Tacos here are the best in the area! They never disappoint and I’m always full with the 3 tacos that come in a plate! My favorite ones are the pastor tacos but the shrimp ones are really good too! The 3 leches cake and their aguas frescas are recommended too if you have a sweet tooth like me!
i’ve been getting food from here for a long time now. Ever since 2020 I’ve tried numerous different Mexican/latino restaurants, and none of them have satisfied me as much as El Rinconcito de Mama. Every time I come I get a lot of good food for a nice price. It’s simply better than any other Mexican/latino place in Matawan/keyport.

The kid was craving Mexican food so we searched Yelp and found that this place has good reviews. The photos of the food looked good. We decided to try it. There is no parking lot for this place. There is a Municipal parking lot about one block over behind the post office. We lucked out as there was street parking directly in front of the restaurant. We ordered agua de Jamaica.
