“New ownership looks like a good move. Was surprised to see our Italian wrapped in boars head paper. If all your meats are boars head you should advertise that. Sandwich was quite robust for $14. As we are fans of both Tastee and Hoagie Haven this was a contender. (Seriously it was a very well constructed sandwich) Feedback would be more onions and sharper provolone. (Board head should have more kick than what was on there)Unclear what online ordering is operational, and the store ambiance and customer service was a bit off. The ordering terminals we fine, but would be nice to be able to order online for pickup in store without using one of the deliver apps. Also given how robust the menu is, what is offered when? Nice job. We will be back again.“
“Hammy! These Classic Ham sandwiches are a revelation. For $6.50, a little more than you'd pay for some fast food, you get a delicious, made to order sandwich with three slices of thick cut, tender salty ham, with super crisp lettuce, two slices of off the vine tomatoes, a slice of cheese, with a generous slather of mayo on top between an airy bun. On first bite, FRESH is the adjective that comes to mind describing this sandwich. All ham and veggies work together and standout. At this price point, it would be challenging to find a better sandwich. If I had one issue, and it's somewhat nit picky, I'd say the bun was a little nondescript and somewhat forgettable but at least it left the ham to be the star as it should be. The staff at this location were friendly and quick. This is great "fast food" to get you back on your way and back to work or wherever you need to be.“
“Without exception, this is the best Deli (catering too) on the east coast. If you're looking for a great sandwich on great bread, this is your place. Prepared food is top notch too. Genuinely surprised there aren't more of these around, but that speaks to the family aspect. Joe Chiarello struck gold here, and his family has kept the standard as high all these years. “One of the best sandwiches I've ever had in the area. Reasonably priced and the sandwiches were loaded with deliciousness. I almost wished they gave me a whole bagel instead of half of the bagel considering how much avocado they packed on top. The egg white turkey bacon sandwich is solid and flavorful. Will definitely return to try other options. There are a good amount of tables inside and also a few outdoor tables.“

“Was in the area and decided to give this place a try. The parking lot was packed which made me feel like the food definitely had to be good. Upon entrance the store is broken down into two parts. The first is the lottery side and the other is the deli ( bodega) side.Although there were people ahead of me it didn't take long to place my order. I got the chopped cheese sandwich along with wings and fries. I never had chopped cheese before so when asked how I want it? I told them to make it however they normally do.The chopped cheese came with lettuce which was my only issue ( my own fault ??) after removing most of it the sandwich was bussin!!! The wings and fries I wasn't a fan of as I like crispy and crunchy fries and the wings to have more flavor.“
