“Although seemingly plain on the outside with stucco plastered on its walls, it has a certain charm once you walk in. With a few counter stools, old fashion booths, upbeat workers and great service, this really is a great place to visit just for the environment. As for the food, I would recommend a specialty burger since you can't go wrong with the burger of your choice and fries. However, I wouldn't recommend the American cheese on it. And if you don't particularly like sautéed vegetables, I would shy away from the Italian hot dog. As for the drink, as long as you like ice cream, a milk shake is the right choice for you. However, don't get the orange juice, as my sister described it as tasting like dirty dish water. With some great meal options and stellar service, this place is definitely worth the visit. No one, except for the community, would know it's a hidden gem.“

“Found this spot by searching for diners near Somerset, NJ. What's a visit to NJ without s stop to a diner. This was a great decision. My meal consisted of French toast, bacon, home fries and scrambled eggs with cheese. Everything was delicious. Walk in seat yourself. Our server was very pleasant. Decor on the wall was beautiful. Looks small from the outside, but was the perfect spot!!“

“This is my town diner and every time we go there, the experience is great.2024.01: I just came here for an omelet, but decided to get the Jersey eggs Benedict. Essentially the Canadian bacon is swapped out for Pork roll.It was fantastic: salty, tangy and creamy. It was cooked perfectly, and at my table less than 5 minutes.I was impressed.“

“The Golden Corner Diner in Bound Brook is a solid choice for a classic diner experience. The food is fresh and delicious, exactly what you crave from a diner. Everything from juicy burgers to fluffy omelets seems to be made with quality ingredients. The staff at Golden Corner gets a thumbs up too. They're attentive and friendly, making sure your coffee cup stays full and your order is correct. They even shine when it comes to handling large groups. The diner can seat a surprising number of people, and the staff manages to keep things running smoothly even during a rush.Overall, while Golden Corner might not be the most innovative diner out there, it delivers exactly what it promises - delicious food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. For a reliable and enjoyable diner meal, Golden Corner is a solid four-star option.“

“I primarily use them for office lunches. Their hoagies are really very good, and I would consider them a value. This is usually my go to when I'm buying lunch for the office. The food is always so fresh and tastes great. Lisa is awesome and always goes above and beyond. I love supporting small businesses, and they make it so easy to keep coming back. Great food, at a great price AND great service - you can't beat it! Breakfast sandwiches and platters are great too.“

“Beautifully decorated, the ambience was lovely. Servers were ever smiling and helpful and helped cater the food options to our taste and requirements. The second time I've been here and needless to say, it's a lovely place with great food and service. Recommend to go when you want a quick meal or are looking for multiple options in one place.“

“Very family-oriented, but children and conversations can sometimes make it tough to hear the person talking right next to you. The food is always good, and the portions are generous. The servers are very attentive and friendly. Definitely a go-to place when I’m in the mood for a little taste of home.“

“Good diner disguised as a local town restaurant. Service was excellent. Food was delivered quickly. We order eggs and grits, waffle and chicken and Cuban panini. The chicken with waffles tasted fine but the chicken did not look appealing. Grits were tasty and buttery. We will return.“

“I came to Omega Diner for a Saturday Men's Fellowship with my church. It was 13 of us and we had the back room to ourselves. Our waiter was attentive throughout our duration there, especially for a large group. I ordered the mozzarella and sausage omlette, which was a pretty generous size. I loved how cheesy it was, and the sausage was cooked well. It came with home fries and toast, and I ordered a side of crispy bacon as well. For dessert, I ordered the cannoli cheesecake, and I was blown away by how generous they were with their slices. It tasted as good as it looked, and it wasn't overly rich.“

“Bring an extra pair of socks to the Manville diner, because your socks will be knocked off! When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere we liked, I chose the last available booth next to the window. Our waitress came quickly and we shared a name, immediately I felt a sense of kinship. I ordered cranberry juice and a breakfast burrito with hash browns and the guy sitting in the booth with me ordered coffee, chocolate chip pancakes, toast (rye and dry), eggs and bacon with a side of hash browns. They had a tv in the corner of the diner so I was able to keep an eye on the Iran situation while enjoying my meal. On the wall above us hung a portrait of the old diner that sat on the site, as well as the asbestos factory. This got personal/emotional for me because my grandma is from Manville and many of her relatives worked there and later died from asbestos-related diseases. Price wise, it could’ve been more affordable. My final tab was $42.94 and this was for two people. But to be fair the guy I came with ordered a lot. The diner looks new from the outside but old in the inside, when I called to ask about the history of the diner they hung up on me. All in all, my food was alright and the service was good.“
