“Was looking for something light and easy to eat. Tried this place which looked to be authentic Vietnamese food. At 6:30 pm on a Thursday, there was already a wait, so plan ahead. I ordered the mini-vermicelli special (create your own) and had it with pork, shrimp and spring rolls. I also requested some rice paper so I can wrap the food myself and the staff was more than accommodating. The food was delicious! Staff and service was also superb, quite friendly and attentive. The only negative I would say was that I also ordered a Taro Boba smoothie and the Boba beads were mushy, had a disintegrated texture. It could be a bad batch of boba. I'd eat again at this place in a heart beat.“
“I've been here a few times, and the classic sandwich is just as amazing each time. They pack the perfect amount of flavor into this 3 meat sandwich, and the French bread is always fresh. The classic sandwich is my favorite sandwich on the island at the moment. This food establishment is family run, and you can tell they take pride in making quality food.“
“If someone is following me they know I like Vietnamis PHO. So we went to try it on Staten Island. Place is lovely. So many exiting details such as sticks with restaurant name on them, call button with different options ( call, pay, cancel), gold spoons, plenty of decorations which makes this place cozy and comfortable. Start with drinks. There are a good amount to choose from. Mine with real fresh passion fruit was packed in clear plastic can and was sparkling and delicious. Summer rolls were ok. A lot of vermicelli, few shrimps, no any added vegetables. A peanut sauce wasn’t bad but wasn’t really good either. The star dish was beef Pho. Delicious rich broth, vermicelli and variation of different meat: ribeye, filet mignon, beef tripe and beef balls. To call this Pho great, one thing should be improved. Beef tripe was too chewy. You actually cannot bite it, you have to swallow whole piece. Overall you will enjoy Pho and will come for it back. I didn’t mentioned that as a compliment to Pho comes plate of bean sprouts, lime and basil. Volcano Wings sauce was basically more on sweet side than spicy, not too flavorful and I didn’t like the crunch on the top. It didn’t taste as somewhat connected to dish. But the meat was juicy and tender. Grilled chicken is one more dish we ordered. Chicken thighs were overdone, dry, salty with cold vermicelli. I will recommend to take a rice instead of vermicelli. Pickled radish and carrots gave some nice flavor and texture but honestly I don’t think I would order this dish again. Boring and the sauce that was served with it didn’t make any difference. In conclusion this place is a good choice for lunch especially if you like soups and fancy nonalcoholic drinks. Service was quick and helpful and as a bonus you can find a parking right by the restaurant.“
“My go-to spot whenever I'm craving vietnamese food. The excellent food quality and generous portion size has been consistent every time - whether dining in or taking out. Their pho broth is top tier and they dont skimp on ingredients.Staff are super friendly and chill - you can tell they care about their customers and work hard to keep the customers happy even during rush hour.Vegetarian options: plenty of vegetarian options availableParking: parking spots available right outsode and plenty of street parkingKid-friendliness: high chairs availableWheelchair accessibility: wheelchair ramp available“
“This is my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in all of New York. The food is so well balanced and full of umami. I just wish they had a location in Manhattan. We got the bun Bo hue and pork chops on the side. Service was so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back soon!“
“This is the sixth bowl of Vietnamese pho I've eaten. Objectively speaking, it can't be considered the most authentic. The flavor of their broth isn't particularly pure. Although it smells fresh, it's slightly lacking compared to what I consider to be truly rich. Additionally, it might be due to understaffing, but I had to wait a long time before someone came to take our order after we entered. However, I would recommend their fried chicken; it tastes good.“
“My husband and I both ordered #33 chicken pho and coconut shrimp , and it was a delightful experience! The flavor was on point, and it just added to the overall enjoyment of our visit to Sagion Pho. Highly recommend! The family vibe is heartwarming. The staff makes you feel like you're at your grandma's house.“
“Nice Vietnamese restaurant. Had the number 88 spicy squid with peppers, it was very good I wish it had a little more peppers but I can't complain, it had a lot of squid lol. Wifey had the pho, she enjoyed it, can't remember what kind she had. The tea was really good, taste like taro bubble tea.“
“Went here with a friend and wow!! Some of the best soup I've had in a long time. I got the vegetable pho and the flavor from the broth soaked into the vegetables and tofu perfectly without making them soggy. Everything tasted really fresh, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the staff was great. Can't wait to go back.“
“The place is under new management. The spring rolls are bigger with price increase but still delish. They are manned by young entrepreneurs and can communicate very well in English. I hope that they stay in business because there only few places that serve authentic Vietnamese food. This place nailed it.Parking: It's part of a strip mall so a lot of parking.“
