“Maloney’s is known for their excellent beer selection and they never disappoint. They have a decent selection on their food menu all of which is very tasty and well prepared. If you like shrimp they have a Portuguese shrimp dish which is always amazing as it is served in a bread bowl with some amazing gravy. The Maloney burger is another classic that you should try as it is an excellent burger served on an English muffin. The atmosphere is dark and cozy and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is an actual bar there as well with high top tables if you want to go by yourself.Kid-friendliness: They have a decent kids menu for those particular eaters. Even their pizza is a good flatbread version.“
“Very grateful for Joyce’s tavern and their staff. We were able to enjoy a great meal in between viewings for my grandpas wake around back at Scalias.Joyces was ready for all 25+ of us. Ken was behind the bar and served us quickly. The wait staff was amazing and brought out the food as quickly as we ordered it to ensure we made it back for the next session. The food was amazing as always. Corned beef was the #1 ordered item and everyone was blown away.Thank you Joe, Joe and Kenny“
“Delicious food! My friends and I came here for the Bachelor finale on a Monday night and they had it on all the tvs plus a large projector in the back room which was great! PROS: 1. Best mozzarella sticks I've ever had, each stick had a nice thick piece of mozzarella, they were crispy, marinara dipping sauce was tasty as well 2. Delicious chicken tenders, classic diner style, wide and flat pieces of chicken, crispy, just how I like em! 3. Large projector screen in the back room with speakers, we had no problem seeing or hearing the Bachelor! CONS: 1. The service was pretty slow, it seemed like there was only one server there who was also the bartender but since this was on a Monday night, it's probably not usually as busy as it was when I went Besides the food I mentioned, we also had the garlic/butter pretzel with beer cheese and mustard which I enjoyed but the rest of my group found that the cheese was weird and not typical beer cheese. We also got Mac and cheese balls which I didn't try so can't comment and for dessert we had the smores brownie which was basic, I probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, I definitely want to come back, it's only been one day and I'm already craving the chicken fingers and mozz sticks“
“Great neighborhood Irish Pub serving typical bar food along with their famous homemade "Irish" nachos and reuben egg rolls.Service at the bar is always great with the best bartenders who are both friendly and helpful. Dowlings is a MUST when there is entertainment scheduled or during football season. Great watering hole to meet up with friends and enjoy a drink or two!“
“We had our son’s first birthday party upstairs in The Loft this past weekend. Everything was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, the staff were there to help every step of the way and the space itself is beautiful. We were even able to set up a soft play area which kept the kids occupied from start to finish. We took a chance not knowing anyone else who hosted a party here and I am so glad we did. Thank you for the most perfect day for our boy!“
