“Strolling through town a wanted a little snack to go with my healthy smoothie from earlier. I walked in and was warmly greeted by a cheerful guy. After checking out the menu, I asked him what his favorites were and he made all the tacos sound so delicious. I was kinda of leaning towards a bowl, but after hearing all the taco goodness I grabbed a Cajun shrimp taco to hold me over till later.Turns out the guy I was chatting with was the owner, Todd. Really great to interact with him, super passionate about this place.Service was fast, taco was $6ish, and it was really tasty. I should've grabbed a deal for three, but I'll be back to eat more another day. You should too!“

“We eat here almost every day. The food is always made to order so it does take a few miinutes. The food is delicious, I have never had anything I did not enjoy. Mr. C is always making sure we are happy with what he has prepared for us. Sometimes he will add his own little touch once he gets to know you and what you like. He will make great suggestions if you are not sure what you would like. The girls at the counter are great! This is a small hidden gem!“

I suspect that this place would have a lot more foot traffic if it were in town near Bloomfield Ave or Watchung, but I’m happy to have it so nearby in Upper Montclair, and I hope they are a long-standing fixture here (have seen a few places coke and go in this spot). “My friend and I got together for some good Mexican food. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by the host/server and sat. It was a dimly lit restaurant. I started with the red sangria, and that was tasty. I was a little disappointed because they had no red wine for my next drink, so stuck with the sangria. For my appetizer, I got the camarones scampi, but it was a garlic shrimp, and it was tasty. My friend had the fiesta platter and I tried it and it was good.
