ready within 5 minutes and served directly to your small table. And even though the restaurant itself is tiny, there always seems to be an open seat as people eat and leave very quickly. I ordered the Fried Chicken Rice and it was delicious!! Although there isn't a lot of chicken, the fried bits are fried to perfection as it isn't too oily and full of flavor. I especially liked dipping it into the sour and spicy sauce which elevated the chicken. The rice is also to die for as it is seeped with chicken broth, you can just eat this alone without anything else. Also, the soup is incredible as I love how much white pepper they put into the broth, the flavors are so incredibly intense. I love ME Chicken Rice. Probably top 10 favorite eats in NYC!“

We got 2 flavors we had not tried yet - gangnam style and galbi, both were really flavorful and different than the standard soy garlic and spicy flavors. She was telling us all about the history of CM Chicken and food trends in Korea. She even treated us to a yummy small yogurt drink brand from Korea while we waited and listened to K-pop. “The chicken is hit or miss, which for a rotisserie takeout place is not really acceptable. The sides are always really good, but the real gem here is the gyro and seasoned fries. The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business. “Heard so much about Rowdy Rooster and finally made it here. We came on a weekday for dinner and it wasn't too crowded, we were able to grab a seat. There are also standing room for a quick bite as well. The place was so adorable! Everything was so colorful and the walls and even the ceiling was decorated with colorful roosters. Our cashier was really helpful in helping us decide what to get bc it's our first time here. She said the thigh meat was better in the sandwich and indeed it was one of the best chickens I have ever had. It was so crispy but so tender on the inside. Loved the sandwiches so much bc it was full of Indian spices too! The mango lassi was amazing, definitely comparable to any sit-down Indian restaurant. We also had a hard time deciding what sauce to get and she gave us a complimentary sauce in addition to the one we bought, so we got to try both sesame yogurt and mint chutney, which were both delicious! I see why the number of wings changed, it was originally 3 whole wings but has changed to 6 wings that are drum and flats. Both came with fries, they seem handcut but not really crispy. Still pretty good.Reading over the reviews I went with extra hot on both orders, it's got a good kick but not unbearable. I would say if you order two things, get it done hot one way and extra hot the other. The sandwich was as expected, fantastic with the jerry's sauce and massive. The wings have a nice texture and would seem to be a bit on the saltier side. I'm ok with that but I think the order would be perfect if they gave a side of the jerry's sauce to dunk the wings with.Parking is across the street and there is no place to eat there, it's pretty much a takeout only spot. I've shared it with friends and colleagues. Today I experienced something even better. I placed a delivery order at work and when I got home to have this wonderful meal, my order was wrong, I like dark meat, they sent me white. I went on their website and left a complaint of my disappointment no less than 10 minutes, the store manager, Alexis called me to apologize and asked how could he fix this for me. I get greens, cabbage, black eye peas, & pot salad or string beans. Now normally I don’t get nobody’s pot salad because since our generational grandmothers have all passed away , no one can do it right ?…. But baby pan fried did ?.. I was impressed?. Somebody over 40 made that pot salad ?. The only thing I haven’t taste , was the Mac n cheese ( my heartburn be killing me ) I can’t do all those cheese at this age & the yams. Food is delicious, we always get the Onion Chicken, which is perfect to share with 2-3 people and supplement with something else like bu dae jigae. We went with a group of 4 and had to wait about 15 minutes around 6:30pm to get a table, but it went by quick. Staff was friendly and place is clean and fun decor. Like everywhere in Palisades park, street paid parking is limited but there is free parking in the neighborhood streets if you want to walk further. “This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I was pleasantly surprised with the mac & cheese as a lot of places make it pretty bland, but this one was decent. For me, the “hot” was pretty spicy and any spicier would be too much for me. I will say that the breading on the tenders is a *tad* thick. I think if they coat the chicken a bit thinner, it would be better. Still enjoyed it though and will be back for sure.“

The woman that took my order was very welcoming and polite but the only issue I had was it’s not really a sit down restaurant. More like an order to go place. Now there’s a small bench with three seats inside near the front window and I was lucky that 3 customers that was waiting for their food gave me the seats. I ordered the 3 piece Pan-Fried Chicken with Mac&Cheese and Yams which came with Cornbread. The food was AMAZING, SO AMAZING I ordered a plate to go(with a little guilt)!
