“We enjoyed the appys, salad and entrees. The brownie sundae was a great ending to the meal, but the very best was our server, Kyle. He was alert to our our server needs, was flexible and professional while personable. We would sit at his table anytime. - Three ladies of the round table.“
“On our drive home from Pennsylvania, we decided to get off of the highway and try to find something new... and I am glad we did! We had a wonderful hostess/batrtender/waitress named Casey. What a beautiful place with a lot of history. We will definitely go back and try the food. Cheers ?“
“Food: my food was great with one exception, the bun! Was it stale? It might have been unless the bun textures have changed since I last consumed it not too long ago! Service: it is very friendly and welcoming. They are attentive as well. Value: it was reasonable. If you are getting drinks you may end up paying more than $50 per person for dinner. Parking: this is an old bank so ample parking around it. Notables: the old vault is not a dining room, you can probably reserve it for special occasions. There was also an unidentified smell in the restaurant. It was not pleasant to me but my wife did not seem to notice.“
“Matt’s Red Rooster is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism from the incredible servers. Dan, in particular, always exceeds expectations with his impeccable service. The farm-to-table concept truly shines here, with each dish bursting with freshness and flavor. Whether it’s seafood or steak, every bite is cooked to perfection. And their bread pudding is always so unique but delicious. We also love their unique grilled romaine salad. I appreciate how they adapt their menus with the seasons, ensuring a fresh culinary experience every visit. Matt’s Red Rooster has quickly become our go-to spot, and we’ve never been disappointed. Highly recommend!“
“We were there for a Birthday party on the lower level. The staff did a better than expected job. The bar service was fast even though there was only one bartender. The food was buffet style and very good. I don't know the history of this building, but it looks like it may be an old pub style structure from many years ago. It is well kept. If we didn't live an hour and a half away, we would visit more often.“
“Perfect View restaurant and had an exceptional dining experience. The Mediterranean salad, featuring perfectly roasted shrimp, was a standout. Additionally, the lemon panini, accompanied by a fresh parsley or coriander sauce, and the crispy buttermilk chicken were delectable. A highlight was the homemade-tasting French fries. The ambiance of the restaurant is stunning, offering outdoor seating with a unique view of planes taking off and landing. It's also worth noting that this place caters well to vegetarian preferences.Kid-friendliness: View of planes landing n taking off along with your favourite fries“
“Ok, I’ll skip the ‘hidden gem’ cliche (but it really is special and not on the MSR). Classic country cafe feel from help yourself coffee genuinely friendly wait-staff. Fast service on top of good simple fare and at acceptable pricing.Try it, it may become a weekly habit.“
“The Grill at the Pittstown Inn is definitely in the top 5 restaurants I have been to since I came to the US in September of last year. Trust me, that’s saying a lot since I live in New York, and everyone knows how many good restaurants there are in the city. I had the steak bites and the zaafrani chicken tikka for apps and the Alexandria burger for mains, and I have to say everything was just awesome. The restaurant makes everything from scratch and the burger patty is amazingly fresh. But, it’s not just the food that makes this place special, it’s the owners. Gary and Bani are both exceptional hosts and really make you feel like you’re just having a meal at your own home. So to whoever is reading this, you should definitely give this place a try and trust me, you won’t regret it.“
“Great local place with large selection of draft beers, home style cooked meals, and great appetizers. From the Soprano Sandwich to the scratch made Chicken Pot Pie, you can’t go wrong here. This used to be a legendary dive known as the Neshanic Inn that closed prior to Covid, only to be reopened as Riverside about five years ago. Its menu has evolved since then and I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had there since. The owners are hard working people that strive to offer a down to earth, yet quality vibe.“
“We have had the pleasure of working with Ryland Inn many times, and each time we are there, they continue to exceed all expectations! The entire team at Ryland Inn consistently delivers outstanding service and you can tell that every couple's wedding day is nothing short of absolutely exceptional. The beautifully manicured grounds and landscape provides the most idyllic photos. Not to mention, the food is exquisite! The romantic charm of this venue is truly unmatched and we are absolutely sure that any couples’ wedding will be unforgettable. We genuinely encourage couples to choose Ryland Inn as their wedding venue, we know you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a gorgeous and quaint venue, then look no further than Ryland Inn!“
“Excellent family atmosphere to dine in. Our greeting when my family and I walked in was so welcoming. The waitress were very nice and friendly. They looked like they enjoyed working there. The food was very flavorful and not overpowered with salt. The buffalo chicken egg roll was delicious. My little one enjoyed the mac n cheese with a grilled cheese (just cheddar). I ate some of her meal too! LOL. I had the meatloaf with mash and gravy and sauteed green beans. This entree hit the spot. My husband had the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were lightly coated and seasoned just enough. Now I know when people hear GF dessert, they're turned off. Nope, the GF Black and white cake for dessert was very moist, lightly sweetened, and delicious. This place was fantastic. I will return and recommend that you try it.“
“I can't believe Kitchen has been opened for 2 years and last night was my FIRST TIME there! What an awesome experience; surely I will be making up for lost time... loved my favorite drink on the menu (Aperol Spritz) with a lovely splash of Chambord for starters. Menu was simple, but creative. The pretzel was sumptuously buttery, the wings juicy w/4 different sauces, the shishito peppers perfection! Loved my hot honey chicken sandwich and the fries were addictive. And yes, what the reviews say about Jessica were spot on! Playful, knowledgeable, not over-bearing... 5+☆'s. Can't wait to go back!“
“One of my favorite Brunch, Dinner, and event spaces. From the delicious food to the wonderful staff, my experience at Stoney Brook has always been above and beyond. Ioanna and Katina go the extra mile to ensure any event I've held at the restaurant has gone smoothly. Would recommend to everyone and also Bingo night is fun!!“
“I attended an end of basketball season party here, this is such a beautiful and inviting place, it is nicely decorated, very clean and there is ample parking. I plan on visiting again during spring break for lunch. The menu is full of lunchtime favorites for adults and kids and the pricing is very reasonable. I will update this review with more pics and more details of the food when I return. The story behind Allie’s added an extra layer of sweetness?Kid-friendliness: The decor and kid menu option.“
“Bagels are great!!! We had an everything with lox, onions, capers, and tomato. A lot of seasoning on the bagel which is a must. The slight crunch on the bagel was great. Edward the owner suggest not toasting it because it already has a nice crust. If you like toasted, go for it, it won’t make it too crunchy. We also had a sesame with the cherry pepper cream cheese; such a good idea for the cream cheese perfectly spicy with the sweetness of the cream cheese. Amazing, check them out. Will come back to check out their breakfast sandwich.“
“A friend recommended we stop at this Irish themed tavern for lunch because the food is so good. She wasn't lying! Everything was delicious. It was a Sunday afternoon, and the place was hopping, very busy. Even so, service was great, fast, accurate, and served with a smile. Plenty of staff, all helping out each other and very nice. Definitely going back.Parking: Some parking spaces in front, but there is more parking out back.Wheelchair accessibility: No curbs or stairs to get in, but seating is close together, not much aisle room. Could be difficult to maneuver.“
“Great food and great service. We had the Flos filet 6 oz, baby back ribs, and French onion soup. Everything was delicious and prepared expertly. We especially liked the ribs.We unfortunately thought the boneless pork chops were too dry and said that to the waiter. He apologized and took it off our bill.“
“That's is my favorite place to get my work lunch from good food and great prices. There cheeseburgers only cost 3.7 but taste like a 4 star burger. The ladies that work there are very polite and accommodate my needs for speedy service on my way to work. Mind you I reheat my burgers 3 to 6 hours later and their still delicious. One time my girlfriend took me to lost ladies grill for lunch. The environment was perfect for a lunch date. Afterwards we walked a few stores down and looked at antiques.Parking: Parking is abundant and freeKid-friendliness: It's a quiet, fiftys sixtys kind of a setting with 2 out door tables 3 indoor booths“
“The best staff! Always super friendly, the food is always great (the best fries!), they have great live music and it's a really chill, welcoming atmosphere. Pool table out back, front patio to enjoy in nice weather... It's the best bar in town, by far and I always recommend this place to everyone. Savannah, Paola and Ajay are the best!“
“I've gotten bagels and breakfast sandwiches here many times over the years. It's really good. I definitely recommend the french toast bagel, as well as the BEC w/ SPK on a hard roll, well done. This is definitely one of many bagel places around Northern New Jersey, that make it one of the dopest places in the whole entire world to live. ♡“
“An old Flemington school coffee shop reopened August 2023. Went for breakfast, delicious! Mel was my server, she was spot on with her service, I sat at the counter. It's way way better than the diner across town for breakfast. They are now serving dinner, Thursday, Friday, Saturday! Come on in and give them a try, it's delicious and reasonably priced!Vegetarian options: A vegetarian would find plenty to eat here!Dietary restrictions: They will make it any way you like!Parking: Lots of free parking, right next door to staples!Kid-friendliness: Kids will find lots of options here!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in, easy out, bathroom night be tight.“
“I stopped in for a meal with my daughter and we were sat immediately. People were smiling, talking and enjoying the day, it was a nice experience. I ordered pork & cheese on a roll with cheese fries and gravy and my daughter got chicken fingers and fries. Our portions were enough that we brought some home. The food was cooked perfectly in my opinion and the gravy was so good I even asked for a container to take it with me. Even though it was a busy time of the day for the diner, our server was very polite, accurately took our orders that came back out under 10 minutes and made sure our meals were prepared to our desire. I will definitely return again, because I loved how our food tasted and how we were treated.“
“We go here regularly and happy with the experience and food. The beef barbacoa nachos are the bomb and specials are usually very good. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu really. We've had Jackson as a server last couple of visits and he's fantastic. Pleasant, responsive and attentive. Highly recommend a visit.Dine in: Yes“
“The burgers were ok,nothing special being I'm a butcher. The service was superb!!It's a nice place for date night with your wife or girlfriend,it's laid back! One thing that bothers me when we go out is everything still over priced!!This inflation is out of control, this dinner should have cost about $45.00 including TIP.They say things are getting better, where I ask??Things were so much better beforeParking: leaving the pub is a bit difficult pulling out onto traffic!“
“Came to flemington for a birthday and we decided to stay the weekend and came here for Saturday brunch and the food and service was great! It's a charming restaurant. We were greeted by the staff and started off with coffee. Then I got the kahlua French toast and my wife got the steak omlette, every dish came with a side of fresh fruit. Everything was delicious and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. They also have an assortment of baked goods and cheeses. Would love to come again and try more brunch options.“
“It was packed last night and we had to wait for our table however they did a great thing by offering us a round of drinks while we waited. They were also out of some wines and offered us reasonable alternatives. Food was very good. Thanks for handling the situation so well.“
“My wife and I love Finnagels! We love the staff (especially the waitress Jeanette...she's the absolute best!), the food is good and the beer is cold! Perfect Place to go hang out, relax and watch the game! Do yourself a favor and go!!! We will be lifelong customers!“
“Great place good people. Only giving it four stars for the one wicked witch bartender that works there. Most of the bartenders are great however, Sasha, the other one that looks shockingly like a man is a disgrace to bartenders nationwide. Love everyone else though and the darts are fun to play with.“
“Our first time eating here last night before we bowled. Wow, our food was absolutely delicious !!! The salads were fresh and crisp, my pasta was top notch and the burger was huge and delicious . Alyssa our waitress was helpful and friendly. We will be back :)“
“Not sure why everything was super expensive but it was good and service was amazing. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but staying at hotel and too cold outside to go anywhere I definitely would eat here. Just want to say thank you to the people that prepared my French toast, it was so good.“
