“Stumbled upon on way to Dunkin for coffee...tried a slice of Nonna pizza and knew we had to order dinner.Nonna Pizza huge and one of the best we have had in NJ. Perfectly crisp and the pizza gravy excellent!Grilled Portobello Mushroom Salad huge fresh housemade balsamic decentChicken Sorrentino huge dish nice wine sauce al dente penneNice side salad and huge loaf of garlic bread included“
“We enjoyed the appys, salad and entrees. The brownie sundae was a great ending to the meal, but the very best was our server, Kyle. He was alert to our our server needs, was flexible and professional while personable. We would sit at his table anytime. - Three ladies of the round table.“
“Ordered six slices and a soda for $17. Not too bad. The have tables inside and outside, there’s more than pizza to order but it’s super clean. The BBQ chicken slice was good and the cheese slice was excellent. It was a perfect Jersey slice. The pepper and onion slice was just okay, the onion were really raw… which took away from their sweetness. All and all, it was worth it!“
“I went to a dinner one night. I went to Rosemarie’s Cucina in Clinton NJ. The food was delicious and they buy the food every morning. It opens at 5:00 but you can go earlier if you want coffee and bake goods. You can still get baked goods if you go later. That’s why you should go to Rosemarie’s Cucina.“
“I visited Marinelli's for dinner with a friend this weekend and it was OH-SO-GOOD! I had the delectable Chicken Kristine and my friend ordered the Eggplant Tower and we shared. What an absolutely delicious dinner! The lemon blueberry cake we shared for dessert also did not disappoint. The next time I'm in the Flemington area I will definitely make a stop at Marinelli's. : )“
“My kids have grown up on Virami’s. When they were little, Virami’s was the friendliest place to take them and the food was always amazing. Jersey pizza ? done right! And as they got older they still went to Virami’s on their own because it’s a community staple AND it’s that good. Virami’s is my go to when the family needs dinner & I can’t cook or need a break from making dinner ? I’ts always a hit in our house big time. Garlic knots, salad pizza and of course the classics. Something for everyone from the best pizza spot in the area. Hands. Down.We are so lucky to have Virami’s in our town & it is always delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I'm thrilled to share our wonderful experience at Campania Pizza & Deli! Their calamari, veal, and pizza are clearly top-notch. It's always great to find a place that consistently delivers excellent Italian cuisine. Thanks for your hard work!!!“
“Well, now we can no longer get "pizza to go" near us. Instead, if we want pizza, we drive 20 minutes (passing numerous other pizzarias) to get pizza here. Luckily, they have a few tables for those of us that live too far to take it to go. It is definitely the best pizza ever!!!“
“What a nice place for lunch or dinnerRob and his staff are always friendly and politeThe pizza is great as well as the sandwichesToday our office staff got to enjoy a chicken parm meal with a fantastic saladWhenever we have an office meeting with staff this is our go to place. Thanks guys !!!“
“Owners and staff are always sweet. Small town vibes at the register. They will talk with you like a real person and will happily make your order the way you ask.Sandwiches and slices of pizza are always on point. You know how every place has their own style? Well, I like theirs. The ratios of dough, sauce, and cheese are how I like it.The bread on the sandwiches is always fresh and soft and tasty.Catering prices aren't outrageous, either.Oh, and they do their own deliveries for those averse to the outrageous markups for the door dash, etc. (I'm guessing local/close delivery only, but still. They get major points for that from me!)“
“This is the best Italian restaurant in the area. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is just so kind. Every time we come here we feel so welcomed and well taken care of. Truly love supporting this business and so glad we found it when we moved here!“
“Pino is awesome Greets all his customers and knows them all that is so important and I'm sure all his customers appreciate his big smile when they enter the restaurant The food is fresh and well prepared Great location as well, don't forget BYOB Liquor store right next door which is extremely convenient Highly recommend this cozy restaurant“
“Carlucci's Bistro has earned its way into my top rotation. We recently discovered this gem and have been back several times. You like pizza? Go now! The Fungi pizza is other worldly, provided you like mushrooms. Don't like shrooms? Any other pizza will make you happy. The eggplant rollatini - magic. Antipasto salad is solid. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. If you enjoy great food, great humans, and a great BYOB, then high-tail it to Carlucci's. Go now.“
“The gentleman at the counter knew the customers by name and vice versa. I ordered an x-large pie to go, grabbed a Coke and tried a slice on the ride home. WOW....this pizza is exceptional! Friendly staff. Clean and relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back. If you haven't tried them, do yourself a favor. You wont be disappointed. If you like pizza, this place is for you. Wish I ordered two.“
“Nick and family are amazing. I've been getting pizza, pasta, salad, and sides from Roman's pizza for years now. Always ALWAYS GOOD food, always delivered on time with a smile, always super tasty. Their pizza and pasta is really great but pro tip, their salad is always super fresh!! Also try their wings, ugh so good. Thank you guys, will continue to order from you for years and years. You are the best!“
“This place is absolutely amazing! We booked them to host our engagement party and everything was super easy and seamless. The owner assisted us in setting up, they made the food and pizzas fresh for us. The ambiance is amazing and the food is DELICIOUS! We are very picky about our pizza but they fully exceeded our expectations. We had such an amazing time and will continue to go to this place. Thank you all for hosting our event we loved it all!PS. the variety and specials they offer is unmatched!“
“A friend recommended we stop at this Irish themed tavern for lunch because the food is so good. She wasn't lying! Everything was delicious. It was a Sunday afternoon, and the place was hopping, very busy. Even so, service was great, fast, accurate, and served with a smile. Plenty of staff, all helping out each other and very nice. Definitely going back.Parking: Some parking spaces in front, but there is more parking out back.Wheelchair accessibility: No curbs or stairs to get in, but seating is close together, not much aisle room. Could be difficult to maneuver.“
“Am amazing pizza place and so much more! Great daily specials! We like the Italian hoagie and their cheese steak. But they have many many other menu items! Great dinners, great salads, amazing appetizers too! Everyone will find something to eat here, even the kids. Pizza is darn good too!Vegetarian options: They will make anything you like!Kid-friendliness: Lots of menu items for the kids!Parking: It get busy at times, but there is always a place to park!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in easy out!Dietary restrictions: They will make it any way you please!“
“Amazing food!!!! Amazing staff!!!! My favorite it the pizza dough burgers and the cheese steaks.Just an FYI, when posting a review, please be sure to post food that is actually from the restaurant. Recently, The Drift posted.......all false “
“Good Italian classics in a nice, new premise. Some things can use improvement: Volcano shrimp was tasty although the ratio of 7 shrimp to an extremely large bed of mashed potatoes was disappointing. The chicken parm dish comes with a side of penne vodka which I thought was nice although it was very light in color and tasted different than penne vodka dish also ordered. Finally there was a ring around the toilet bowl in the ladies room, making me ponder the cleanliness of the establishment as a whole? Also this is a BYOB!“
“Food was delicious! We had pierogi, a short rib gnocchi and chicken with brussel sprouts. All were great. Sorry no pictures to share as we were there for a baptism dinner and we were all enthralled with the baby. The restaurant is baby friendly! We don't live around here but we would definitely recommend it and we hope to visit again!Kid-friendliness: We had the baby there and it was great“
“trattoria uno....my favorite place, every time I go... I order seafood combo omg...I can't wait, I already want to come back from Miami to enjoy my pasta with seafood again...the cooks know exactly what They do...the owner Angelo is super friendly, the best thing of all is that he is Chivas de Guadalajara “
“Love, love, love the food here. I'm a pizza snob and I haven't found a better pizza in the area. It doesn't stop there, though. The sandwiches are fabulous, namely the Buffalo chicken wrap and the appetizers have been great as well.“
“Grew up in the area and our school always got Rosatas for “pizza Friday” was the best treat ever compared to mid grade frozen school pizza. They always supplied our basketball parties with amazing pizza at a great prices as well . My family always ordered here whenever we got pizza from and the wait time was always great compared to other local places especially for how busy they are and if your picking your pizza up the staff especially the owner are amazing (only great experience with delivery drivers and wait times aswell). If your stopping through town and need a slice, large amount for party, delivery, etc call Rosatas for the best experience possible and best cheese pie Jersey.“
“Great, great place. The pizza is phenomenal, my husband and I frequent at least once a week. Their Il forno calamari is so good. If you want a little change from regular fried calamari, you have have to try. Just a an all around great place to eat. We're so thrilled to have a new place in town so close by.“
“This was my first time eating at this Route 22 West restaurant that was formally Kirsten’s. The interior looked very similar with the traditional and Neapolitan pizza oven from the former proprietor. The interior was well lit upon our arrival at 5:45pm and then the lights dimmed around 7:15pm. There is amble seating and the place filled up by 6:30pm. Their menu is rather large which may be why the call themselves Galasso (translates in English to galaxy). Note, it is a BYOB restaurant. Our order included Calamari Alla Arrabbiata - fresh calamari prepared in a Fra Diavolo sauce served over linguine ($23.95), two salmon specials ($28.95 each), and Linguine Alla Pescatora - middle neck clams, P.E.I. mussels, sea scallops & jumbo shrimp sautéed w/garlic in a pomodoro sauce or choice of arrabbiata sauce served over linguini ($30.95). What I Liked: - Our waitress was relatively new and made up for her learning curve with a great personality - The homemade, small bread loaves were very good. - All meals come with a complimentary house salad which was basic but sufficient - The salmon was considered excellent. It was made with artichoke hearts, capers, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. The piece was larger than you usually get when dining out. - The calamari in the Calamari Alla Arrabbiata were in their natural state and not breaded which makes their texture stand on its own. They passed the test and worked well with the Fra Diavolo sauce. - The Linguine Alla Pescatora was a hearty dish. There were four clams, four mussels, four shrimp and four sea scallops. The linguine was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were firm but tender and the scallops were a respectable size. - Although full, the restaurant was not noisy What I Did Not Like: - For the Linguine Alla Pescatora, I asked for the arrabbiata sauce and was served the garlic in a pomodoro sauce instead - The shells of the mussels in the Linguine Alla Pescatora were very large but the actual mussels were very small. Basically, all show and no substance. The clams themselves were also smaller than what I would have expected for a middle neck clam. Again, the shells were large. The sea scallops had an ammonia after taste which means they were old. - The tables have a limited surface area so it is very tight when the food arrives After the meal, I let our server know about the scallops. She did speak with the kitchen and said they apologized and threw out their scallops as a precaution. They also took the full price of the meal off the bill which was not expected and an over-the-top gesture of how they do business. This speaks in volumes about why you should support their restaurant. Not many places would do what they did. You usually get “a sorry” or a free piece of stale cake. My Italian Scallion culinary rating is 7.3/10 cloves of garlic. My overall restaurant rating is 8.2/10. Upon leaving, I spoke with the Pizza Boss about his pizza and will definitely be back for it in the near future. Anyone who puts their pizza in a 550-degree gas oven gets my attention.“
