Coffee grounds drew my attention on the flavor list and when I asked the server about the choice she said, "it is a coffee flavor they make with real grounds blended in." I got a scoop of coffee grounds and a scoop of coffee chip. The flavors were both totally different. Coffee grounds had a texture to it and I liked it, although the coffee flavor was quite subtle. The coffee chip flavor was much sweeter and had a stronger coffee flavor.“

If you're a sushi lover, then I do recommend this place.It's different from a traditional buffet because they give you a menu sheet and pencils, and you pick the items you want, and they make your food Ala carte. The food is brought out on a large tray which is placed kn the table. It's more like a share type set up, and it works nicely.My only complaint is the restraunt itself. It's sleepy and very outdated. Feels like you stepped back in time. The seating is old and the tables are too small. If they updated the decor and gutted the place and made it more modern, their business would skyrocket more than it already is.Regardless of the decor, I will be going back again because the food is that good.“

Greeted by very friendly staff, sat quickly. Our waitress was great, answered all our questions. Get the wings with the house sauce, we got buffalo and house. I will admit I think I got a little too overzealous with my bowl choices but I love that everything is unlimited! Next time, I'll try to build a more cohesive bowl. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, not too sweet not too tart which is sometimes an issue for me at Playa Bowls. The highlights were the pitaya and mango bases.“

The baked ziti was really delicious, reminding me of my grandmom’s Italian cooking and much better than standard catering fare. The salad was very fresh with strawberries and a yummy tangy dressing, and the cheesecake was some of the best I’ve ever had. Also, when they needed to substitute the toffee topping on the cheesecake I ordered, they went above and beyond to find a suitable sub for us, offering lots of yummy alternatives (we went with pecan and salted caramel - YUM!). Anthony’s is going to be my new go-to when I’m entertaining and don’t want to cook!“

“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“

“In town for a Driscoll Food Show. As restaurant owners ourselves we take notice of so many attributes. The ambiance, attention to detail, service and especially the food. Our meals were absolutely delicious. I had the Butternut Squash Soup and King Salmon with Beurre Blanc with Sundried Tomatoes and my husband had the Scallops with Angel Hair. Nice experience and highly recommend!“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. Also das war seit sehr sehr langer Zeit so ziemlich der beste Döner (mit Ausnahme einem Besuch in Berlin), den ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe.
