“Where do I even begin? The food here is immaculate. I have tried almost every dish, and every single one was incredible. My favorite is the Chicken Avacado Panini. The service is incredible as well. The waitress is the most sweet lady and even remembers what people's usuals are. She is awesome. I always feel welcomed and the whole place is cozy. This is my go to place for when Im having a bad day or when I want to have a great time with my friends and family. Their quality control is also amazing, each time I come, I get a meal that was prepared amazingly. Well done Al's, I will keep coming back for more and more years.“
“Under the title “Never judge a book by it’s cover”, the Hightstown Diner delivers in a big way. I’ll admit I headed here due to a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode however that “chapter ” of the Hightstown is closed. Open is this new incarnation which does not disappoint.I ordered the Greek Salad and enjoyed it thoroughly. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The olives magnificent, the Feta was so fresh I wondered if it was house-made, the dressing sublime. Crisply toasted Pita triangles adorned the plate for a great contrast and beautiful presentation.The price could not have been fairer, the service was friendly and quick.Vegetarian options: Not a “vegan/vegetarian” menu, however the kitchen stocks a great assortment of fresh vegetables. More options to me than most.“
“Although seemingly plain on the outside with stucco plastered on its walls, it has a certain charm once you walk in. With a few counter stools, old fashion booths, upbeat workers and great service, this really is a great place to visit just for the environment. As for the food, I would recommend a specialty burger since you can't go wrong with the burger of your choice and fries. However, I wouldn't recommend the American cheese on it. And if you don't particularly like sautéed vegetables, I would shy away from the Italian hot dog. As for the drink, as long as you like ice cream, a milk shake is the right choice for you. However, don't get the orange juice, as my sister described it as tasting like dirty dish water. With some great meal options and stellar service, this place is definitely worth the visit. No one, except for the community, would know it's a hidden gem.“
“Very good breakfast and deserts, especially for people with a sweet-tooth like myself. The waitresses were friendly, even though it was a holiday. As for atmosphere, I always enjoy diners with that classic 50s/60s feeling, even if I was not alive during those times lmao. Altogether, this is a lovely eatery that I will definitely come back to in the near future.“
“I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. “It's a diner. It has amazing gluten free. We tried the gf pancakes, gf open faced turkey sandwich, gf chicken parm, and gf chicken fingers. The parm and tenders were crunchy and good. “I primarily use them for office lunches. Their hoagies are really very good, and I would consider them a value. This is usually my go to when I'm buying lunch for the office. The food is always so fresh and tastes great. Lisa is awesome and always goes above and beyond. I love supporting small businesses, and they make it so easy to keep coming back. Great food, at a great price AND great service - you can't beat it! Breakfast sandwiches and platters are great too.“
“In town on business with my son and stumbled across this jewel. Semi friendly waitress, great food, quick delivery....everything I want!! Came two days in a row, highly recommend the home fries and the 2 egg sandwich on a roll. Wish I could lift this place back home and put it in my neighborhood. No hipster nonsense, just quality!“
“I had an overall wonderful experience at Colonial Diner. The food was better than your average diner and the atmosphere was very notable. I spoke to who I believe to be the manager there about the place and he pointed out the original floors and tiles in the building. The diner had a long bar stretched across the building with multiple TVs playing movies. The staff was very friendly and my order was taken and came very quickly. I showed up about a little over an hour before closing and the restaurant did not have many people in there. The parking lot was large and had many spots. I came on a Thursday night and the staff was very quick everything was done almost immediately after sitting down.“
“Probably one of the best and decent restaurants out there in Marlboro/Manalapan area. They have variety of menu items. Food comes out quick. I feel the food is bit pricey compared to Perkins. Vegetarians & kids will have no problems ordering their food. $75 for 2 adult and 1 kid.When it gets busier, getting attention of the server becomes tricky.“
“This Denny's is on a highway across from a large mall and gets less customers as a result. Still, the food is good and the restaurant is very clean. Prices are cheap and I bought extras, fruit salad & banana cream pancakes topping.Vegetarian options: You can ask for no meat. The only thing that is really vegetarian is the side salad.Parking: On Sunday, the lot is empty. I think there are offices using the same lot. A hotel has a lot in back & might overflow into Dennys.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicapped parking spaces. The restaurant is one floor and another customer used a walker to leave ok.“
“I've only ever gotten take out for breakfast, never dined in. First off, portions are insane for the omelet!!! You get more than your money's worth. Staff is always kind and patient. I usually get grubhub deliveries from here. And I can say they always remember who you are. It is fun to go and get food for myself. Not a grubhub pickup, and see the look on the one girl's face when she panics and sees there isn't an order. Nope just for me, I'm eating today ?“
“I needed a quick bite to eat between seeing clients. I was in and out of the diner in about 25 minutes around 11:30 on a Tuesday. The staff was very kind and attentive. My omelet was cooked in about 10 minutes tops. The food was good and filling but not amazing in any way. I’d try this diner again.“
“I came to Omega Diner for a Saturday Men's Fellowship with my church. It was 13 of us and we had the back room to ourselves. Our waiter was attentive throughout our duration there, especially for a large group. I ordered the mozzarella and sausage omlette, which was a pretty generous size. I loved how cheesy it was, and the sausage was cooked well. It came with home fries and toast, and I ordered a side of crispy bacon as well. For dessert, I ordered the cannoli cheesecake, and I was blown away by how generous they were with their slices. It tasted as good as it looked, and it wasn't overly rich.“
