“We ate here once before, but it was just as things opened up after COVID, and it was so-so. We finally returned and I'm so happy we did. The food was very good, the service was super friendly and attentive, and the interior is cozy. We've found our favorite local spot for Mexican food!“
“I ordered tacos here and was pleasantly surprised by the authentic taste.Upon walking into this restaurant, you're almost transported to a more western atmosphere. The service was great. All our tacos were made fresh and the wait was not long all. There doesn't seem to be a ton of foot traffic here so you can expect to be in and out, without much waiting.Shrimp tacos here are a must-try!I'll be back very soon.“
“We recently had the pleasure of dining here today. This restaurant brings out the food of its people with great prices. The tacos are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are truly authentic. We tried the fried pork, beef birria and chicken birria tacos and churros they were excellent. The tortillas are made fresh daily. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.“
“It’s a good place small and cozy food is delicious my only complain is that they have only one bathroom and people from the kitchen will take it for ever my kids wait more then 20 minuts to get in and went they finish and call me to go it was somebody there already . That’s why they are getting only 4 start other ways they will get 5 .“
“The food was good and the service was very friendly and fast. The person who ordered tamales said they were delicious and my chimichanga with barbacoa was good, but the two choices of sauce were not my favorite. I opted for verde rather than mole, but it's a little sour for my usual taste. After the fact I realized that maybe I should have asked if they had a red sauce and maybe he only suggested his favorites. Still, overall the food was very good.Parking: The lots nearby are not for the restaurant but they were full anyway. There is street space that has a sign stating no parking but everyone parks there anyway.“
“We love this place, great food and a fair price. The staff is always friendly and punctual. I have dined in and taken to go. The bonitos and tacos are our go to's and their awesome I have also tried many other items on the menu and all are excellent.“
“Tacos were reasonable price and the taste and vibes of the place were authentic.Service was really prompt.Only women in the kitchen.Pico de Gallo with every order.Single regular taco with meat.Birria meat was a little dry but other meats were yum.Green and red hot sauce. This is your next taco stop.“
“First time here with a group. Every single dish we had like the mole and birria quesadillas were excellent. Literally tasted almost like my mom's cooking. Music was on point. The customer service was great. We really enjoyed our time here.“
“This is the best Mexican food I've had in Jersey!! It's family owned and the family is incredibly friendly. The food is authentic, it tastes like it was served straight out of abuela's kitchen. The homemade sauces and dishes are delicious and unique in taste. They serve birria tacos occasionally which are to die for !!! The place is cozy and bright. They deliver, prices are reasonable and the food tastes great even reheated. I love this spot!!!“
“I come here routinely for lunch on my lunch period from school. This place is very accommodating and serves quickly. I’ve become a regular local at this spot over any other place in this area. I love this place. Burritos are an excellent portion size. The quesadillas have chicken that retain the perfect amount of tenderness. This place has a variety of toppings that are both traditional and unconventional you can add to make your meal pop. You also need to try the flan. I know a good flan when I taste one. This is a staple in the area that you have to try.Dietary restrictions: They have a tofu option on the menu if you are into the vegetarian options too.“
“Go here, this is definitely one of the best taco+ burrito places around town. The fresh ingredients, the flavoring is just so on point. Not overwhelming, not too little flavor it’s honestly perfect. I order the short rib burrito and it was like biting into a piece of heaven. I love burritos, I have probably tried burritos at most places around here and this tops everyone I’ve had. Definitely will be back!!Update: I keep coming back, so good!“
“Tl:Dr was tasty but had terrible gas afterward, do not recommend for those with delicate systems!Recommend: tongue tacos, burritos, birria tacosI LOVE tongue tacos. They were a little bland by themselves but we're perfection with some salsa. The pico de gallo is quite spicy which was unexpected but not unwelcome for us.Birria tacos were nice but too cheesy for me (although for cheese lovers it may be perfect). The portion sizes on the burritos are pretty hefty.“
“We have ordered food here many times for our family. The food is always delicious and the staff is excellent! The owner is very supportive of the community!!! If your organization is looking to fundraise, please reach out to the owner of Bubbakoo's Burritos in Livingston.“
“Fresh food and amazing staff. We were looking for a new spot for some street food (tacos) and we were half we tried this place. Warm welcome when we came in we ordered the Beef Nachos they were stacked high and the beef very tender. For the mains a spicy shrimp and buttermilk chicken taco all were amazing as you can see by the pictures. We had homemade key lime pie and bread pudding for dessert and they did not disappoint. We spoke to the owner a very nice man and he comes up with weekly specials posted on Instagram. Place is also BYOB. We will be backParking: Parking in the rear“
“Be careful what you wish for. One torta here completely eliminated any chance I'd be doing any more climbing yesterday at the gym we were at next door. Delicious lunch though next time I'll opt for something lighter if I hope to continue climbing.“
“The family at Los Hermanos is a quality group. The meet you with a smile and their space is delightful. Nice for a quick bite whether that’s for a breakfast quesadilla or a lunch entree. A great addition to the 4th ward of Montclair. Also, side note - they wear gloves while preparing your food and it’s a very clean establishment.“
“Came here for lunch with my dad and enjoyed an awesome authentic experience. Music was festive as well as the atmosphere! Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave us breakdown of all the options to the dishes they prepared. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his Mexican style tacos and their freshly made salsa! Along with this the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend trying this place out!“
“I bought food for my fiancé and he really liked the food a lot. He was pleasanrly surprised that it came from a food truck. He said it was very tasty and he would get from there again!! Super nice people as well!! They also have a restaurant in Montclair, will definitely check out!! A+++++“
“I absolutely love this place and the owners. I'd like to come here at least once a week if I have time. The food is really good fresh authentic. The food is very close to West Coast Taqueria food, but has a nice twist on it. I absolutely love the Carne Asada, super fresh. My recommendation is to ask them to put fries in your burrito. It's absolutely amazing maybe some avocado too.The owner is so nice he'll do anything you'd like any kind of customization. Some of my family members are picky and he was able to make them all happy and satisfied.I love the portion size and I really appreciate that especially in the tough times we're living in right now with inflation the portions are perfect. They also have pineapple soda, mandarin soda, and some other flavors that are really delicious. The inside of the place is really nice well lit, and it's a small little spot. You can go visit and get a quick bite to eat and also have a nice sitdown dining experience but you don't have to dress up all classy. You can just casually go and enjoy yourself.Again, I absolutely love the owners, and I really want to thank them for being so nice and accommodating.“
“We are from out of town and we were looking for a family oriented restaurant that had good home cooking. The food was delicious, I had a whole snapper with white rice and tostones (green fried plantains) and my husband had white rice, black beans, salad and steak smothered in onions. Everything was Delicious and I even took my leftovers to the hotel for later. I can't say enough about the treatment we got from Denis the owner and his wife. He came to our table and we talked and even exchanged phone numbers. I would recommend anyone looking for a homey place with excellent food and staff to go and enjoy your meal there. You will not regret it.“
“Loved the futbol game playing in the background, how homey it felt to eat there. Split birria tacos and tacos dorados with a date. Both were amazing, even dipping the tacos dorados into the birria consume. The horchata was okay. But the space was perfect for a cute calm date. Would definitely go back.“
“If you're looking for gringo tacos, this is not the spot for you. Super authentic, super delicious,l Mexican fare. The cabeza de reis tacos are incredible. Fresh ingredients, bright and flavorful salsas. This is definitely my new regular taco spot.“
“A fun place to visit with friends or a date night. They decorated the place for Valentine's Day and even folded the napkins into hearts. The first time I came was for the drinks so we just sat at the bar and ordered chips and guac. It was really good so we came back months later to try their actual food. The steak on the stone was cool because you got to cook it exactly to your liking. The plantains were good. I wasn't a huge fan of the green salsa, as it was bland. I would have just stuck to the original. For the dessert we tried the churros, dulce de leches and the brownie and ice cream. The brownie is a very very small portion but it is also rich and decadant. I would probably recommend putting it on a smaller plate presentation wise. I think I liked the churros the best which had two dipping sauces. Drinks were fun and delicious too.“

“For all who are saying bad thinga about this wonderful restaurant, I am not sure where you are coming from. Guacamole is authentic Mexican food. Everything is made fresh daily and also made right in front of you. The flavors in all of the foods are exquisite. It is a Mom and Pop restaurant, and everyone who works there is family. They have worked very hard to make this restaurant the success it is. Shame on everyone with their negative comments. Guess you guys really don't know authentic Mexican food!“
“Excellent, Fresh and (gulp!) Affordable! I am so thrilled that we have the real thing in our cute town! Plus a cafe con leche for 1.87! Isabel was extremely delightful and helpful in helping me choose from all the delicious offerings! THANK YOU. I will be back with the familia, for sure!“
“I have to begin by stating di best staff, fantastic food and all in all great way to impress at your function. We had our company holiday party and had the A Taco Affair truck, which was a big hit. Everyone made sure to tell us how great the tacos were and 5 days later still hearing about it. Couldn't of asked for better service and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Jess, Soraya and staff! Beyond grateful!“
“Food is really good and filling. The short rib is my favorite in any dish. Love the combos when I can’t decide on just one item. The French fry nachos are heavy but really good. The decor inside is so cute, however sometimes there are high school students being loud inside depending on the time you go. The cashiers/waitresses are very sweet. Parking is very limited, plan accordingly. Would recommend to anyone in the area craving Mexican food.“
“I wish I went here sooner. I love everything about this place. There’s plenty of food options. They have a sandwich and wrap station , taco station , pizza station , a fresh salad and bowl station and fruits and desserts. There’s plenty of chips and drinks to choose from. This is a great lunch spot. I had a “Livingston” pizza which had bacon, pineapple , and Gorgonzola cheese and it was real delicious. I also tried an “Essex” sandwich which was chicken cutlet , spicy ranch and tomato on Focaccia bread toasted nicely in the oven. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating. Very friendlyHelpful people working. I will be back for sure to try many more items.“
“this is one of the best authentic mexican restaurants i’ve ever been to. my family and i make the drive all the way from Netcong to here to eat here. The food is delicious and fresh, and the service is awesome, they’re so friendly! i love coming here for the tacos, but all of the food is good, and prices are reasonable! keep in mind it is cash only“
“Came here for breakfast on a Saturday and there wasn’t a lot happening inside, but the service was great. Very friendly staff and the food felt very authentic Mexican. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was great! Not exactly what I was expecting for breakfast, but everything was good.“
“My partner and I have gone to the location in Boonton but they recently closed. After PT my partner took me to the Parsippany location because I was craving some good salsa! As usual, we got the Nacho Surpreme with Al Pastor and it did not disappoint. We were able to finish it all. My partner got the burrito grande and loved it. I got the Parrillada Mixta (Mixed Grill) which had so much meat! It came with chorizo, chicken, steak, pork, and shrimp! I loved all the meats. They were juicy and full of flavor! Tender. The tres leches was AMAZING. So rich and moist. The sauces on the side were a wonderful touch. The portions were huge and we had plenty of leftovers. The staff is so nice. 100% come again!“
“Nene’s Cocina is a hidden gem for authentic Mexican cuisine in Wanaque. The restaurant is cozy, colorful, and BYOB, which adds to the festive atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is fresh and delicious.I ordered the sampler for two, which came with a generous assortment of tacos, quesadillas, nachos, flautas, and guacamole. Everything was well-seasoned, tender, and flavorful. The tacos were especially good, with soft corn tortillas and juicy meat. The guacamole was creamy and chunky, just the way I like it.The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The dishes ranged from $10 to $15. The portions are large and satisfying, and you get a lot of value for your money.I would highly recommend Nene’s Cocina to anyone looking for a great Mexican meal in Wanaque. It is one of the best places I have tried in the area, and I will definitely be back soon. Nene’s Cocina is a must-try for all Mexican food lovers!“
“Yummm! A favorite pastime of ours is finding affordable Mexican food throughout the northeast & this definitely fit the bill. An authentic place with lots of flavor! The mole was delicious & they're super generous with the hot sauce/salsas! Service was kind and attentive. It's a hole in the wall place, but has enough seating for everyone! Hope to come back when in the area.“
“My boyfriend was in the mood for Mexican, so I searched on Grubhub and this was the first time ordering from El Mirador and I have to say that it was awesome! So tasty, the food got to me still hot and the portion was just right! I am a foodie and the food here was fresh and great tasting. Will definitely be a regular customer!“
“This is our top choice for Mexican cuisine in the area. The Steak burritos with Red sauce are incredibly delicious. We look forward to ordering delivery have a wonderful time at the restaurant. If you're searching for a reliable dining spot, this place is definitely worth a try.“
“Our waiter Benny was one of a kind, it's not easy being a server, we both were very impressed for an excellent service he provided with good manners, smiley face and very friendly, it was delicious appetizers and food...Highly recommended if you're into Mexican food!!! “
“It was my first time visiting this place. The delicious food, the excellent service attended by Carolina and Ross. They know who I am. I went with my friend. The reasonable price is worth paying for all of this. I will return soon. The only bad thing is they don't have parking.“
“I've had a few minor mishaps with the service here, but overall it is certainly worth trying!Vegetarian options: Since you can build your own food, and there are plenty of options, I found it very easy to get a satisfying meal without meat in it.Parking: The parking lot is small, but there is more parking behind the building.“
