We ordered the hummus, chicken chapli and beef chapli with qabuli palow (traditional rice with carrots and raisins). It’s so favorable and so fresh. The chicken was seasoned nice and was super juicy on the inside yet golden crispy on the outside. I was stoked to try the fries next because there was enough for a family and golden in color. Sadly they were soggy, not fried nearly as long as they should have been and lacked salt. I ate just a few both with and without ketchup and tossed them. This small trendy looking corner store had a couple display cases with mainly fried chicken and desserts offered as grab-n-go. There were 2 thin tables to stand at and eat if desired and quiet with one chef and one cashier. Friendly staff though with great recommendations.Parking: Street parking already taken. I think she said her name was Oré. She was super sweet and held it down, but I felt bad she had to do all that. Overall, it was a nice casual spot to grab a bite. “Kind of lived at the terrific White Castle restaurant on Route 22 in Union, NJ for 4-5 days during the summer of 09. Was between places to live and myself and my two trusty dogs would pull into the White Castle around ten or eleven at night, and I would get a cup of the fabulous White Castle coffee for myself and a couple of White Castles for my two traveling companions, and we would find a spot in the rear of the parking lot, and that was our stay for the night. Slept intermittently off and on, and the next morning we would be on our way to the public library on Morris Avenue in Union, NJ to hit craigslist on the computer to find our next domicile. Finally found a place in Milford, Pa across the Delaware River. A policeman would usually ride through the White Castle parking lot at night at about 2-3 o'clock in the morning. Usually tried to alternate parking spaces, but we were never questioned. I suppose the policeman thought we were really good customers, ha. Ahh . . . how I wish those dear days were back. For all of you fuddy duddies, sitting home, being bored, being a couch potato in the living room of your paid-off mortgage, suburban home, you ought to give it a try. There is nothing quite like the gypsy life, and I'll forever be grateful and a faithful customer to White Castle for being a part of it. As Bob Hope used to say, "Thanks for the Memories" . . . .“
“In drive-thru they have made multiple divisions with ropes and waiters stood at the starting point of rope holding ipads to take orders but the display menu is in the middle of the rope way. Both the students were leisurely talking to each other on oneside, being the first time visitor to particular location we have moved to the menu board and the students were shouting behind. We stopped car and asked, they said we need to order there itself but we said we need to go through menu board, one student annoyingly came up to menu board and took order. By the time we have collected our order few things are missing and chicken was not crisp. Mostly these days in drive-thru, orders are given recklessly thinking we are not going to see the customer back as they are moved and gone from the place.Parking: There is a vast parking. Better go for dine in.“
