We were visiting Hoboken for the first time yesterday and went to the Sushi Lounge for dinner. We did make a reservation in advance, which was good since the restaurant was packed! They had a dj playing music upstairs and since there were lots of people it was very loud and hard to hear each other. We started with the pork dumplings for an appetizer and they were very tasty! The food was delicious. We really enjoyed the dishes. The soups were some of the best we’ve eaten. The atmosphere was nice but it was a little too dark for us and there was a tv on playing sport which felt really out of sync with the overall feel.

I love the food here, yummy and interesting rolls but the service I received las time was horrendous. The chubby Hispanic woman with wavy longer hair ruined the whole night with her stank face, horrible attitude. She forgot to put an order in for a jalepeno salmon roll and never came back to the table for 30 minutes and I went around asking the waiters for her and eventually put in a order with a random waiter in the back.
