“I ate in this heavenly restaurant for the first night after its opening 9 months ago, the food is prepared by a real chef (main chef Walner and also by a woman pastry chef) and absolutely awesome. We had the creamy soup du jour and the harissa lamb kofte (a delicacy), the roasted wild salmon with sautéed vegetables, the succulent short rib with perfumed saffron rice and root vegetables purée, the lemon meringue and the rain of pistachio. The wine was mevushal chateau les riganes Bordeaux 2022 for $22 only and really nice. The tip of 19% is included in your total bill. Yes it is pricey but worth every morcel of food. The decor is a little dark but sober and the music subdued. An unforgettable experience Baruch Hashem.“

“We have been remiss and not reviewing Robert scratch Kitchen sooner. This was our fourth visit and we've had four outstanding meals. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Robert personally attends to his guests to ensure everything is going well. The cod with mango chutney was outstanding and the shrimp special over trophy pasta was delicious.“

“We tried out a new amazing restaurant in Suffern,Ny during their preopening with my sister and brother in law and wife @tnt_makeup_by_chani @myndis last night @peppercrust. From the moment you are greeted with a hand shake to the atmosphere to the service which was top notch to the food which was 5 stars we were happy we drove 45 minutes. We went with a combo of their two prefix menus. The 5 course and 3 course. We had both apps the gnocci with veal and wild mushrooms, fired chicken sticks. Next was soup, we had minestrone and summer pea, next was a refreshing salad. The main we all decied to get the same 42 day aged pepper crusted prime rib. They always gave us a complimentary pepper crusted baby back rib. Both where amazing. In addition for the prefix you get unlimited open bar, soda and coffe &tea They are limited on what they had but definitely enough stuff Their prefix is this week only as of now so go today and tomorrow you wont be disappointed. #kosher #kosherfoodie #kosherfood #keto #steak #prime rib #alcohol #prefix #newrestaurant #yeahthatskosher #kosherguru #nyceats #suffern #monsey #nyc #brooklyn #catskills. #dinner #greatkosherrestaurant #kosherrestaurant #rocklandcounty #westorange #passic“

“The grilled calamari was superb, as was the sautéed Dover sole with Italian tomatoes. My wife had the burata with the absolute best prosciutto. Her surf turf dish was amazing. My brother's trippa appetizer was fantastic and the cod messinese was tops. Each dessert was perfect too. The owner pays attention to his guests and his great staff follows his lead. Finally, the cocktails we're prepared expertly.“

“Quaint and romantic atmosphere depending on where you are seated. We were originally seated in a very tight space near the bar adjacent to a large family, but the hostess was accommodating and sat us in a different area. The restaurant has a nice charm but don't expect modern finishes. Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable. The rosemary butter was also a nice surprise. It really deserves a different bread, not sandwich-like dinner rolls that are served. You should expect a more home-cooked style meal. While I appreciated the effort and presentation of the dishes, the flavor lacked in certain dishes. The dishes weren't anything spectacular, hence, expect a home-cooked style meal but I did appreciate how classic and light they were (not overly greasy and dense). We ordered the crab/shrimp bisque that desperately needed salt/pepper. The taste of the broth tasted a bit too watered down for me despite the thick consistency. Caesar salad was a caesar salad. We also ordered the beef sliders, which tasted pretty average, again, nothing spectacular but still good. I ordered the rack of lamb as my main dish. It was cooked to temperature and very well. The sauce also complimented the lamb nicely. The mashed potatoes cried for salt and butter. My partner ordered the homemade parpadelle pasta, and it was good. The pasta was overcooked, but it's homemade pasta so that's fine. The sauce was very delicious in this dish and well seasoned. We didn't order dessert, but I had a feeling it would have made up for some of the off-seasoned food. The french martini I ordered when I arrived also wasn't prepared as a true french martini. There wasn't any foam, and it was served with a cherry, which they aren't typically served with and off in color, either due to the cherry or too much chambord. Still drank it though.Overall, we had a nice night and we may come back and give it another shot“
