“Great little bar inside the Kenilworth hotel. Hadi, the bartender is a wonderful guy. He has great customer service, he brought us drinks and some free chips to snack on when we were sitting in the lobby area of the hotel. He also let us choose music to have a fun dance party in the bar ! Highly recommend this bar and the service from hadi. Thank you for a great night!!!!“

“In our search for a Sunday brunch outdoors, we ended up here and were blown away by the quality of the service and the food. From the moment we sat down, Luis and the rest of the staff attended to every detail and went above and beyond to create an outstanding experience. “Fornos is a solid Ironbound, Newark institution, which continuously delivers now for decades. It is one of the better Spanish-Portuguese ‘style' restaurants in the area. It stands out for its variety, quality, and service. It is a bit more expensive than other similar style restaurants in Newark; but once again, they deliver on both service and quality. Standby regular dishes, classics, and specials give the diner a wide variety to choose from. When in doubt which restaurant to chose from, go back to one of the original longstanding classics. “An opinion only. The food is good. But, they made it clear that they did not value me and my patronage. My sandwich was stuffed with french fries to justify their pricing. The cashier said she asked if I wanted it "Greek style" when she did not. (Not even sure what Greek style" is). And put the wrong sauce on my falafel. They did not like to be made aware of my service issue. They did not value me as a customer, shown by the way they spoke to me, so I will not be going back. That's a shame too. This was maybe my 3rd time ordering. No matter how good the food I can not spend money where I do not feel valued as a customer.“

“small ramen with big flavors. I enjoyed everything from the chill atmosphere to amazing food. the blend of Peruvian cuisine with traditional Japanese dishes is a match made in foodie heaven. I had the double fried wings and sloppy joe bao bun for a starter and each dish was better than the last. the wings were super crispy yet tender inside and the sloppy joe bao buns were a trip down memory lane. the sloppy brought me back to my childhood eating at a friend's house. for my ramen I had the tonkatu. their pork broth was hearty and tasteful and reminded me of my first bowl of real ramen. I highly recommend going there and finding out on your own...“

“I stopped in here on the way to the airport during a delay due to the earthquake. I had the bombas, they were the star of the show !!! But they were not hot, luke warm and cold. The pulpio was ok, somone called it the best thing on menu. I hope that is not the case !! The empanadas were too hot lol they took forever to cool down.“

“So I had a rough start to my day, was in the mood to have a drink that evening so I stopped by this place on the way from work. Sat at the bar where Josh greeted me, real genuine dude i have to say. I had some stuff to vent out and he definitely was there to listen. He fixed up my drinks really well and offered me the food menu. Let me tell, you guys can’t pass up on the cheesesteak spring rolls. That’s all I’m gonna say, the entire menu speaks for itself and it didn’t skip my expectations. I’ll take my buddies back here whenever I get the chance that’s for sure!“

“I love this place. They always have great and fresh food. My favorite has to be the vegetable ramen. It’s so delicious, their chicken wings are flavorful and guns texture is pretty good. I love their bubble tea as well. I order through Uber eats majority of the time, I wonder if I can directly order from this restaurant though. I think I’ll find that out. Today I ordered the matcha green tea bubble tea, usually I order the mango milk bubble tea. They must remember because Uber gave me a complimentary mango bubble tea. This place is highly recommended by me. 10 stars“

“Can I just say WOW!!!! Been waiting to come here for quite some time, and it far surpassed every expectation I had!! Staff was lovely! Creative, DELICIOUS appetizers... We tried several, and seriously each one was SOOO GOOD!!! I'm a huge fan of Detroit style pizza, and it was cooked to perfection! Dessert was absolutely phenomenal as well! One of the best meals I've had in some time, from start to finish! They even had live music upstairs, which was such a nice surprise! Can't wait for our next trip back!!! “Great environment. Good service. The inside is nice & they have a cute outdoor space in the back. They provide complimentary bread with tomato spread. The spread is very well flavored, with a tiny bit of a kick. I would guess it’s tomatoes, olive oil, fresh pepper, fresh garlic, & a touch of salt. The ham & cheese croquetas are delicious & creamy. The tortilla española is flavorful & comes with a little bit of greens, but I drizzled the tomato spread over it for a bit more flavor. The crema catalana was delicious. I only wish it came with more strawberries. 100% returning.Vegetarian options: They offer numerous vegetarian options.“

“We had the best time. Isa was the best waitress. So polite and informative. We just stopped in for lunch and had the most unexpected amazing experience. The service was so professional and so amazing, and I can’t say enough about Isa. The food was amazing. It was an expensive lunch but so so worth it for the quality, experience, and environment. We had the tuna tartare, the prime rib wrap and the crème brûlée with some of their seasonal cocktails. It was the best!“

“Overall a very good experience. Good was for the most part well prepared and presented. Calamari was had too many peppers which made it a little bit difficult to eat but still was good. Short ribs was a good but overpriced with just one piece of meat. Still would recommend the place without reservation.“

“As a patron of the Tenafly location, I wanted to try the Montclair locale. Parking isn't great around there but we managed. The cocktails were good. There was a grilled octopus plate served with a salad as an appetizer and it was delicious! Most of the entrees were seasoned okay but nothing stood out. One of our 5 dishes came out wrong but corrected within 5 minutes. The original dish was meant for another table and we got the correct plate quickly. Noise level was normal for a Friday night. Very nice ambiance - decor wise. Would return.“

“My family was in town for a funeral, so we stopped into this place randomly for lunch. I checked the reviews, of course, and it was ok. Some good, some not so good. Either way, we went in because it was close, and we had a big party of about 30-40 ppl. They not only took us in, but they also offered us a deal of $35 pp. It was a great deal. The apps were delicious, the service was fast, and the entrees were very good. Food came out fast for the number of ppl we had. The bartenders and servers went all out, and they did an amazing job. we took over that place, and they let us do our thing.Thank you all for making our family after the funeral last minute lunch stress free so we can cry, eat, drink and catch up.“

“Went there with girlfriend she had sushi I had steak ?? perfect combination. Staff was friendly sangria was very cheap compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood $22 for a full pitcher . Passion fruit caipirinhas we're the best , loved the desserts“

“Came here COMPLETELY at random. We decided to leave for dinner with absolutely no destination in mind, only an area where we would look. Found somewhere to try, but when we parked we saw this place tucked in the corner. Walked in and loved the decor & the vibe. Medium sized venue, that has that hidden gem feel. Dim mood lighting, smooth music, & friendly staff. They also have Karaoke rooms in the back. I went back there & took a look since they weren't in use. We ordered the Half & Half Wings (1/2 Soy Garlic, 1/2 Spicy Soy Garlic), Snowcorn Roll, & Bulgogi Sliders. Everything was excellent. Glad we didn't waste our random outing. “This is my second time coming here first time was with the girls this time was with my boyfriend we were sitting by the bar we asked for a seat in the back they didn’t give it to us because of a big party coming but the party was in the front we could’ve sat in the back I had the birria pizza it was food but just to much cheese drinks 10/10 had the white tea shot and the humble mojito when server was great but I didn’t like how we was getting rushed to leave out it makes me just want to keep going to Johnny tequila and not here they are more welcoming and wouldn’t rush us outKid-friendliness: Was friday but didn’t like that we were being rushed out just for them to give our table to someone else we was only there for a hour when the hosts could’ve sat us in the back like I asked when we first came in the first time I came the hosts was very Friday and nice and welcoming“

“I hosted my daughter's 1st Holy Communion party here and everything including the food, drinks, service and communication was absolutely wonderful. We had close to 80 people attend. I will definitely be using them again for future events as well as personal dining.“
