“The food here was delicious. I had a papa rellena and a chicken pupusas in addition to the mixed ones and also got a taste of my husbands baleadas. All around great food and strong flavors. It's a nice vibe decor wise and staff are super friendly. You can tell the food was made with love.“
“We found this hidden gem in one of our trips to NJ/NY about 2 years ago! And let me tell you… we LOVE it!! The food and service is amazing! We have made this our to go place whenever we go to NJ! (We live in VA)No regrets! You have to try it! I’ll say there is a little bit of wait, but everywhere you go now a days has a wait! The soups and Baleadas(flour tortillas with beans, cheese and mantequilla) are delicious!!“
“I had never tried Honduran food before, but the baleadas on the menu looked interesting and relatively similar to a quesadilla. We ordered two of these, one with avocado and the other with egg, both had beans and some sort of creamy buttery cheese and both were amazing! We also ordered the carne asada which was very good, and the pollo frito con tajadas which was a huge portion of fried chicken on top of tostones and shredded lettuce(?), but unfortunately this was drenched in a very sweet sauce and was not edible - we would not have ordered if the menu specified that the sauce on top was sweet. If you like sweet sauce on chicken, give it a try, if not then make sure you order with no sauce or request sauce on the side so you can give it a try. We'll definitely be ordering from Gordo's kitchen again!“
“El Progreso is a cozy little restaurant, focused on typical Central American food and with very good service. I like to go, at least once a week, to share with my family the delicious tamales, baleadas, pupusas and tacos, accompanied by a delicious beet spice that they serve to their special clients. Tamarind and orchata waters are our favorites. Solidarity prices!“
“This is a rating for their Baleadas ! This is my 5th time having them and they haven't disappoint ? My go to here is the Baleada "Con Todo". It comes with refried beans, cream, scrambled eggs, steak, and avocado. Super tasty and we'll cooked ? i recommend you give it a shoot.Make sure you bring cash with you by the way. Unfortunately, they don't take cards for some reason.“
“I arrived and the first thing I thought was... It has a little piece of my land here... Here is Honduras... They have the seasoning... Of the food... the spark of attention that still characterizes Hondurans... I loved the variety and Without a doubt I recommend it 100%.. They make it possible to enjoy what we like.. THANK YOU very much?? BLESSINGS“

“We ate lunch before the show at the NJ Performing Arts Center. This place was great. Many dishes we’d never heard of. The homemade juices were excellent and unique. The beef soup was great as were the appetizers . Our server helped us learn about their foods. Would happily return“
“The food is very good and affordable, unfortunately the staff is quite horrible. Mostly all the time they have bad faces as if one were going to ask, at least I have always been friendly even if they make bad faces at me. Their food is good, there is no denying it. It would be good if they changed their attitude towards the clients, at least the ones we spoke well to...“
“(Translated by Google) Very good food. Especially the chicken with the slice. The only thing is that the place is small. There is only room for three tables.(Original)Muy buena comida. Especialmente, el pollo con tajada. Lo unico es que es pequeño el lugar. Solo hay espacio para tres mesas.“
