Only had lamb shawarma plate and it was underwhelming. Pitas were bland and stale. Hoped for better even for a late night snack. Service was quick and attentive. Maybe other dishes would have turned out more positive.
Had lunch in the restaurant today - Falafel Plate and Mint Lemonade with fries on the side. The entree was very fresh and filling. Fries were great. Hot sauce was HOT! (not going to have it again - just a bit too hot for me, personally).3 main reasons for my 3* rating1. The music (arabian/middle eastern) was very much compatible with the place but just a bit too loud - made the place feel more like a pub/bar (without the alcohol of course) and unable to have a decent conversation...read full review

Mamouns falafel was a staple in my forays into Manhattan Greenwich village.Revisiting my old stomping grounds in 15 yrs,so much has changed. But, I was pleased to find a Mamouns in Hoboken,so .... as I've never been to the one mile city, that was at least a destination.Same quality,in a spacious setting, with a proper bathroom.
