“Love coming here but it's better to come during the week when it's not so busy because the wait can be a while. I do have to say, the service is super quick even on the busiest days. The have the best chips and salsa. I always get mixed chicken and steak fajitas and the tortillas come warmed. My friend always gets their enchiladas. Don't skip out on their frozen Margs, they're delicious. Everything is very reasonably priced.“
“We ate here once before, but it was just as things opened up after COVID, and it was so-so. We finally returned and I'm so happy we did. The food was very good, the service was super friendly and attentive, and the interior is cozy. We've found our favorite local spot for Mexican food!“
“Charming rustic Cafe across from Lackawanna Plaza. There are two rooms, and we were grateful we were placed at the window seat in the front ! Servers were superior! Food was fantastic. I enjoyed the egg white spinach omelet with toast and potatoes. It was very tasty. There special iced expresso drink with cinnamon was AMAZING. My friends had the vegetarian bowl and French Toast with berries. We all loved the food, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend Minias Montclair!!!“
“I absolutely love this place and the owners. I'd like to come here at least once a week if I have time. The food is really good fresh authentic. The food is very close to West Coast Taqueria food, but has a nice twist on it. I absolutely love the Carne Asada, super fresh. My recommendation is to ask them to put fries in your burrito. It's absolutely amazing maybe some avocado too.The owner is so nice he'll do anything you'd like any kind of customization. Some of my family members are picky and he was able to make them all happy and satisfied.I love the portion size and I really appreciate that especially in the tough times we're living in right now with inflation the portions are perfect. They also have pineapple soda, mandarin soda, and some other flavors that are really delicious. The inside of the place is really nice well lit, and it's a small little spot. You can go visit and get a quick bite to eat and also have a nice sitdown dining experience but you don't have to dress up all classy. You can just casually go and enjoy yourself.Again, I absolutely love the owners, and I really want to thank them for being so nice and accommodating.“
“Food is really good and filling. The short rib is my favorite in any dish. Love the combos when I can’t decide on just one item. The French fry nachos are heavy but really good. The decor inside is so cute, however sometimes there are high school students being loud inside depending on the time you go. The cashiers/waitresses are very sweet. Parking is very limited, plan accordingly. Would recommend to anyone in the area craving Mexican food.“
“Food had been overall pretty good for 2 visits now. Only complaints were an extremely salty asparagus side and kind of brown guacamole.Their food is reliably tasty, although I'd like to see them expand their menu a little from the carb, meat and salt bomb items a little more with some veggie options, as well as look into updating their decor style. That's not this Chili's location's issue, of course.Service is always polite and efficient, and I really like the machines that let you pay right there and go when ready. We enjoy coming here and will be back.“
“Stop playing with me. I stopped by this unassuming little restaurant on a whim while waiting for my car at Hyundai. I had no idea I was about to have one if he best breakfasts I've eaten all year.SERVICE:Excellent service all around. Order at the front counter and they have a few seats inside. I dined in and had no complaints. FOOD:Woo. Alright, so I had Mangu. Had I ever had Mangu before today? No. But a quick google search confirmed that it's a traditional Dominican breakfast consisting of mashed plantains with pickled red onion, thick fried salami, eggs and a fried cheese. The presentation was like something you'd expect out of a 45-minute wait $30-a-plate brunch spot. It was gorgeous. And as good as it looked, I can tell you it tasted even better. I'm not a Mangu aficionado by any stretch, but I could find no faults with this meal. The salami was salty and crunchy, the cheese fried to a beautiful golden brown, eggs were over-medium as requested, and the mashed plantains stole the show - slightly chunky, hearty and filling with a perfect amount of acid from the red onion. Everything complimented everything. It was so good, I was compelled to sit here in the restaurant and write this review immediately after finishing. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and run - don't walk - to this little cafe. I only wish I had more of a reason to be in Bloomfield. Hey - maybe now I do.“
“I've had a few minor mishaps with the service here, but overall it is certainly worth trying!Vegetarian options: Since you can build your own food, and there are plenty of options, I found it very easy to get a satisfying meal without meat in it.Parking: The parking lot is small, but there is more parking behind the building.“
