“We called ahead to reserve a table of 10 with a person with a wheel chair. The table was very narrow and seating was very close, but we managed to sqeeze in. I enjoyed the deviled egg appetizer that was sprinkled with bacon bits. The popcorn shrimp was not the small sized ones that were expected. Only 4 large shrimp came to an order so we had to order 2. The fried okra and potato skins were enjoyed too. Our guests loved their burgers, pulled pork, chipped beef and salmon salad. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed in my dry herb chicken breast and overly charred grilled vegetables. Service was excellent. The place was very busy on a Wednesday night. It is bright and tight (with spacing of tables). There is no dedicated lot, so you have to find parking on the nearby streets.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an alleyway to the right of the restaurant with a side door that is good. We managed to enter through the front, but it was a tight sqeeze making it through to the room where our table was set up.“

I had a sake cocktail (or two) and the Korean beef, which was recommended by 2 other customers. As someone at the bar said, the menu has been Americanized since the last owners, so there’s not a focus on only Shanghai foods anymore (evidenced by the Korean beef above).Would absolutely return for food, atmosphere, and music!“

“Noches de Colombia has wonderful service and outstanding food. Eclectic, full of flavor and passion and the portions were HUGE. The cocktails were fun. The environment is tricky; it is colorful and fun, but also the flow of the main seating area is chopped up.andappears like you are in dance floor. It can't decide what it wants to be. You can see the full Bakery in eye's view with customer traffic, so quieter romantic dinners would be better served with elevated quality booths or partitioned from the main eating area. It's a BIG CHOPPY space and it can be considered tacky and off-putting, but these are quibbles. The food, again was lights out and the service was great.“

Especially the Dover Sole cooked and deboned tableside. So buttery delicious. The evening special of red snapper was excellent. The steak was perfectly prepared as was the chicken with a delicious sauce. Dessert included chocolate mousse - almost as thick as a pot de crème - such an indulgence. We were greeted and promptly taken care of by our hostesses after walking in. After our group had all arrived, we decided to order a bunch of small plates and a couple pizzas, so as not to completly engorge ourselves. We ordered the Bao Buns, Chicharron Arancini, Buffalo Cauliflower, Salmon Crudo, Truffle Friesm Goat Cheese & Bacon Pizza, and Broken Burrata Pizza. Each bite was super flavorful and delicious. Our favorites were the Buffalo Cauliflower and Arancini. Both pizzas were also super tasty. The crunch of the thin crust made it so enjoyable. We ended our night with a sliver of Tiramisu. Just enough to finish off the meal without feeling overly stuffed. 10/10 would highly recommend.“

“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

The bartenders are very consistent with the drink making and I have never had a bad drink here. The ambience in the bar area is very sophisticated and the seating in the front of the bar is the perfect spot. I've also tried some small plates too like the burger bites which I would like to be snacking on right now. The little sliders have goat cheese for a unique twist and really delicious sweet potato fries on the side. I've had both flatbreads too which are a good starter to share with friends and family.“

I've stopped in about 2-3 times for drinks and appetizers. The food has always been very tasty. Little on the pricey side. On a positive note, you're only a few steps away from the theater. As of now, I've had Chicken Sausage Appetizers and a Steak Quesadilla. Nice wine and cocktail list. We've enjoyed their wine and cocktails on a previous visit. In December '23, I had an issue making reservations. Left two telephone messages and never received a call back. I couldn't even make a reservation on Opentable or Resy. We stopped in and informed the hostess of the issue. Anyway, we ended up eating at the bar. The Carriage House Restaurant does offer Cabaret and Murder Mystery shows.“

“My family and I were big fans of this restaurant but today’s meal for some of us was somewhat disappointing. I was also surprised how high the prices have gotten on many of the more simple fare dishes - especially for Sunday lunch. Like $22 for a grilled chicken sandwich and almost $40 for crab cakes. We usually dine at similar restaurants but prices here seemed higher than average while dining in a tent with exposed plywood. Many times we had to search for a server and the apple cobbler in a nutshell - was terrible. It was like eating an undercooked mouthful of raw batter with cooked apples. Honestly- the house has some work to do if they want to charge these prices . I mean, I have had wonderful experiences here before, but today missed the mark.“

“Hi Colleen & Oh’ Brian Staff,Thank you for everything YOU personally did to go above and beyond to make today happen for our family’s celebration. The atmosphere, the positive energy, level of preparedness, attentiveness to our guests were all amazing. Arriving at Oh’Brian’s from a solemn service to warm, welcoming staff was really wonderful. As guests arrived, they were brought to our private seating area and offered beverages and drinks from the bar. As people were greeting and gathering and getting situated, it was clear, staff was attentive and present. As discussed having the buffet style, everything was set and organized.People raved about the Garden Salad; The hot food entrees were phenomenal and plentiful; our guests felt comfortable heading up to get another plate. None of our guest felt rushed at any time and were grateful for being asked for drink refills. The bar service/staff was fantastic. The timing of the desserts was perfect. Despite the drizzly, dreariness of the day, guests took advantage of the canopied outdoor seating area-which is also lovely. We realize a restaurant works as a team, and this team was fabulous. Again, thank you, Colleen, for your open communications, input/feedback, flexibility and sharing various options for alternate layouts for accommodations. Again, planning something like this, there’s a deeper appreciation of having staff immediately demonstrate sincere kindness and understanding. “My manbun chum and I have been trying to find a home to watch our one March Madness game every year, and I think we found it for the foreseeable future. In fact, this time it looks to be a literal home.We stopped by last night to watch my beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs end their tournament run against Purdue. I could go into quite a bit of detail about some very shady calls in the paint and what I think should have been a taunting foul on Purdue's future proctologist Fletcher Loyer, but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I could tell I was going to like it. Prior years have been marred by loud sports bar atmospheres where you have to battle tooth and nail to convince someone to change the channel to something that isn't a mediocre NYC-area sports team (I say this as a Mets fan as well). Liberty was significantly quieter, definitely had an older crowd but also had numerous TVs throughout. The best of all worlds. I walked maybe 10 feet from the entrance, asked the bartender if she could switch the TV to the Zags on TBS, and that was that. Aside from a weird moment in the second half when the TV mysteriously changed to ESPN for a few minutes (we never confirmed the culprit), we had primo viewing of the game. Somehow we also managed to sit down next to a couple whose son was currently at Purdue. What a world.Vibe is everything with a place like this. I did a mild double-take when I realized the bar was located in a literal residential neighborhood in what may be someone's actual house (or at least upstairs). There's a parking lot on the side that had plenty of spots, and overall this was one of the most conveniently located establishments I've ever been to - it's about 30 seconds from Route 78 both ways. Initially I felt bad for the neighbors, but as bars go this is not exactly one that's going to be hosting raucous throwdowns outside or anything. You may actually be able to go to bed at 9pm living next door, which is my personal dream. The interior has a lot of tchotchkes behind the bar, and is surprisingly comfortable/spacious. The game started a little after 7:30pm on a Friday, but there were seats available right in front of the TVs and most of the patrons seemed to be in the back area playing pool. It did get a little more crowded throughout the game, but never to a point where it felt claustrophobic. The clientele demo skewed all over the place - several older codgers looked like they'd been rejected from Rock of Love Charm School (I thought one in particular was a dead ringer for Poison's CC DeVille), but there was also a few young men roaming around and middle-aged couples/singles throughout the establishment as well. Pretty much anyone who would theoretically come into a bar, did.We had a good bartender, who not only accommodated my TV request, but was friendly and accessible throughout our stay. I was in a sweet palate mood, and she offered to make a Hawaiian Volcano, apparently a drink pilfered from her days at TGI Friday's years ago. It's not something I'd necessarily get on a regular basis, but it definitely brought me back to my early legal drinking years for sure. I could taste some Malibu and juice, and sipped them throughout the game. We also got mozzy sticks and a pepperoni bar pie. Both were really decent for what they were, especially the mozzy sticks, which were fried perfectly. I thought the pizza tasted like a giant Bagel Bite, which is not an insult. But let's be clear - this is a dive bar, so it's not like you're wandering into the kitchen and stumbling across Jeremy Allen White from The Bear. You want something fairly tasty to munch on, and we got it.Strong recommend. I think expectations for a dive bar should be pretty simple - comfortable and pleasant. This was certainly that, minus the March Madness heartbreak.“

“Visited TOG to see the band Cold Hill (who were EXCELLENT). This is a smaller Irish bar/pub with a wonderful relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Bar tenders were great, friendly and pleasant. The bar is divided down the center, bar and open area, by a half wall with large opening so you are able to enjoy the band while at the bar or stand/sit in the open area. Music wasn't too loud, still able to talk with friends. Prices were good and I would really love to visit this place again ☘️Parking: We used public parking down behind the Morristown Diner. Just a couple of mins walk to TOG.“

“The service is top notch, the food was spot on, and the place is your typical Jersey restaurant. The staff are all friendly and the host Gail is amazing. We happen to be here on a Saturday evening, and they were having an even in the bar area so after dinner we headed there and partied out until 1:30 in the morning. Great place!! Luckily, we had a room in the adjacent Best Western. Love this Best Western because it is convenient, and they have room service from this restaurant.“

“We had a fantastic dining experience here, made especially great by our server, Janine. Food was great, beer was delicious, atmosphere was perfect for four young kids. “We visited The West Essex Diner on a bustling Sunday morning, arriving around noon. Despite the crowd, we were seated within a brief 10-minute wait, which was understandable given the rush. However, the dining experience left much to be desired. I ordered a classic breakfast featuring sunny-side-up eggs with a side of steak and home fries, accompanied by toast and coffee. My friend opted for a western omelet paired with French toast. Disappointingly, the French toast lacked powdered sugar, and despite requesting jelly, our waiter seemed to disappear. The food, unfortunately, was rather lackluster, lacking any distinctive flavor or appeal. While the service was initially prompt, our waiter was notably absent after serving our meals, only reappearing when we requested the check. It was then that he offered more coffee, but by that point, I was already ready to leave. Overall, the experience felt ordinary, and the food failed to surpass what I could have easily prepared at home with more flavor.“

The staff is amazing. It's what you want in a steakhouse. We had the meatball appetizer , lasagna, New York strip, filet mignon and we split the Wagyu steak. “Our server davie was awesome- my son has a few allergies (dairy, egg, and nut) and made sure all of the food we ordered was safe for him to eat. We really appreciated it, especially that he checked up on us asking if he was safe once the food came out. Little things like that I’ve really come to appreciate at restaurants and make our experience so much better. Definitely adding Nom to the list of restaurants to visit again. “Love love love this bar. The aesthetic is very nerdy in the best way possible. Love the Nintendo vibes all around. I’ve played pool, shuffle board, and board games here. The upkeep is 10/10. Clean and cute. The trivia nights are also fun to attend. The karaoke nights get a little crowded so try to get there earlier on every off Friday. Korean food next door is also a great plus!“
