“This was an absolute hidden gem! We were trying to find something midway for our friends meeting us and decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise! Our waiter was super nice and provided great service. They even accommodated a special request of clams on the half shell, and they were great. Shrimp scampi over linguine was tasty and lobster ravioli was delicious and even came with half a lobster tail. Desserts were great too. Definitely will be back. Ambiance was a little dated, but it was clean including the bathrooms.“

“Maloney’s is known for their excellent beer selection and they never disappoint. They have a decent selection on their food menu all of which is very tasty and well prepared. If you like shrimp they have a Portuguese shrimp dish which is always amazing as it is served in a bread bowl with some amazing gravy. The Maloney burger is another classic that you should try as it is an excellent burger served on an English muffin. The atmosphere is dark and cozy and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is an actual bar there as well with high top tables if you want to go by yourself.Kid-friendliness: They have a decent kids menu for those particular eaters. Even their pizza is a good flatbread version.“
“I came here for some bar food on Sat night cause I was hungry and the other bar I was at was just too busy to find a seat and eat. Boneless wings were great and priced under $10, but domestic drafts were a little expensive at $5. The bar was very slow for a Sat night and someone was playing terrible rap music on the jukebox. Food and service were great, but music was bad.“

“Apple Jacks is great. The owner John fixed me and hubby up back in 1987. The bar is really fun and they don't only have parties they have parties for the kids to. When my kids were little they had a big party and put a jumping blow up thing in the parking lot for the kids and they also got Ralph the other owner dress up as Santa Clause and have the kids sit on his lap and get presents.“
“I have been going there for 40 years now. Always great delicious food as well as, a whole page of specials. The specials are always different. Their burgers are grilled in the center of the bar. They also have a delicious cheddar cheese that they pour over there hamburgers. The house salad with the house dressing is always a winner. Lettuce, egg, little shrimp, with the house dressing! I always loved the crab Melt aways! you cannot make a reservation, there is always a wait for dinner. get there at 11:30 for lunch, it fills up fast! Lunch specials come with a soup or a salad. Recently, renovated, outside area as well. “I went here Friday, for the first time... Everything about it was great. If you're into live music and good vibes you have to try it out. The Friday night band plays Grateful Dead, and they do it very well. The place was packed with friendly people having a great time. I had no idea what to expect when I walked in, I was really blown away. The food was also very good...your typical bar food menu. There's a grill behind the bar, my friend and I had a burger and a cheesesteak with fries. The prep area and grill were very clean and the food was fresh. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole evening and I'll definitely be going back ??“
“Great beer selection on tap. Best bar pies around. Live music occasionally and a DJ on the weekends. They have one pool table and lots of TVs so you can watch all kinds of sports. Sundays during football season is great as they have all the games on and the DJ will host games like bingo, trivia, etc. You go there for the beer, food, and fun but you stay for the Tuna.“

“This place gets very crowded, very quickly. I used to come here all the time when I lived in the area, so I figured I would stop in since I was in town. They have done renovations and the restaurant looks great. The food and service is still top notch. It is a very small establishment; if you are looking for a lot of room, this is not the place for you. They have a great beer selection and different types of food, from apps to entrees and desserts. The Jester is a staple in Freehold so I recommend a visit. They also have AMI jukebox for those who love music.“
“Had my husband's surprise 30th birthday here (we've been several times before - it's one of our favorite spots!) and they were amazing from start to finish. Super easy to book, flexible with the menu, and our serve Kelly was on top of it the whole time. She made everything super easy and was so attentive to our decently sized group. Food was brought out promptly and everyone raved about how good it was. Will continue to come here for dinner and will definitely be on the top of our list for parties in the future!“
“Have had enjoyable experiences in past three years....then Saturday, Dec 9, we had a terrible experience.1. Our reservation made on the 9th was acknowledged when we entered. We were told it would be a few minutes while our booth was cleared and to be seated. About ten minutes later a couple sat next to us. The receptionist that told us to wait,told the couple next to us that a booth was available to them. She then told us no booth was available for us.2. We were seated in the back room. Placed our order for two delicious cocktails and one Bavaria pretzel and one Bavaria pretzel to take home; one order for beef stew and one order for chicken piccata.3. The empty 4tables around us were filled and shortly thereafter received their orders.finished and left.4. After 1 hour and a half the waitress,who was busy, came to us and said our orders were given to another table! Also,our beef stew order couldn't be completed because they ran out of beef stew !!In our years going to Huddy's from the strip mall to the new location, we never have experienced such a frustrating and unenjoyable experience. “First time visiting from Atlanta! Our waitress, Brittany was phenomenal from start to finish! She gave awesome and honest menu suggestions, food came out quickly and warm! Best hospitality I’ve experienced in a while with dining in. Brittany came back around a just enough times to make sure we had everything we needed. & built rapport with engaging in conversation. She was hands down, phenomenal!The food was excellent, the chicken and avocado egg rolls were top tier.“
