“the cheddar burger itself is a bit stale, barely tasted the cheese too :( I don’t think there was seasoning in the meat which sucks because the fries are really good especially the curly fries! Would have given 5 stars if the burger was better. Its on the smaller side for portions but i think its worth a try still maybe i got unlucky with the burger“

“Went to the Linwood while visiting family from out of state on a Friday night. I grew up in Linden so I was excited to see how the place has "grown up". Nicer bar, cleaner and comfortable sitting areas than my youth and MUCH better food. Service was excellent and food came out quickly. It was a descent portion and very tasty. My only complaint was the cost but that cannot be helped since the cost of everything has risen. However, $18 for a chicken sandwich seems a bit high.“

“While the food is very good, the service always spot on, very nice sized portions, and priced right, for me the main feature is the diner itself!It's like stepping back in time; diners like this are becoming more rare to find, and I'm glad this old girl is still holding up!Parking: Parking can b a bit difficult during peak hours because the place does good business. Go a little before traditional lunch or breakfast hours and you should be ok.“

“Checkers always brings me back to when I was younger. The food was actually just as good as I remember. This location has decent parking. The staff seemed a bit on the sassy side but other than that everything else was good. Easy to get in and out.“
