We also had coffee & pastry for dessert which was so pleasant, brought me back home. Overall very satisfied with the experience and service. The owners were very attentive. “A much needed addition to edgewater and the overall area!I wish they offered ekmek kataifi!But If you are looking for a relaxing cafe with lots of cakes, crepes, greek and turkish sweets, coffees and teas, and lots of seating, this is the place for you.They have traditional Greek desserts like kataifi and ravani which are delicious and turkish coffees. They also have lunch options and spinach or cheese pies etc..Owners are sweet and overall this is a gem for the area!“
“Just ordered on Uber Eats and it is by far the best cuban food that I've found since moving here from Miami!!! Will definitley be ordering again!! Only place up north that I've found that makes the simple staples: Empanadas/Croquettes/Sandwiches correctly!!!“
“Such a yum place. They let us bring our 9lb/4kg toy cavoodle inside as well which was so nice considering outdoors was all booked and we had booked inside. The food was delicious and came quickly and the staff were lovely. The only comment is that our table was right against the wall so had limited space but that’s standard for nyc cafes. Would come back again because it’s pet friendly yahoooo!“

“Gilbertos has been around for a long time. So no need to say that the food is very good. The service also outstanding and the ambience. Well it's a cafeteria type place with a few tables and a full counter. They are Cuban sandwich is really good and so is the ropa vieja.“
“wonderful cafe! delicious food, professional staff working in the kitchen, friendly atmosphere, staff always smiling. service at the highest level. always fresh products, prices are not expensive. the tables are always clean. employees speak at least 3 languages. My favorite thing is the shrimp with pasta - they are made with love just like the rest of the dishes. The cafe administrator always keeps order in the cafe.“
“I really enjoy the Jersey Mikes franchise and the fact that they are now in my neighborhood. I realize they are new however I think alittle more training is needed. I never had to ask for extra meat but when I order here I pay for extra because the sandwiches have been consistently light. I also noticed some of the workers in the back on their phones even though they were short a person in the front. The two young people in the front were very helpful.“
“Right off the beaten path of Central Ave is Galeria. They have two little tables outside when it's nice, and inside is a cute homey and clean spot with plenty of seats. Their coffees are great and empanadas are awesome for a quick grab. Also good for chicken sandwiches and breakfast platters! Owners are very sweet. They deserve your business instead of Dunkin. Prices for lattes are better and doesn't taste like a syrupy mess. Go here!“
