“I performed at Avenue this last Friday coming from Greece, this place is a true gem in Astoria and NY. Exemplary service, excellent food, great place to play music for people to enjoy. I was impressed by the fact that apart from the Reggaeton & English songs, there were people not speaking Greek as their 1st language who enjoyed the Greek music I also played. “Best place to eat home style Greek food, we go to this place at least 2 to 3 times a week to enjoy the traditional Greek food. Daily specials change every day which is great if you eat out for lunch on a daily. Hands down the best Branzino and Calamari in Astoria.“

“Absolutely delicious. I got the Zorbas platter for myself, but it could easily be split between 2-3 people. It brings 4 pitas, tzatziki, chicken, beef, and lamb souvlaki, as well as gyro meat. Maybe get a side of fries and you have yourself a nice spread.“
“My date is Greek and so I wanted to take her to a Greek restaurant where we could dance. This is the place where we had stuffed grape leaves, combination platter with assorted potatoes, cheeses, yogurt and cucumbers. It was all delicious. We found it odd that ouzo was not on the drink menu but once we inquired, they brought us had ouzo and we drank it all night long. The live entertainment consisted of a band and four singers that sang all night long. The only regret we had was that there were very few folks around in the lounge to enjoy both the cuisine and the live entertainment whose musicians and singers were of the highest quality. My date was on the dance floor and demonstrated to me that she can dance the Greek dances that she had learned as a young lady. I promised her that I would dance with her like Telly Savalas someday. I recommend Jimbos to all who would not only enjoy the food but also enjoy the Greek entertainment of the highest quality. Please note that the lounge opens at 10:00 pm and reservations are recommended.“
