“I loved it! And I think you'll love it. I bought the Sweet pear and the a Pineapple and green apple juices. Bomb, I make my own juices and I will still come here. Owner also gave me a sample of the butternut squash soup, delicious. The heat is hot so watch out Lol An their supporting a school from the looks of their business card, thats amazing. Family owned too! Go and try something, they have more than juices and smoothies.”

“Are you looking for fresh, homemade pasta? This is your place. I had the chicken ragu over campanelle. It was so light and delicious. The ragu tasted like it was cooked for hours, chicken and carrot pieces in every bite. The rosemary Focaccia, was like I made it myself, light and fluffy with just the right amount of everything!
We ended are visit with some pretty amazing homemade choc chip cookie gelato sandwiches rolled in Oreo. Wow!
You can order and sit at bar, outside tables, or grab yours to go. Porta Rossa Pasta has so many homemade sauces and fresh delectables you have to check it out. Don't miss this little gem, hidden in Maplewood, NJ.”

“Not our first visit to Lorena's - this location and previous...No reservation, walk-in last Sunday afternoon. Comfortable bar seating; cozy atmosphere. Solid pour drinks with terrific appetizer dining. Salmon tartare and the best French Onion soup....finished off with a great Au Poivre Burger...Many thanks....topped off a beautiful weekend.”

“We’re regulars at the bar here. Always great food drink and service. That’s why I decided to have them cater and host our event at their “Picketts Upstairs” . We had a group of fifty. Spacious good looking room. Our own bar and bartender. Food was outstanding, not your typical buffet. And staff never let things run out. Hot and fresh until everyone was satisfied. Amazing service and quality. HIGHLY recommend Picketts!!”

“Tracy was out waiter. She was fantastic. She gave us the history of the restaurant and made some great suggestions. I'm not a huge guac fan but the tuna tartare with that layer of guac on top was fantastic. The steak frites were excellent. My husband had the dry aged burger, it was juicy and tasty. It was our first time there but it certainly won't be our last.”

“Pallet us such a cool addition to Maplewood NJ! I don't even drink but have been able to enjoy everything this space has to offer. They have non-alcoholic items, trivia nights, a board game selection that's great for my kids and it's an amazing event space to host birthdays, milestones, gatherings and other fun meetups. So lucky that it's in our town!!!”

“We eat here almost every day. The food is always made to order so it does take a few miinutes. The food is delicious, I have never had anything I did not enjoy. Mr. C is always making sure we are happy with what he has prepared for us. Sometimes he will add his own little touch once he gets to know you and what you like. He will make great suggestions if you are not sure what you would like. The girls at the counter are great! This is a small hidden gem!”

The strawberry ice cream was super refreshing and perfect if you’re looking for something light and fruity. The chocolate was rich and satisfying, and the salted caramel truffle was easily one of the highlights; creamy with a great balance of sweet and salty.

Overall, a solid place for ice cream lovers, especially if you’re looking for eggless choices. Definitely worth a visit!”

“First time at Artie's since the move and name change from Arturo's in the village. The new place is big and modern with a warehouse vibe similar to Porta's in Asbury park. The pizza is amazing the crust has a little more tooth than a typical wood fired style you can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients at first bite. Will definitely return.”

“Roman Gourmet has been around a long time and they have delicious pizza and other Italian specialties. When you come here for pizza, it's as if you walked into a time warp - the pizzeria looks like it's from another time, but they have amazing service and always with a smile. If you order a pizza to go, you know it'll be ready within 30 minutes, not like some of the other pizzerias in the area. A great place!”
