“Been meaning to try this place for awhile , finally went today and it didn't't disappoint. I placed an order for 60 Lahamacun and it was told it will be ready. Went to pick up and it was ready on time. They pack every 10 in a neat box. Fresh bread was just coming out of the oven and I had to try. The lahamacun is thin and made fresh, the seasoning was perfect. One of the best I tasted in NJ. The bread was fresh, soft and delicious also. Definitely going back to try the pides and pizzas. The staff was super friendly and even helped carry the boxes to my car.“

This place is run by Afghans and they are really warm and welcoming people to their food truck also the service is quick while the food is served hot and fresh.After reading some reviews here, I opted for a chicken chapli kebab platter. Chapli kebab is basically a ethnic Pashtun dish from the border region of Afghanistan-Pakistan. The minced chicken was good while adding the right amount of spices to give a succulent taste, for the first time, I had cumin rice and it tasted good and was a welcome change from the regular saffron rice available elsewhere. These people provided fries alongside salad and topped it with white sauce which had the right amount of thickness while their mint sauce was a welcome addition to this. I don't usually go for the spicy sauce as I'm not a big fan of it.Overall it's a great experience to try something for the first time apart from halal guys and adel's. The big advantage of the food is that it lacks food coloring like adel's and whatever prepared is done in the right way while also the wait time is very less compared to adel's and halal guys.“

“We have had our private event at this lovely restaurant. we used the main dining room area for a party of 46 of us. The menu was excellent with a great variety of meats and chickens and seafood, along with some vegetarian items. The staff has made us very comfortable and brought each cocktail and meal on time. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I had the chicken Adana kabob and my family members had salmon lamb chops lanb Adana, which was all wonderful. THE LENTIL SOUP, one of the best I have had!! Great portions, about $20-$30 a person. I am stuffed! Deniz was the gentleman who helped us and was super attentive! He recommended some yummy Turkish sodas and desserts. Great service, would definitely come here again!“

The regular mash is good and the spicy mash is unique. The honey definitely makes it taste different than other burgers. “GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. Also das war seit sehr sehr langer Zeit so ziemlich der beste Döner (mit Ausnahme einem Besuch in Berlin), den ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe. “I had the opportunity to try Bosnian food or in other words balkan food. Let me tell the food was freaking amazing!!! The owner was so nice and absolutely awesome to talk to. The vibe you get from him is like we are family. First, food choice to come out was the most fluffy burek slices ranging from cheese, spinach and even meat version. I truly enjoyed the meat slice so much I even licked my fingers clean. Second food selection that came out was the chevapi and man when I saw the meat was so juicy and tender it literally brings a smile to my face while making my mouth water. Make sure to rip a piece of the bread grab a piece of the meat and grab some onions you’ll thank me later. The chevapi is so flavorful that will drive your taste paletes into overtime!!! Third food selection the owner personally recommended to us was the two month old veal slow cooked to perfection. Literally you pierce your fork into it the meat just falls apart. First bite the flavor of the veal will take you to nirvana. Try this if you try the veal, take a piece of the bread from the chevapi and dip it into the bone marrow. That delicious flavor from slow cooking is going to kick you senses into overtime! Will I recommend someone to come try this restaurant? Absolutely!!! I cannot wait to go back and try this.“

“I happen to wander in to Luv Bites on a Saturday morning looking for a brunch place. It turned out to be a nice place with a fusion. We were immediately greeted by the friendly owner. The place had a cozy ambiance.They had a pretty cool menu with unique names and a variety to chose from. I ordered their Jalapeños popped Stuffed omelette. There was a line when I entered; the people in front of me were taking a while to decide and order, but the cashier was patient and helpful with them. “Amazing service at Sami’s Kabab House LIC!! Me and my friends (group of 5) came here after class to break our fast during Ramadan and it was such an amazing experience. Service was courteous, fast, and excellent, we were seated immediately and given refreshments. We got the family combo, and each bite was perfection. Every kebab, especially the chicken tikka and lamb shank was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Their kabuli pulao is also 10/10, some of the best I’ve had hands down! You can tell the owner takes real pride in what they do! It’s in an excellent neighborhood and I think everyone should come by and try this place. “2022 Review: The lineup was almost 2 hours on a Sunday night. It could either mean the food is amazing and super popular, or also, they’re understaffed. I believe it was a mix of both reasons considering when I got the food, it was ok (nothing like the original Halal Guys that I had in 2002. Food was ok, but won’t be going out of my way by waiting 2 hours for it again.2024 Review: tried it again to see if it can live the hype. The guy taking the order got my order wrong (for the better by not giving me chicken but only lamb) and ended up taking an extra $1 cash from me (after the extra white sauce), since he did not understand giving a $20 for 2 plates + extra sauce costs $9 x 2 + $1 = $19 (but whatever, it’s ok if the food is worth it).Chicken is definitely worth sleeping on but the lamb gyro is a show stopper! You can go with either rice (I took spicy but my wife took the regular yellow) and both were fantastic! I will come back just for the lamb over rice (and will make sure I give the exact cash to prevent them from breaking full bills where they do miscalculations, lol)… Note: line is still 45 minutes long at the minimum but after a delicious meal, you can go across the street and get some magnolia bakery.“

I like spicy but nothing crazy where your mouth on fire so I got the MILD chicken white & dark meat both yummy & I got the lemon & herb chicken and that was so good especially if you like lemon cus it was a strong lemon taste which I love lemon so A+.
