“I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. The food is amazing! Atmosphere is beautiful and the service is great. The mousakka, pastitchio, chicken kabobs were incredible. The bougatsa we had for dessert was out of this world! I really don’t think I’ve ever had a better meal than I did last night! Delicious and the owner is just delightful as well. I will definitely be back soon!“
“The local mom and pops spot. Real food real people. The steak and eggs special is my go to. When you're tired of fast food Evans brings you home! Delicious food for a fair price. Yummy!Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus, eggplant, salads, ect.Dietary restrictions: No pork no problem gyro is lamb and beef so good! Chicken dishes too!“
“Best Greek food around hands down! I cannot stop going back. The falafel bowl and the lemon potatoes are definitely my favorite on the menu but everything I have tried has been amazing. Also you cannot beat the prices. Everyone inside is so friendly. There is a high top bar style table inside with a few seats but we have only gotten takeout. We continue to keep coming back here and the food is just excellent every time! Please done change a thing, we love this place!!!“
“This is a hidden gem. One of the best restaurants in NJ. Every dish I’ve had is absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The pappardelle with braised lamb is to die for. I’d have it as my last meal.Chef Ash is sweet as pie and when you come in you’re family. He is attentive and kind and you can tell he pays attention to detail. If you happen to be there on a day he has made his famous rice pudding you’re in for a treat! My goodness! I’m getting hungry just thinking about all the wonderful things on the menu! The octopus appetizer is another mouth watering dish!I think I’ll go book a table! ?“
“Been here a few times, food is consistently great … spicy feta is a must on your GYROS (yee-ros)!This is family run business and they are all awesome!Parking: Depending on time of day, you may have to circle or walk far to get to restaurant (it’s worth the walk)“
“i'm sadly no longer a local. I had the falafel . it was real good. Just right for a light dinner. The sauce, tzaziki ? really sealed the deal. The village fries are perfect side for one hungry person or to share if you are getting several items. Service was fast and friendly. I will miss NJ and Greek EatsParking: it appeared there are plenty of spots close to door“
“My wife and I like Mediterranean food so we had to try the Greek Spot while in Red Bank. We were not disappointed! The place was very nice; classier than the name and exterior might imply. The service was great with pita and olive oil brought out immediately and frequently. The server and other attendants were extremely polite and friendly. The food - goodness! Everything was delicious and the portions were huge!We had hummus and pitas for an appetizer as well as Loukaniko, an excellent Greek sausage. My wife had chicken gyros, which they specifically made for her, and I had the Bifteki platter. Thus was no simple burger; the patties were perfectly spiced and cooked. It was a perfect complement to the rest of the platter which included spinach and rice. There was so much food that we each took home enough for another meal later in the day.All in all, it was a very enjoyable and affordable visit!“
“Such an amazing place! Even though I just needed to have a quick bite, I was so happy I found this place, they even catered to my current vegan diet, I had a veggie wrap with a tahini sauce and additional fries sprinkled with lemon that was soooo good! ? highly recommend this hidden Greek gem, you will not be disappointed. I wanted to try so much more, if I’m in that area again, that’ll be my go to place! Also forgot to mention about very very friendly service, together with a delicious food it made my experience really great.“
