I was sad to see the confetti cake go, but they suggested the cinnamon one — guess I've got my next visit planned! I ordered the garlic knot. It's the hugest l've ever seen. The pepperoni slice was so yummy.”

“I love coming to Tandoori Chef for dinner. The restaurant has 4 booth-like tables and has excellent service as well as a nice expansive menu with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This authentic Indian restaurant has a very friendly staff that is accommodating when asked for recommendations or extra pitas or sauce. \n\nAlso a great take-out restaurant with food ready in 20 minutes or less. Plenty of parking in Maplewood Village.”

“Second baptism brunch I've attended here. The staff and food the last time were incredible but the staff this time were above and beyond incredible!! The food was very good and the place was extremely clean! Only issue I had was they put salad on top of each meal after serving a salad to start the meal. Didn't make much sense to me. But I still highly recommend this place!!! Too bad I could only give 5 stars to the service as it deserves 10!!!”

Solid pour drinks with terrific appetizer dining. Salmon tartare and the best French Onion soup....finished off with a great Au Poivre Burger...Many thanks....topped off a beautiful weekend.”

“Stopped in for an appetizer and a beer before heading home for the day. We arrived after they opened at 4 and there were a few people already there. The bartender was super friendly. We ordered some local beers (good variety on tap) $10 a beer, and an order of the bang bang shrimp. I am still thinking about them.....for $18 there was a good amount of shrimp, the sauce was perfect and the crispiness of the shrimp was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back for the shrimp and will stay for dinner this time. They have two floors of outdoor seating as well which is blocked from the main road.”

“We eat here almost every day. The food is always made to order so it does take a few miinutes. The food is delicious, I have never had anything I did not enjoy. Mr. C is always making sure we are happy with what he has prepared for us. Sometimes he will add his own little touch once he gets to know you and what you like. He will make great suggestions if you are not sure what you would like. The girls at the counter are great! This is a small hidden gem!”

I am not from NJ but needed some cookie platters delivered to a friend’s home in Maplewood NJ. It was Labor Day - nothing was open and we needed the cookies delivered the next day. I took a gamble and emailed the Brown Sugar Cookie Shop. They answered back immediately and were INCREDIBLY accommodating and helpful! The cookies were delivered on time and, better yet, I heard they were delicious. It was a pleasure working with Tricia and I would do so again in a second.”

“First time at Artie's since the move and name change from Arturo's in the village. The new place is big and modern with a warehouse vibe similar to Porta's in Asbury park. The pizza is amazing the crust has a little more tooth than a typical wood fired style you can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients at first bite. Will definitely return.”
