Especially the Dover Sole cooked and deboned tableside. So buttery delicious. The evening special of red snapper was excellent. The steak was perfectly prepared as was the chicken with a delicious sauce. Dessert included chocolate mousse - almost as thick as a pot de crème - such an indulgence. The soufflé was a black raspberry which you could smell prior to its appearance at the table. Yum!!!! Always delicious with wonderful service in a pretty dining area.“

“Tried to post a review but this place didn't exist on Yelp so decided to add it just to post a review becauseeeeee, I had one of the best airport salads here. We all know airport food isn't great so being that I got a great meal, I had to give them props. I got the brussel sprouts salad and added chicken. The grilled chicken was well seasoned/charred. Salad was low on brussel sprouts but the mixed greens made up for it. Almonds, pomegranate seeds, and craisins were a nice mix. Overall I'm just happy I got a fresh and good tasting salad in good portion size. Still overpriced but what can you do? It's at the airport.“

“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

“The Carriage House Restaurant is literally steps from the PaperMill Playhouse. Great to stop in prior to a performance. The atmosphere is best described as "cozy and rustic". I've stopped in about 2-3 times for drinks and appetizers. The food has always been very tasty. Little on the pricey side. On a positive note, you're only a few steps away from the theater. As of now, I've had Chicken Sausage Appetizers and a Steak Quesadilla. Nice wine and cocktail list. We've enjoyed their wine and cocktails on a previous visit. In December '23, I had an issue making reservations. Left two telephone messages and never received a call back. I couldn't even make a reservation on Opentable or Resy. We stopped in and informed the hostess of the issue. Anyway, we ended up eating at the bar. The Carriage House Restaurant does offer Cabaret and Murder Mystery shows.“

“Olgas place is a land mark in the Elizabeth Port. To know Olga's is to know Elizabeth. Tucked away on a quiet one way street. Just on the other side of where the Turnpike divides the Frog Hollow Section of Elizabeth from the rest of the city.Olga has been one of the best places to enjoy. Recently remodeled and updated. This family owned an operated Restaurant/ Bar.Has been serving the best ?? Costa Rican Cusine for over 20 years. The menu is full of all sorts of great dishes. From a surf and turf to a Chifrijo. One of my personal favorites.White Rice covered in black beans with small pieces of Chicharon mixed in.( fried pork bits) topped with pico de gallo and sliced avocado. A hardy meal. My go to after a long day and an empty stomach. The prices are really reasonable. If you are just looking to have a good time and catch up with some friends.Olga's Place is that place. Where the music is playing just loud enough to make you dance in your seat. But not so loud where you can't enjoy the conversation with your date. You can sit at the bar or dinning room. TVs align the walls. You can catch the latest sporting event. Don't see the game you are looking for. Ask one of the friendly managers. They will be happy to look for it and put it on for you.Talking about the bar. They serve the latest and trendiest drinks. The bar tenders and wait staff are on point. Everyone is super friendly and go out of thier way to make you feel at home. The place is really busy on the weekends. As it has it share of local regulars and people who come from all over the state. There is plenty of parking on both sides of the building. If you know me and follow my post and reviews. You know I really enjoy my Cappuccinos. Ximena is one of the servers and makes it perfect every time. Ask for her to make your Cappuccino. You won't be disappointed. They have something going on every day of the week. Karaoke,Salsa Night and even a game night. You can enjoy singing along with the staff. They seem to know all the songs. Claudia will entertain you with her singing. Karla will charm you with her great smile and personality. You won't ever have to wait long. For your food or drink. I enjoy Thursday Nights when Kelly and Hariana are working. They make sure my order is right everytime.Olga's Place is trendy, hip yet they maintain a great family atmosphere.I just can't say enough about this place.I dont offer 5 stars often but this place is really that good. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook to stay connected with what's going on.I have quickly become a regular. I bet you might to. #ElizabethStrongParking: The Building has off street parking on both sides. “The mid-week drink specials are awesome. Bucket of beers a favorite of mine. Dallas Cowboys bar that's a plus for football season. Pool table is in the corner. Old school R&B, House, and Neo Soul playing most of the time for the grown and sexy.“

“There's good bartender service. Nice vibe, nice music. The cost of drinks is fair. They're fed. This place appeals to me. Everyone is checked for your safety, including the security personnel, front and back bars, Djs on deck, sports on TV, and ATH. There are hookers on deck and a pleasant vibe.“

“My manbun chum and I have been trying to find a home to watch our one March Madness game every year, and I think we found it for the foreseeable future. In fact, this time it looks to be a literal home.We stopped by last night to watch my beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs end their tournament run against Purdue. I could go into quite a bit of detail about some very shady calls in the paint and what I think should have been a taunting foul on Purdue's future proctologist Fletcher Loyer, but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I could tell I was going to like it. Prior years have been marred by loud sports bar atmospheres where you have to battle tooth and nail to convince someone to change the channel to something that isn't a mediocre NYC-area sports team (I say this as a Mets fan as well). Liberty was significantly quieter, definitely had an older crowd but also had numerous TVs throughout. The best of all worlds. I walked maybe 10 feet from the entrance, asked the bartender if she could switch the TV to the Zags on TBS, and that was that. Aside from a weird moment in the second half when the TV mysteriously changed to ESPN for a few minutes (we never confirmed the culprit), we had primo viewing of the game. Somehow we also managed to sit down next to a couple whose son was currently at Purdue. What a world.Vibe is everything with a place like this. I did a mild double-take when I realized the bar was located in a literal residential neighborhood in what may be someone's actual house (or at least upstairs). There's a parking lot on the side that had plenty of spots, and overall this was one of the most conveniently located establishments I've ever been to - it's about 30 seconds from Route 78 both ways. Initially I felt bad for the neighbors, but as bars go this is not exactly one that's going to be hosting raucous throwdowns outside or anything. You may actually be able to go to bed at 9pm living next door, which is my personal dream. The interior has a lot of tchotchkes behind the bar, and is surprisingly comfortable/spacious. The game started a little after 7:30pm on a Friday, but there were seats available right in front of the TVs and most of the patrons seemed to be in the back area playing pool. It did get a little more crowded throughout the game, but never to a point where it felt claustrophobic. The clientele demo skewed all over the place - several older codgers looked like they'd been rejected from Rock of Love Charm School (I thought one in particular was a dead ringer for Poison's CC DeVille), but there was also a few young men roaming around and middle-aged couples/singles throughout the establishment as well. Pretty much anyone who would theoretically come into a bar, did.We had a good bartender, who not only accommodated my TV request, but was friendly and accessible throughout our stay. I was in a sweet palate mood, and she offered to make a Hawaiian Volcano, apparently a drink pilfered from her days at TGI Friday's years ago. It's not something I'd necessarily get on a regular basis, but it definitely brought me back to my early legal drinking years for sure. I could taste some Malibu and juice, and sipped them throughout the game. We also got mozzy sticks and a pepperoni bar pie. Both were really decent for what they were, especially the mozzy sticks, which were fried perfectly. I thought the pizza tasted like a giant Bagel Bite, which is not an insult. But let's be clear - this is a dive bar, so it's not like you're wandering into the kitchen and stumbling across Jeremy Allen White from The Bear. You want something fairly tasty to munch on, and we got it.Strong recommend. I think expectations for a dive bar should be pretty simple - comfortable and pleasant. This was certainly that, minus the March Madness heartbreak.“

“I visited Just Jake’s on a Friday evening for a live band performance and had a good time. There are no waiters, tables or chairs, just a big dance floor near the stage and a bar so everybody was dancing and having fun. There was a $8 cover charge and the price of the drinks were reasonable. Staff was friendly and it was easy and quick to get drinks.“

“The service is top notch, the food was spot on, and the place is your typical Jersey restaurant. The staff are all friendly and the host Gail is amazing. We happen to be here on a Saturday evening, and they were having an even in the bar area so after dinner we headed there and partied out until 1:30 in the morning. Great place!! Luckily, we had a room in the adjacent Best Western. Love this Best Western because it is convenient, and they have room service from this restaurant.“

We had more than enough room for our guests and they enjoyed the food. I'd recommend Stage House for your next event!“
