“True Score: 3.75 Stars Cheap Drinks This is the perfect little dive bar if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere. Cheap beers and friendly people make it a must stop. Ended up hanging out for a while with some intriguing (safe) characters. The crowd is looking to get drunk, and that's not a bad thing. Another surprise was some decent grub. My wife and I split a steak sandwich and some naked wings and they were pretty good. If we're in the area we'll definitely stop back in. Thanks“
“You really can't go wrong with any of Red's food.And such reasonable prices compared to other island vendors. My personal favorite is her sweet onions and bacon dog, and her chili with potato sticks. Sounds odd I know, but trust me...she has so many unique toppings to make any combo. Then my other fav is an open faced loaded knish. She also does burgers, and baked potatoes, and thee BEST CUP OF CHILI!!! RUN, DONT WALK!!! YOU'LL BE HOOKED.“

Loved the “sidekick” selection that let me try different burgers, each delicious in their own specific way! Great time opening packs and catching a scrumptious bite! The service was also incredible! “The hubby and I tried Tommy’s in Carteret this afternoon. Homemade chili, no beans. Nice, smooth bit of heat. It was good. I believe they are using a Sabrett hot dog. The onion rings were EXCELLENT! Everything was fresh and very tasty. This family has been selling hot dogs in the Carteret and Rahway area since the very early 1960’s. Jimmy who is the son of the original owner, Tommy was very friendly. He couldn’t have been happier to explain his menu offerings to us, and partake in some friendly conversation. Four hot dogs with two toppings on each, an order of onion rings, and a Diet Coke was $19. There are a couple of outdoor tables to sit at, or a no frills trailer to sit in. It’s not a fancy place, but we weren’t there for fancy. We were there for some good dawgs, and we got them. We will definitely be back for more, and to try the freshly made burgers and cheesesteaks.?“
“Let’s start off with how clever the name of this place is. I wish that the mochi doughnuts were a lil more gummy texture (that’s just my preference) it didn’t taste fresh. Other than that the flavor on top was very delicious. The flavors were strawberry cheesecake, matcha, milk&cookies, tiramisu; blueberry & taro. The Kdogs were amazing especially the sauces they have out by the entrance.. top tier! Definitely coming back for the Kdogs!“
“Came to town on a sports trip at park. This place is amazing! Got a chili,cheese,and dorito...and a chili cheese, fried onion. Both were very good. Very reasonably priced, and the service was outstanding. My new "hot dog joint". THANKS!!!“

You just pull into a parking spot and they will come outside to your car and bring your food and take your order it's like old-school diner I love it.As you all know I am not big on meet I'm a vegetarian so if you like to have hot dogs or hamburgers you get that from here. “Calamari was crunchy but tender & juicy. The fettuccini with short ribs a delicious burst of flavor. For a cocktail I had a violet spritz but I substituted gin for tequila it was amazing to say the least. This is a hidden gem to be completely honest.“

The day my family and I visited, they had 10 flavors available and we enjoyed all, especially the Nutella, Strawberry, and Brown Sugar Milk Tea. “If you've never tried a mochimoly, try one. I don't think I'll eat another donut after eating one of these. It's a cross between a traditional donut and a rice cake but better. Its first a crunch than light like rice. They come in different flavors. The flavoring is in the icing. I got mango and caramel. The Carmel was excellent. The mango was good but not my favorite. The woman in the store was very polite. They also have mochi ice cream and Korean hotdogs. I didn't try either. I will be back and suggest you try it too. They have two other locations. The place was very clean.“

“Hot Dog Hut is your traditional window front hot dog stand. There is no indoor dining here, but there are a couple of tables for quick consumption of your meal. They offer Sabrett's hot dogs, which is a telltale sign that you're going to get a top of the line dog. My pick today was for the garlic potatoes dog. The potatoes were not overpowered by the garlic, as is the case with some other places but only mildly discernable. The dog was, of course, delicious (Hey, it's Sabrett's), and I was pleased for the presence of brown mustard, and not that "Yer Yella" mustard type. For a drink, I took my favorite, C&C soda. The prices are very reasonable, and the gentleman behind the window was most pleasant in his demeanor. “Found the spot by accident just searching the area I was for a hot dog spot, old school food truck in the parking lot of the American Legion plenty of parking. I had the chili dog with onions and cheese and a dog with mustard and kraut, the chili cheese dog was very good the chili was tasty the cheese was a cheese sauce of some kind and the sauerkraut was delicious Price is Right I enjoyed it. Also as there is no seating there I ate it in my vehicle while it was nice and hot he wraps the dogs up in wax paper perfectly there was no mess from the chili or the cheese or even the sauerkraut I was able to eat them in my vehicle nice and warm and not make a mess Kudos Sal!!“

“I recently completed the whole food cleanse and can't say enough good things about how delicious the food is at Fresh Press Juice Company. I've had their juices before and have my favorites (The Healer, Feelin' The Beat, Cold Buster) but I'm really happy to have another option in town to turn to for food. Breakfast options - the overnight oats, granola. tofu scramble, and snack pack of fruit and almond butter were all delicious and filling. For lunch and dinner options, the bean burger is not to be missed as well as all of their soups. The rainbow wraps have the perfect amount of hummus and the kale caesar salad is so good. As much as I love their juice, they offer so much more than just juice! Even my kids love their banana whips. We are so lucky to have them in town! And the staff are always very friendly and helpful.“
