“The BTI is a favorite local spot! The environment is warm and inviting and the customer service is great! We love the selection of beers on draft and all the changing craft beer options. Drinks are always well done. The menu has great comforting food options as well as some creative weekly specials! The Mac and cheese bites and the meatball parm sandwich are two of my favorites! They often are super accommodating to any dietary needs or requests as well! We come here often and will continue to do so! Stop by if you are in the area!“

“Traveling through Jersey, looking for a place for lunch. Found Uncle Buck's. The nice Young lady says find a seat. Comes over takes our drink order, the first thing you notice this is filled with local regulars. You step back in time. It's such a wonderful atmosphere, having people talking and asking how the family, as first timers you get the friendly look from all the regulars and everyone goes back to business. Ordered a turkey bacon club and a roast beef club. You again travel back, a fully packed sandwich of roast beef, bacon (perfectly cooked) lettuce and mayonnaise on toasted white bread. The turkey club was just as packed full. Something you don't get in some of the bigger places. Top everything off with a root beer soda and they give you a small bag of chips. Prices were on point. Nothing fancy and to wait for service is not a problem, because I would also spent time with my locals that frequent this place for a good number of years. You can sit and listen to the local people and their stories. Great diner, great food and great people. I can't wait to go for breakfast. Give them a try...“

The food was really good and plentiful, I started with the chicken queseda, and actually had to make that the entire meal; u wasn't sure if I was hoping you going to finish it.I did have to request some extra salsa, but the server was right on top of it. The ladies that work there are very polite and accommodate my needs for speedy service on my way to work. “Great food and atmosphere. I originally came in for a Guinness, not knowing I would order food. After looking at the menu, I was torn between the Steak with the onion sauce or the Beef Shephard's pie. I ended up with the second option, which was the right choice to go with my beer--cheesy, filled with gravy, and thick with mashed potatoes. And the food didn't take long; it came within 10 minutes. The staff was expedient and attentive to their work. They have a variety of drinks and beer, but you can't go wrong with a Guinness at an Irish bar. Different TVs have different channels to keep you entertained. 100% would go back and maybe order the steak next time. Overall, 10/10.“

“Hidden Gem we found on our way from NYC to the Poconos. The owner, Mattar, who has been running this great restaurant for 40 years, seated us. Very nice ambiance and a robust menu. The most difficult part was deciding between so many delicious choices. We settled on sharing the Goat Cheese and Beet salad, cheddar broccoli soup, mushroom flatbread, and the short ribs, followed up with cappuccino. We loved everything and can't wait to come back. “I am from the west coast and was visiting family that live in the area. Went to check out this bagel place and was blown away. Friendly and helpful staff members, we got our order within 5min of placing it. I ordered a blueberry bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, sausage, egg, and cheese. “This is an amazing old fashioned diner, it's on the side of the road next to the river , the food is delicious and the portions are large,I especially like their omelets and the french fries and everything is always fresh and tasty and the service is great and the atmosphere is very nice, it's also famous for being in the Friday the thirteenth movie, the burgers and hot dogs and chili is always delicious, you can also buy shirt's and hat's from the movie Friday the thirteenth there,I have also met the owner and he is a very nice guy, they also have outdoor seating and I definitely recommend the blairstown diner , you must come and try it out you won't be disappointed!!“

This coffee stop is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and very welcoming - especially important for cyclists. The coffee and treats were varied & delicious. “My family came for the grand opening ! The new owners cook amazing! You can get Mexican like nothing I have ever had , right down to diner classics like melts , burgers and eggs . “I grew up with my parents taking my brother and l to this Friendly’s location, usually a celebration or simply a night off of cooking for my mom. Because of this, l always associated Friendly’s with happy times and have a deep affection for the chain. I understand the intervening years since the 1980’s have not been kind to the company, but they continue on and so do we. Tonight my wife and l had dinner here. The food was simple and tasty just as it’s always been. Our server, Lis, was a delightful young woman, pleasant and efficient and on point. And what trip to Friendly’s would be complete without some ice cream? That l can enjoy a meal and the same Reese’s Pieces sundae l remember 40 years later pleases me immensely. I do hope Friendly’s can pull off a turn around. It would be a shame for this piece of Americana to vanish. If you haven’t been to Friendly’s in a while, why not stop by and support this local establishment? I’m glad l did.“

“Our entrees were very good and the portions were just right. Our waiter was excellent and didn't check on us very 2 minutes., but was there for drink replenishment when required. My only complaint was the drink prices, thought $5.00 for Miller Lite was a little steep and will keep my future refills to a minimum.“

“My wife and I sampled a variety of dishes to help us determine what to order for an upcoming catering event. Everything we tried was delicious. The Eggplant Rollatini was outstanding, the best we've ever had. The Chicken Marsala, Penne Vodka, Cavatelli with Broccoli, and Sausage and Peppers were equally as delicious, as was their homemade Caesar dressing. The Taste of Italy is probably the best Italian restaurant in the area. My wife and I go there often.“
