“Had my daughters first birthday party here after looking at multiple other restaurants. This restaurant had the nicest party room and the food was delicious. The day of the party, I was able to come early to decorate and set up. The owner and his family were very kind and helped set up the room and accommodated our requests.They continually checked in throughout the event to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything. The waitresses made sure we had enough food and the kids were all given kids meals which they loved. My guests raved about the chicken francese and baked clams.It was a great day and I felt very at peace knowing how helpful staff was and didn't have to worry about the party going smoothly. “I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. They apparently didn't have them or had run out that night (although it wasn't extremely busy) and without informing me, they just substituted some salmon- not exactly an even swap! I should have been told they didn't have a key component of the dish, so I could opt for another entree. It was good, but the idea it was advertised as containing scallops was a deciding factor in choosing that particular dish.“

Boneless wings were great and priced under $10, but domestic drafts were a little expensive at $5. The bar was very slow for a Sat night and someone was playing terrible rap music on the jukebox. I came in the inquire about a club holiday party and they gave me great prices for a buffet. We booked the party. I did get to speak to several customers when I was sitting at the counter who are true regulars and they couldn't say enough about how great the food and service is. Not many options to eat but what we had was actually fresh and surprisingly good for a small hotel. Free parking and laundry room were a big plus. Very quiet neighborhood and some weddings were happening while we stayed but I basically heard no noise from guests or was bothered by loud music. Really recommend!“
“We have frequented Woody's for years. However, this experience was not as great as usual. To start our waitress seemed not to like us for some reason. Her demeaner with us was stoic while jovial with other tables. Secondly, they made changes to the menu that I don't care for, like the guacamole on the blackened chicken tacos. Just add Baja sauce. Also, the salad lack today's salad expectations. For one, the dressings are thick and processed. They need to be fresh prepared in house. Also, bring back the old recipe for the drunken clams. It was the best around and we've tried many. It's all there at Woody's for a nice casual meal. It just needs to be rejuvenated.“
“I travel for work. I come to this area twice a year. I have visited BHT 3 times now. My first time was a less than stellar visit. The host who seated me was polite all three times. My server never smiled, and during the whole visit, it made me feel like I was an inconvenience. She took my order and disappeared. Another staff member brought me my drink and appetizer. That is not unusual for this type of business. A while later, my meal came. While I ate, I could see my server talking with the host or up at the bar. Her body language indicated she wasn't having a good night. At no time did she ever come to check on me. She seemed more interested in talking to other staff while they worked. Every day at work isn't always going to be a good day, I understand that. Once finished with my meal, I had to wait for almost 25 minutes to get my check. Then, after taking my card, it took her almost 15 minutes to return for my signature. I was not impressed.6 months later, I returned. I saw the same waitress wearing the same aggravated look and was thankful she wasn't my server. Unfortunately, this server, an older woman, wasn't much better. The food was good, and being that I was staying at the Hampton Inn across the street, it was convenient. The service was again slow to a fault. You'd think I wouldn't return.This brings us to last night. Once again, the food was good and convenient. I had actually looked on Google Maps to find someplace else. I read a lot of reviews to see what others may have thought. There were several with similar experiences, but those were 4 months or older. So I decided to chance it. I am glad I did. Bryan was my server. I didn't see either one of my previous servers around. Bryan was attentive and had a positive attitude. He checked up on me often and was a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, this time, I was the problem. Being the bonehead, I can be from time to time, I left my wallet across the street in my room. I asked for a manager, and expecting pushback, I explained my mistake. He understood and allowed me to leave so I could return with my wallet. When I did, I was met by Bryan with the same positive attitude. Needless to say, I will be returning during my next visit to the area. It was nice to see that they had listened to the reviews and made corrections. I definitely will recommend this establishment. ?“
“Have had enjoyable experiences in past three years....then Saturday, Dec 9, we had a terrible experience.1. Our reservation made on the 9th was acknowledged when we entered. We were told it would be a few minutes while our booth was cleared and to be seated. About ten minutes later a couple sat next to us. The receptionist that told us to wait,told the couple next to us that a booth was available to them. She then told us no booth was available for us.2. We were seated in the back room. Placed our order for two delicious cocktails and one Bavaria pretzel and one Bavaria pretzel to take home; one order for beef stew and one order for chicken piccata.3. The empty 4tables around us were filled and shortly thereafter received their orders.finished and left.4. After 1 hour and a half the waitress,who was busy, came to us and said our orders were given to another table! Also,our beef stew order couldn't be completed because they ran out of beef stew !!In our years going to Huddy's from the strip mall to the new location, we never have experienced such a frustrating and unenjoyable experience. “I highly recommend The Polo Club. My friends and I stopped by for drinks last night and they were amazing! Took a look at the food menu and if we didn’t already have reservations I would absolutely eat here. I will be back again for food AND drinks. The atmosphere is fantastic, the interior is absolutely stunning. Very clean inside and well kept. They have 2 bar areas with ample seating in the front area. The bar in the back is smaller but there is a large sitting area with tables and leather chairs to sit, relax and enjoy outstandingly made drinks. In the center of it all is a large open kitchen where you can watch the team prepare meals. If you’re lucky enough to be there on a Friday or Saturday night and Chris is making your drinks you are in for a treat. He takes drink mixing seriously. Drinks are well balanced and flavorful, no overstuffing of ice and sugary juice mixes here. The staff is extremely attentive. If something isn’t right, they’ll fix it. If you’re looking for something new to try they’re right there with recommendations. Kudos to Chris and Ryan at the back bar you both made the experience wonderful! Excellent job on the blue cheese stuffed olives Ryan, they were outstanding! My friends and I will definitely be back!!Parking: The parking lot is decent sized however going during peak time expect to park a bit further away. Watch for the massive pothole in the 2nd row of parking on the restaurant side of the parking lot. It’s pretty deep and may scrape cars lower to the ground. It’s also quite large you don’t want to trip walking in the darkKid-friendliness: We sat in the bar area my friends had a babysitter but they said children are allowed in the bar area seating. There is also a full restaurant area.“
